女優の伊東美咲（２８）が７月スタートのフジテレビ系月９ドラマ「サプリ」（仮題）に主演することになり２２日、発表された。猛烈に働く仕事人間の役で、月９主演は昨年１０月期の「危険なアネキ」に続き２度目。相手役のＫＡＴ－ＴＵＮの亀梨和也（２０）とは初共演。

原作は漫画誌「フィール・ヤング」に連載中の同名コミック。「仕事はご飯、恋愛は補助食品（サプリ）」という仕事人間のＣＭプランナー、藤井ミナミ（美咲）が、年下のアルバイトの出現で仕事と恋に揺れ動く姿を描く。
「月９は２度目のチャレンジなので思いっきり楽しんで演じたい」と美咲。「『サプリ』は今働く人、これから夢を持って働くすべての方々の背中を押してくれる作品です。ミナミと一緒にみなさんにとって幸せのサプリを探してみませんか！」とコメントした。
一方、年上のヒロインの心をつかむイケメンバイト役の亀梨は「今まで学生服を着ている役が多かったので、今回はどんなキャラクターになっていくのか今からワクワクしています」と“脱学生役”のオトナの演技を約束。「夏場の撮影なのでサプリを摂って頑張りたい」と話している。

I just finished watching the KAT-TUN 2005 Concert - Kaizokuban.
First of all, I must say that the production values for this concert were amazing. It put H!P concerts to shame for sure. And this is a concert for a then undebuted group. Just wow.
Now, where H!P concerts have their song list layed out and just go down the tracklisting, dancing the choreography in pretty outfits, KAT-TUN chose to perform more of their songs in shorter parts, sledged together as large medleys. It was a nice change, for sure. I didn't have to listen to the boring songs for too long.
The concert also had been set up to give each member a full solo to sing (while the duets were limited to the medley). Everyone got to show off their talents in here.
The entire concert was tied from fun to back with the song GOLD (with a balled version bringing up the first part of the rear half). It just felt well done.
Other comments:
-La Ciel is a great song. Want a recorded version.
-Immediately after Koki's solo, they did a sort of introduction rap (think of Joshi Kashimari, but rapped). During this part, Junno got to do some nice dance moves, and then proceed to backflip off of the platform he was on. WOW! Impressed!
-The Junno solo song was kind of lacking (although his voice was great), but the dance was definately cool. He's talented in this category for sure.
-The latin medley was great. Especially when they covered CONGA. Eek!
-I LIKE IT (also on the album) was one of the performances I enjoyed more in the concert. Took note of it, and will listen to the album track more.
-Before Jin finally got into his solo song, he got to dance around and stuff for quite awhile beforehand. But there were production values galore here. Despite not caring for the song, this part made it worth it.
-After Original Blue, the concert "ends" but as usual there is the ENCORE. At this point, they come out in t-shirts and throw stuff to the crowd (signed balls and stuff). Near the beginning of this (while singing Tsuki no Michi) we get some cute Junno moments, as he tries to give his sexy look to the camera. XD That's my brother!
Overall, I really enjoyed the concert! For those who are looking to download, the file up at JPopSuki is rather large, and its all separated and stuff. Fine for burning a DVD to play in your player or whatever, but not that great when you're used to downloading avi files of H!P concerts. I'm going to convert the concert into an avi and encode it to bring down the size and stuff. Put it up on the JPH!P Tracker or something.. because you guys need to check this out!

The Dream Boys 2006 DVD is coming; To be released on June 28, 2006.

It's a two-disc DVD with a run time of 150 minutes. I'm guessing that means a concert of about 1 hour and 40 minutes and a behind the scenes of about 50 minutes?
The concert is a showdown between KAT-TUN and Kanjani8. Finally a reason for the two fandoms to get to check out the other side. The concert will include a bunch of solo songs too, like Akanishi Jin's Amazing Kiss (HA-HA) which he had previously performed an altered version of on Utawara.
Can't wait, myself.

Haha, not all Johnny's concerts get that big budget though. *is a bitter Kanjani8 fan* ROFL I don't care about concert budgets though, since K8 loves Shochikuza (a SMALL theatre in Osaka where they hold concerts ever christmas) and they make it fun without money.
But yes, overall Johnny's concerts are a lot fancier than H!P concerts, but that's not really a surprise since H!P isn't so popular anymore.
I wish I had money for Dream Boys! But 8000yen OH GOD. By the way, Dream Boys is not a concert. It's a musical, that was first "Dream Boy" when Tackey was main actor with Kanjani8 (without Ryo and Uchi) and KAT-TUN. That was released in DVD in 2004. Now it's Dream Boys where Kame and Subaru have the leads. There is a short concert part in the end of it though. And since it's two discs, I guess the other one is extras, making ofs and so on.
Some normal JE concerts *can* be 2 and half hours long too, though!

Thanks for the correction on the Dream Boys DVD, fuyumi. I knew that it was a musical from watching a commercial before, but somehow I just got so excited about getting to see the Akanishi performance that I forgot that important piece of information! lol Should be entertaining nonetheless!

KAT-TUN will be performing a brand new song on the June 11th Utawara. The song is titled SIX SENSES, and is not planned to be released as a single. 600 KAT-TUN fans are supposed to attend, and have been given instructions so they can sing, rap, and dance along with KAT-TUN as they perform.

Some thoughts on the Okakyusama wa Kamisama concert from KAT-TUN!
-Seeing them back in their 2002 forms is really odd. They all look so young!
-Too much skin this time around! They couldn't keep their shirts on!
-Pretty much a totally different set list from the other KAT-TUN concert we had up.
-Lots of KinKi Kids covers and stuff.. it was fun to get to recognize some stuff.
-Some Johnny JRs Representing!! We get to hear what the other groups sound like. Plus some appearances from NewS members like Kusano and Koyama who were in KK Kity at the time.
-KAT-TUN has really grown as a group. Much stronger performers now, but they were still cool back then.
-The childrens songs with the dressing up.. XD Cute, but very, very odd! Junno as the clock for the WIN! XD

Maru performed a beatbox version of Kame's Kizuna on Shounen Club, which was pretty cool, I must say. I was never really a fan of beatboxing, but now I want to learn! XD
Maru then followed that up with a performance of his solo song, Understandable, which was first performed during the spring tour earlier this year.

OK so Chatin's forcing me to write about this LOL.
I FINALLY watched Kat-tun's Live Kaizokuban concert :o Hrmmm unfortunately it didn't really seem like my thing. The songs seemed repetitive, the rapping annoyed me, and even if their dancing is cool I'm not fangirlish enough to get excited about watching it. I liked Kame's hair, Junno's tap dancing and back flip, and those (rare) times when I saw a smile or something I'd call cute on the guys' faces... The pirate ship was pretty nice too, but I dunno, somehow the billions of lights and such failed to really impress me. I didn't really know where to look, kind of like when I saw my first Johnnys "concert". Confusing. Hmm, I just didn't get bitten by the Kat-tun bug. I think they're kind of targeted for an audience who likes tough and cool guys, but I like nice guys better :o
I know my aim was to try to love everyone in Johnnys, but hmm. Maybe I can still like the guys as individuals and just ignore the fact they're in Kat-tun :? I don't really have a problem with the guys, I just don't like the rapping and the tough image. BLAH BLAH
I like Junno because I saw him look a bit awkward at times and I found that cute. Lol.

A new "scandal" for Ueda. Supposedly Ueda has recorded a sex tape with another male. The pictures and some footage are all over the net, like 2ch and LJ, etc. A lot of people are arguing this is not Ueda, but it will be interesting to see if Johnny chooses to respond to this and how it's done.

I'm admittedly not a big fan of Ueda Tatsuya simply coz he's one of those guys whom the mere sight of him makes me just want to reach out and give him a tight stinging SLAP across the face. >_< ( Another one such example of men that I'm just itching to slap is ex-ManU's Christiano Ronaldo so Ueda's in pretty good company really. :P )

Unfortunately, a lot of footage we had already seen in the Docomo commercials, but I guess that is something we can put up with. The guys all looked rather good. Even Ueda didn't look too rodent-y this time around. The "breaking down" portion of the choreography I was fine with them just doing whatever they wanted, but there were some points early on where I wish the dance was actually choreographed. In fact, we didn't get to see too much dancing in the PV, which disappointed me a bit.
However, this one goes above Real Face in the idea that you can actually see the guys this time. I had a hell of a time trying to point out Junno to people in the Real Face PV with all the shadows and quick, bad shots. :P

I don't think we're the type of shallow fans who watch a drama just because our favorites happen to be in it. :roll:
I'm waiting for someone to tell me if Sapuri is worth watching or if it sucks before I bother downloading anything. And even then it might not be that interesting and some fans might just say it's good because it has lots of Kame.
That happened when I decided to watch Kurosagi. People said it was great, so I dled one ep and was bored to death. YamaP's good looks could not salvage me. xD I'm in the middle of Nobuta now too (which is actually pretty good despite it having my 2 least fav JE), so no point in me starting something else just yet...
:D Unless that something else has Ryo or Ninomiya in it.

On Sapuri, I enjoyed the first episode a lot. Some people didn't, but that's them. And I didn't enjoy it for Kame. He's actually dropping on my favorite list lately. Misako Ito looks absolutely lovely in the show, and the scenario of them working in a company that produces commercials.. I like it. XD
I'd recommend Sapuri, for sure.

And YamaP, I didn't like him much. Maybe that's because I have that image of him with that really ugly red/brown hair with the bright blonde highlights and big eyebags stuck in my head xD and he wasn't exactly the most interesting person to boot. But Kurosagi YamaP is quite yummi, and his solo appearance on Hey!x3 was pretty funny (albeit mostly because of the hosts).
And his character in Nobuta, how could you not fall in love with that? As for the kid, I don't even know who the heck he is. :lol: But he's cute I guess.

The PINKY scans were definately the most interesting. I have to wonder what was going on with Ueda's clothes flying off, though! :sweatdrop: And Junno gives the strangest expressions! I think he learned that one from his cousin!!

I had previously read that Bakanishi Jin was sick in the studio on the day of recording (or the first day.. I don't know) and that they had a recording of him coughing, and they used it.
However, I can't back up the validity of that. I'm sure it's in some magazine scan that none of us translated. :sweatdrop:

Hopefully I'm not the only one who's in the process of watching that 24hour TV marathon thingy xD
Aside from most of it's boring parts, there were a few good things. Like when Koki went to go take care of that little boy with the muscular disease xD He was so good with the kid, and it was so adorable lmao. They played soccer and swam in the pool, man he'll make a great papa one day.
I'd have to say though that the best part was when Koki was giving the little kid a bath, and the kid goes, "Chinchin misete!" and Koki was like, "Okay, I'll let you have a look." :lol: xD The audience roffled when it happened too.

So... I hear Akanishi's going on hiatus from October till January, and that he may even continue on an indefinite hiatus after that one? Something about him going abroad to study in Spain.

KAT-TUN loses it's A for a while... or maybe forever. Akanishi Jin leaves the group to go study in another country. JE is not officially reporting it as a graduation but as a break Jin wanted to do. According to the press note sent to the media, Jin will stay away from the group for six months. In college language, six months is a semester, exactly the amount time that subjects and exams last in a private university. Jin confessed early this year his wish to come to Spain. Could this one be the chosen county? Of course JE does not say where is he going. Have a safe trip, Jin!
That said, some gossip tabloids are already smelling a covered scandal just catch in time before exploding. So far, KAT-TUN last single will be Pure One on sale Nov 1st. Jin is not on it, and he did not attend the recording, that was done time ago, before his break was told to the press. Some voices say JE was threatened for the very first time. JE is a powerful group that has covered very well his scandals of underage drinking (reason why NEWS is on hiatus) and press did not make a big stuff of it. But this time it looks like something else is involved: a girl. Rumors of Jin being with a girlfriend are nothing new. However, the last thing JE wants in this world is their boys to be paired up. Some tablids see here a reason why Jin leaves.

But ack x_x if there's no Jin on this single, then that means someone else has to get more lines. lol Yeah, he was going to a school in Korean Town (did I get that right? I don't live in LA xD) where they teach you english so that you can apply or be able to go to english speaking universities.
But I heard he already dropped out, because since most of the students at that school were Japanese HS students, they were all freaking out over the fact that Jin was in their class and junk like that. They're looking for a new place for him to study now.
So I guess in the meantime, he's just partying it up.

Johnny to remove Akanishi from KAT-TUN

KAT-TUN's Jin Akanishi (26) will officially graduate from the group later this year, it has been announced. KAT-TUN held a concert at the Tokyo Dome on Friday night, and Johnny's Jimusho president Johnny Kitagawa spoke to the press there on the same day. He said that the final decision will be made after Akanishi's U.S. tour this fall, but at this point it appears to already be guaranteed. Since May, Akanishi has been in the United States, working on his solo career. He performed concerts in Los Angeles in June, and he has scheduled a 7-city tour for September and October. Kitagawa also revealed that Akanishi is already planning further concerts for 2011. Meanwhile, KAT-TUN has been continuing as a 5-member group, just as they did when Akanishi temporarily left in 2006 to study abroad.
Kitagawa explained that right now, the focus is only on Akanishi becoming successful in the U.S. He said that it would be too soft on Akanishi to let him return to KAT-TUN as a fallback if he doesn't succeed. It would also be unforgivable to KAT-TUN fans to have Akanishi dragging the group on, or returning the same way he did in 2007. Kitagawa once again assured fans that KAT-TUN is not breaking up. Although the group's name is based on the initial characters of the members' names, it is said that Akanishi's "A" will be replaced by extending Kazuya Kamenashi's "K" to "KA." There are no plans to bring in a new member, as Kitagawa stated that there is no need to have six people in the group. He said that the five remaining members are currently doing fine without Akanishi.

Before his concert on Sunday, Jin Akanishi held a press conference to talk about his upcoming U.S. plans. He announced that his debut U.S. single will be a collaboration with singer-songwriter Jason Derulo, produced by J. R. Rotem.
Akanishi said that he plans to release a full album this fall, and one of the songs will be a collaboration written by Derulo. The song is still being worked on, but he indicated that it would be a pop tune.
Derulo debuted in 2009 with the hit song "Whatcha Say," which was also produced by Rotem. Rotem also produced his later songs, such as "In My Head" and "Ridin' Solo."
Besides the news of his single, Akanishi announced that he will release a DVD of his current tour on May 4, titled "Yellow Gold Tour 3011."

KAT-TUN to host new variety show

KAT-TUN will host a new variety show on NTV, their first since “Cartoon KAT-TUN” ended in March 2010. The new show is tentatively titled “KAT-TUN no Zettai Manetaku Naru TV” and will have the members of KAT-TUN presenting people “you will want to imitate” and various goods, aiming to create new trends.
It seems that the members will be in charge of different areas based on their interests. For example, Kamenashi Kazuya will cover food and sports-related topics, Tanaka Koki will deal with music and recent hot spots, and Nakamaru Yuichi will handle new products and daily living.
Three guests on the show will determine which members presented something that “you would not want to imitate,” and those members will have to participate in a penalty game, possibly drawing on other recent trends.
Taguchi Junnosuke commented, “Our concerts got postponed this year, so the five of us were only able to release CDs, so I’m very happy that we are able to work together on something.” KAT-TUN has been a five-member group since last July, when Akanishi Jin officially left to pursue a solo career.
“KAT-TUN no Zettai Manetaku Naru TV” will air on Tuesday nights from 11:58pm to 12:29am, starting on October 18.

On October 9th, Johnny & Associates, Inc. announced the cancellation of their exclusive contract with KAT-TUN's Tanaka Koki as of September 30. Therefore, KAT-TUN is now a 4-member group.
Below is the translation for the announcement posted on Johnny's net website.
"We have decided to cancel our exclusive contract with KAT-TUN's Tanaka Koki as of September 30th, due to his repeated violation of the company rules. KAT-TUN will continue their activities with 4 members after Tanaka's withdrawal, so we would like to ask the fans for your support as you have done until now.

Former KAT-TUN member and then solo artist Akanishi Jin has just announced on Twitter that he has left his agency Johnny's & Associates. He tweeted the following message in both Japanese and English:I, Jin Akanishi, have come to an agreement with Johnny's & Associates, Inc. not to continue our contract that expired on 02/28/2014. I have the utmost gratitude for everyone I have worked with and the experiences I've had. To my fans and everyone who has supported me thus far, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We have agreed to this decision so that I may follow my dream of putting as much energy into my global career as I have here in Japan. I will do everything I can to make new memories with all my supporters, I'm looking forward to sharing my dream with all of you!

Akanishi has always had a strong interest in developing his career abroad. After leaving KAT-TUN in 2006, he left to study English in Los Angeles. However, soon after, he caused trouble by reporting his marriage to actress Kuroki Meisa, after it actually happened, to his agency.
Since then, his viewpoints have been diverging from that of the agency's. As of now, Akanishi's page on Johnny's net as well as official fan site Johnny's web have not been updated to reflect this change.

On November 24, KAT-TUN member Taguchi Junnosuke announced that he will be leaving the group and Johnny & Associates, Inc. next spring.
He made the announcement at the group's live performance for NTV's special music program "Best Artist 2015."
Right before KAT-TUN's performance, Taguchi stated, "I'm sorry for this sudden announcement, but I have an announcement to make. I, Taguchi Junnosuke, will be leaving KAT-TUN next spring, and also from Johnny & Associates."
While big screams were breaking out in the audience, he continued, "As I'm almost 30 years old, I considered the way of my life in the future, and I have chosen my way, though I'm really sorry for the members. To you fans who have been supporting me until now, and all the people concerned, I am very grateful. Thank you very much."
Then, a fellow member Kamenashi Kazuya took the microphone, and said, "First of all, we are really sorry for this sudden announcement. Also, as this is not the first time for a thing like this to happen to our group, I feel really terrible to people involved and you fans for causing much trouble and worry. We are sorry."
Kamenashi also apologized to the NTV, the program's staff, and other artists who appeared on the program, as well as the viewers.
On the same day, Johnny & Associates, Inc. also released a comment on their official site, "We have agreed that our company and KAT-TUN member Taguchi Junnosuke would not renew the contract. Making this announcement at this timing which is about to be the group's 10th anniversary year, we apologize heartily to the fans who are supporting. We also want to apologize to people involved for all the troubles we have caused."
Regarding the timing for Taguchi's withdrawal, the statement wrote, "We will decide when would be the right timing on the program he makes a regular appearance, to have the least impact."
They also mentioned KAT-TUN's future activities, "We are not planning to disband the group, but we will make another announcement at a later date regarding their future activities after discussing the best course of action for the rest of the members."
KAT-TUN was formed as a 6-member group, and made their major debut back in 2006. They have had 2 members withdraw in the past; Akanishi Jin (in July 2010) and Tanaka Koki (in September 2013).
