« on: March 02, 2006, 12:33:27 AM »
i snatched it from Jpop.com, so here it is :

I upped this for a friend and the link should still be good. I figured I share this wonderful singer with you! Known for being Reira in Nana, she's Japanese American! Yay~!

Anyways, this is her new single, including Faith [ED of the drama Unfair] and Pure eyes.  Enjoy!

*daigong edit*

She is a half-Japanese- and half-Korean-American rising new star in the Japanese pop music scene, an actress and a former Korean model. She was born on September 20, 1983, in Los Angeles and is a citizen of the United States.

Have been listening to her new single lately, I found I like the second song "Pureyes" more than the title song "Faith". Perhaps I personally like upbeat songs than slow songs, and Yuna sang the song so well that it's enjoyable to listen.

I'm so disappointed. Both songs are very generic and even Kumi-ish. Problem is that Kumi already has a bunch of those, so it's nothing new. Being generic doesn't mean they're good, because they are. However, I feel like listening to two album songs, not to two singles. Bad...

 :(

Agreed.  I like the easy pop feel of that tune and Yuna-chan is up to the task.

We burned a DVD of the PV and took it to her parent's restaurant last night.  They have a good DVD/PA system there and played it several times (it was the first time they'd seen it).  I sure hope I don't get sick of the song (I dine there weekly).

I think you're going to get sick of this song faster than her first one.

Quote from: Saburo
As mentioned in another thread, me and a couple friends met Ito Yuna on Friday night at the family restaurant, Aki-no-No, here in Honolulu.  I asked her to scribble something for this humble message board and she graciously accepted.

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner and tried to take a picture of the card she signed.  This is the best I can do at the moment:

She barely had time to eat, visiting almost every table in the house.  And I felt kind of funny that they were playing TV clips from the last several months, over and over.  Jeez, you'd think she'd want a break from herself.  Apparently not: I could hear her humming "Precious" along with the Music Station performance being piped through the restaurant's PA system, just as mommy was ready to drive her home.

Let's make this thread bumping!! Here's the official site.

I'm a go make a Pics thread.

I thought all the English talking it Stuck on You was hilarious  I don't know why. She's fluent in the language, but I just found it funny...

And I enjoyed the song!

My friend burned the PV on a DVD for mommy and daddy this past Friday.  They hadn't seen it before and played it on the restaurant monitor/PA system over and over and over and over and...

Oh, wait I said this already.  Gads I don't think I have to hear it for another eleventy jillion years.  Except I'll be hearing it again this COMING Friday...
