Team Weekly Playboy vs. Team Young Jump
In both Weekly Playboy and Young Jump, members of that magazine's team will be given a great push with appearances every issue. Look at the features in each magazine, and from the 14 members decide your #1 and vote for her! Each members votes will be totalled up for her team. In February 2010, each team will hold a campaigning event at the AKB theater. At these events both teams will perform their new songs written by them for Akimoto Yasushi. In March 2010, they will hold a combined event where the results of the competition will be announced. The winning team will get to be on the cover of both Weekly Playboy and Young Jump, as well as do gravure for both.

Which team is your favorite and why?

Based on girls: Team PB
- Yuki and Akicha combi can't be beaten!
- High card members: Moeno, Myao and Sae, who I don't necessarily want to see in bikini, but they are fun and cute.
Based on the song: Team PB
- Upbeat positive song with guitars! I like the mix between kimi no koto and iiwake, maybe.
Don't get me wrong; the girls and song from Team YJ are both excellent too. Sasshi, Rie, Mocchi and Kasai are among my favorites. I guess I'm just a sucker for YuKicha combi :heart:
Maeda Ami and Kikuchi Ayaka cancel each other out. I'm not a big fan, but I don't dislike them either.

edit 2: Scientific approach. I ranked each team and see which team wins the most duals to decide the team which has the best average. "Risk" style :lol:

Team PB wins XD Too bad each team has only a couple of legal members, making this competition a bit awkward... aw well, I'll just focus on the potential legal goodness :lol:

I like the song more and the lineup just beats PBs for me. Also I love that their first shoot seemed so old idol style somehow...the colours and tones.

I liked team PB outfit than team YJ outfit.. because outfit team PB so cute. :wub:

I liked both, but I liked team YJ song a bit more than team PB.

I liked Weekly Playboy design more than Young Jump design.

Of course, I will choose team PB because Akicha is there. :heart:

Before, I just shrugged it off and and said "Sasshi decides it". But... after giving it some real thought, I think I like Team PB better. That's hard to say because Rie and Sasshi are nothing short of amazing and Rie is a definitely stunner in the mizugi, but... for what this contest is, I'd prefer to see the PB girls win and get all the photos and stuff. Particularly for more Yukirin action and to see more of the surprisingly stunning Akicha. :fap Plus, Team PB is comprised all of girls I like. YJ has two favorites, two I like well enough, and three that vary from indifference to don't like.
Man, this is hard, but... for the sake of the AkiRin/YukiCha pics, I vote for PB. :bleed eyes:
tl;dr I don't really care both teams rock but Team PB has more skin potential.

YJ for me.
Kasai and Harugon, wooo. Pics wise I think it's a pretty obvious win for YJ, barring personal bias. Both of the songs aren't anything to write home about, but I think YJ wins that too. PB's song sounds too formulaic (cue huge debate about idol music) for me; I'm sure you guys agree, since you think it sounds like some other stuff too. And YJ wins for starting with a less cheesy guitar lead.

It's a little bit difficult to choose between these two teams since all my top 5 favourite girls are on both team, PB: Myao, Akicha, Rabutan YJ: Rie and Sasshi.
Well, to be more specific, my top 2 are Myao and Akicha. Thus, I choose team PB. :D
Another reason is I currently would like to see the RabuMyao combination. XD
I haven't heard their songs yet. I'll give a comment on them later.

SaeYukiCha is just awesome. So many ties there. Sae and Yuki became good friends during the musical and Yuki and Akicha are in the same agency now. It would've been cool if there would be a obvious relation between Akicha and Sae. XD

I thought with Yukirin in it, team PlayBoy will be my choice. However I surprised myself after I did a quick, instinctual yes/no pointing system on both teams. Team YoungJump won it for me 5.5 to 3.5! The Miichan-Kasai-Kitarie front line flanked by Harugon and Sasshi is a hard team to beat.

I think I still like the Choose Me! song better and Enkyori Poster seems to be just a cute song but the girls in Team PB still do it for me :drool:

Looks like Team WPB has been kicking ass so far...
The final results should have been announced a few hours earlier, but I've yet to see a blog entry that shows the results just yet.
Edit: Myao blogged that it was indeed Team PB that won.

Correction: Team PB went to Saipan; Team YJ went to the Isu Islands (coincidentally, that's where they shot the PV for Choose me!).

Hi, i was reading through the old blog posts of yukirin and sae..
They mention that team pb's sae, aamin, moeno & yukirin had done a "kimi wa pegasus" performance..
Anyone had any idea where to watch or find this performance video??

There is a chance it will appear on a future DVD magazine though. Or at least clips of it will(probably won't have all the performances from the event)
