Him praising her is definitely a bonus, because it might lead to future collaborations with him, and perhaps it might draw more attention from other quarters as well. A possible future as an actress is certainly not far away if that's the case. At least she'll still be around in the entertainment world in the event of...you-know-what. >.>;
I do find it strangely ironic that she was being praised for how she portrayed the pain of the character she was dubbing. The first thing that popped to mind was the thought about how emo she already is in real life, so it wouldn't have been that much trouble.
That also leads to another conclusion I've drawn from all the fics I've written starring her. No matter what she might actually be in real life, there's just something about her that remains a blank slate, that can be easily rewritten into anything you choose. It's kind of creepy and awesome depending on the context, but yeah...that part of her where the producer said...I can understand what it means to have Ai
become the character, yet remaining herself. A singularity that is anything and everything. Hm. Interesting.
