AKB48 41st single song "Halloween Night" (ハロウィン･ナイト) was revealed at TV show THE MUSIC DAY special at 4 July 2015, all members are dressed in Halloween monster costumes for the song.

I cant give more comment because i just played haloween night twice.
But i love bokutachiwa more,  or because there is no haruna in this single? LOL
But i like when the cameraman shot yukirin more often.
And the costumes were so good..
I will playback again and again, who know i will love this song like KFC hehe

On July 4th, AKB48 appeared on NTV's special live music program "THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku wa Taiyou da.", and performed their upcoming song for the very first time.

The new song is entitled "Halloween Night", and HKT48's Sashihara Rino who won the recent general election, serves as the center.
It is a disco style song, and as the title says, the members do cosplay, dressing like a bat, cat, vampire, or princess, etc.

Just like "Koisuru Fortune Cookie" (released in August 2013) the song which was Sashihara first time as center, Papaya Suzuki was in charge of the choreography for this new song as well.

AKB48's 41st single "Halloween Night" will be released with Type A, B, C, and D on August 26.

July 30, 2015

AKB48 have revealed the short PV for their 41st single "Halloween Night" (August 26 release).

In association with the song's title, the top 16 members of the '7th AKB48 General Election' do Halloween cosplay. Each of the members had to wear special makeup to complete their look.

The PV was directed by Seki Kabuki, who has worked on PVs for well-known artists. The makeup was done by JIRO, one of the top 10 notable artists in the world for 'Make-up Artist Magazine'. For some members, it took about 8 hours to perfect the makeup.

In the PV, the members time slip into the golden age of disco. The shoot took about 2 days recruiting people who danced disco during the '70s and '80s as extras. Papaya Suzuki, who was in charge of the dance for "Koisuru Fortune Cookie" (released August 2013), choreographed the dance for this song.

The selection is quite wide for the songs and better than last year IMHO (kill me because I wasn't a big fan for many of them)

The Next Girls vid was awesome and the rest were okay, it complemented the songs well.

Although the Bon Odori song, I've heard enough of that for the summer XD

The one where they are wearing yukata is nice. 

The one with Haruppi's nose is distracting...

The Chihiro one started quite stylish, but for some reason I thought she was going to be naked.

Not sure why Suuchan was getting married, but it was nice to see, reminded me of old AKB.

Seems like this single will be their first vinyl release - exclusive to HMV, I think it's a 12" (with just the A side and the B side will be the off-vocal) and will have the Ltd Ed Type A and B artwork on each side of the jacket.

The Senbatsu members for "Halloween Night" were the top 16 girls from the group's '7th general election' which was held back in June, and the center was served by HKT48's Sashihara Rino who grabbed No.1 position in the election.

The first day sales for this single is the 4th highest when comparing all AKB48 singles. The best first day sales -- 1,472,000 copies -- was made with their 40th single "Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai" (released in May) which included a voting ticket to this year's election.
