Just a heads-up...

I noticed the other day that the two Crayon Pop releases on US iTunes (Dancing Queen and Bar Bar Bar) had been removed. But today they were re-posted on the iTunes store by Sony Music Korea along with Crayon Pop's first mini album (which was not on US iTunes before as far as I know -- so grab it if you already haven't).

If it's available in your country here's BarBarBar 2.0. At the moment can't watch it in the U.S. I had to use a proxy to see it

I like the original MV better. They used some gangnam style scenes like the yoga thing and the elevator scene

. I feel like that was Sony's doing

but who knows.

The new sound mix is inferior to the original... the Gangnam Style parody is half-assed, and yeah, the original MV is actually better in all its cheap glory.

This just seems kinda... pointless.

I agree with the general consensus that the "global version" of Bar Bar Bar is inferior. It just seems like...pandering?...to the original's viral popularity that the new version puts the "jumping" chorus smack-dab at the beginning of the song now. Like, "who cares about the song, you want to see that crazy dance, right?" And the Gangnam Style stuff was just plain weird.

I know they want to strike while the iron is still hot, but this seems a little short-sighted.

I reupped this vid because I couldn't find a working streaming link. I remember MBC blocking the vid on Crayon Pop's channel when it did come out so maybe it's new to some of you guys
