Takamina's guitar solo was epic.

The start of the performance gave me middle school band concert flashbacks. The horn section was a little too loud...

Holy Crap! I didn't see this coming! That was fricken awesome!

Actually, I know I throw the word 'awesome' around a lot so I'll say that it was fricken ultra awesome!!

I'd never in my wildest dreams expected to see any of the girls playing an instrument in relation to one of their singles, let alone having a load of them doing it. And mad respect to the girls for learning that. They did sound fairly amateur (I'm not hating so please don't flame me for saying that), but I don't think that matters in this case. To me this is more about breaking away from the usual and the energy in their performance.

I'm also hella curious as to whether any of the girls had prior experience with their instruments (other than Yuko cause I know that she's played bass before).

Oh, and please, please let there be a live band version PV or something like that.

Yuko's played bass, Rena's played trumpet, and Sasshi's played trombone.

Yukirin plays trombone, Mayu plays euphonium, Yui plays drums, and Sayanee was lead guitarist in this kick-ass band Mad Catz, so I'm a little disappointed that we missed out on some really crazy stuff, even if I wouldn't trade guitarist!Takamina for the world. (Although lol, the guitars were pretty horrible. The sound guy was doing his best to mute them.)

I'm trying to identify Maeda's guitar:

I think it's a Gretch - Electromatic Collection - Jet model

But they don't offer one which has the exact same specs, so it's probably an older model... Spec-wise, this is probably the closest:

Only the color (obviously) and inlays are different. ...and there's an extra knob on the lower horn. Crap, I can't find the exact model :/

Takamina's is a Fender Mustang, but again, there are some specs on it that make it stand out. Most notably the matching headstock and racing stripe.

It's probably a Japanese made Mustang (re-issue?) in Competition Red (w/cream stripes):
