I just want to postwhore. Might as well be informative while I'm at it.

I'm compiling this humongous excel table of Morning Musume related data and it's churning out some interesting things.

All singles up to the 55th by Morning Musume (A and B tracks including instrumental tracks) make up about 860 minutes.

They've done 136 songs, A and B sides.
Ookubo Kaoru arranged 28 of those songs, Dance*Man, 6, among many others.

The smallest first week sales gap between consecutive singles is between Aruiteru and Egao Yes Nudo, with a difference of 83 copies.
The largest is not surprisingly that between Love Machine and Koi no Dance Site, with a difference of less than 360,000 copies.

The longest lapse of time between single releases is about 7 months between Renai Revolution and The Peace!
The shortest is between Furusato and Love Machine, less than 2 months.
The average is about 3 and a half months.

Most H!P subbing efforts are nonexistent these days or put out very lightweight stuff (like making-of's with barely more than three sentences spoken).
We're fortunate then that Tokyo Girls Update is putting out semi-weekly recaps of H!S.
