Everyone.

Today is the announcement day for the senbatsu election.

Anxious since the morning,
I wasn't able to sleep last night...
Reflecting on it, it was probably because I had an afternoon nap
..Alright that was a lie..(つω`)

Until the actual announcements began,
I was anxious
and couldn't calm down.

"Even if things go bad,
I'll keep going without worrying about it!"
While thinking that, the announcements began.

One by one names were called,
and as the number of votes began to grow,
I felt like I was becoming smaller and smaller.

"Is it hopeless.
Is it hopeless......"

During which,
my name was called...

And without thinking, I did a fist pump.

I was extremely happy.

On the stage that I wasn't able to stand on last year,
I am standing on it now.
The microphone given for a speech last year,
I am holding it now.
The spotlight that didn't shine on me last year,
it is shining on me now.

Every little thing I engraved into my memory.

During the autograph and handshake events,
I received warm comments from so many people.

Frankly there was a time where I was so happy that my tears began to overflow but,
today, rather than tears,
the warmth of everyone's support overtook me.

Thank you for letting me stand on that stage.

I am really, really happy.

In the theater, at Tokyo Tower, even in this blog,
thanks for supporting me.

Up until now,
in work or in my normal life,
even if something were to occur,
whenever I see everyone's warm comments,
I become relieved.

My manager also reads the blog comments,
and so on the entry about the mid-way results,
"I thought 'Umeda, you're probably crying now after reading the fans' posts'. The fans are kind aren't they"

That's exactly it.
Everyone is kind and gentle.
