UP-FRONT announces changes to their Youtube programs

Announced on the most recent episode of Hello! Project Station and on the Hello! Project website, UP-FRONT is making a number of changes to their line-up of Youtube programs starting this August.

Both Hello! Project Station and Upcoming will no longer be presented in their 1 hour format. Instead individual segments will be presented on their own. This is to better accommodate actual viewing habits.

Hello! Project Station segments will remain dedicated to H!P videos, performances, behind the scenes,… Upcoming segments also will remain dedicated to recording videos, round table discussions, live videos, and will feature artists from the entire UP-FRONT group.

tiny tiny will retain its original format, but will be published on Friday at 19:00 (JST) going forward.

In addition a new Omake channel has been launched which will feature all kinds of short fun bonus clips.

The Azabukouei Bldg in Tokyo, which is HQ of Up-Front Group, was sold for 8233 million yen by the buildings owner the Takashimaya Department Stores 2 months ago. It's not known who they sold it to

We have also seen plenty of new H!P members arriving for auditions in front of the building over the years. It's a building that is very much a part of the history of Hello! Project, just like Nakano Sunplaza.

The building is now 18 years old, which for Tokyo is an age where the owners will start to think about redevelopment. This kind of transactions are often followed by announcements of demolition and a new construction project.

So there is a possibility that Up-Front will
soon have to move office. Unless UFG bought the building of course, but even then they could still decide to do a redevelopment and earn some money by adding rentable office space or residences.
