As you may have heard, Sayumi Michishige is graduating Morning Musume at the end of their fall tour this year. This is huge. Those who have paid attention to Sayumi will know of her hard work and dedication in promoting the group even through harder times, even sacrificing her own likeability on television shows to bring more attention to the group.

I think Sayu deserves a special thread for celebrating her journey in Morning Musume.

Please use this thread to post your favourite Sayumi pictures, videos, songs, anything. This thread shall remain here until her graduation.

I never considering myself a fan.. I always had my doubts about Sayu.
Especially at the nine smile concert when she was going to have her solo with Aruiteru and I love that song
I was like "nah man she can't do it"

but the thing that made me like her was the she prove me wrong..
and I wanted her to prove me wrong and she did
I love that performance and it was all Sayu

Sayu is brilliant and amazing and everything put together. She's an idol of idols. Deserves her own category.

I wonder who in Morning Musume will take over the moans, grunts, speaking parts and the like when Sayu goes. Mizuki seems to be in the running for that position but I think her voice is lacking in that "stickiness" if-you-know-what-I'm-saying. In Filipino, we say "lagkit". I have no idea how to translate it properly but yeah. Sayu's voice has that like in this performance:

It's sexy and cute and... goes with her "chara" like how it did with Rika/Charmy.

But yeah whoa that's so old and she was so young, you can tell she's grown a lot since those days

I want something like this for current MM so bad... I mean everything else aside, can you just imagine how random Maachan would be? Either she'd spend the time napping or be all over the place.

I think that this is this first time I ever saw Sayu -- the Hello Morning Mini Moni special.
And that girl who was making mango jelly w/ papaya in the opening segment, I had no idea who she was too.
