[03/24-03/31] Morning Musume Fanclub Tour in Hawaii 2010

Tour started yesterday but it seems like MM is coming in today ^^; I can't help but be stoked... is this your first time going out for cultural analysis of stars and tourist idols nearby  (or castin' as I like to call it, since I don't like to say stalking to people who don't understand this stuff)? I only remember a couple other people who were around the forums last time.

@Sab, I think Magic Island might be out for the weekend because of the family fair this weekend so maybe outside of the area might be possible

I was just told that Aaron Yamasato (The "Blood of the Samurai" dude) posted on his Facebook that he "just interviewed Morning Musume."

Sheesh THIS dude has access!  Why not us?

I suspect his gig with Oceanic Cable or OC16 is a factor. 

Whatever.  I saw him at a HIFF midnight screening of "Sukeban Deka" a few years ago.  Me and my friends poked fun at him.  I thought to myself, does he REALLY "get it" about this movie or is he here just for the Japanese pop culture vibe?

Hmm I am not sure of the hotel, because many are quite similar, and by the surroundings I would guess Sheraton Waikiki but I haven't gone to a buffet at a hotel in a while

I'd like to see detail in those pics but I still say it's the Hawaii Prince and that they're eating at the Prince Court restaurant.

He guys, back from a whirlwind of awesome (sorta) so let me give you the low down:

Their activity for stamp finding (like berryz and cute before) lead them to the zoo where the guys from local show Doko Ga TV were filming. (I got kicked out before that but the hyakupa guys were in).

Yah it was the prince hotel and the prince court restaurant apparently a wota found out too and went there...lol. I figured it out too but sometimes you just gotta know your boundries

They were performing at UH for the live. Heard the sound check, had to hide but saw most of the show.

The store is open today (Sunday) for the D/E course people who came in on the first day the store was open and missed it I don't knowwhen it opens but till 2pm. It's the last day so if anything thats' teh time we can ask to go in if you like.

hmm UH for the live was pretty much my first guess for the live because of all the events happening this weekend and thanks for filling in with all the details and I think it supports Sab's story about the OC16 thing, maybe....

UH?  For a concert?  Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

And if Yamasato is a fan of Hello Project then the end of the world is near.  And I have to get on some other bandwagon.  Sheesh, next thing you know he'll be kissing ass to get close to Domoto Tsuyoshi when he does one of his tapings in town.

I can think of several reasons why they used UH though.

1. There was a craftfair around Waikiki Shell, with them using the parking lot (that would mean a lot of random passersby and a lot more security work.

2. There were on around 300 peoples (hyakupa peoples who I hung out with said it was 299), which is a small enough venue to go there and fit everyone with good accoustics.

3. The people were small so it saves money.

4. They possibly have deals with the people they used at UH since they used them twice before for the smaller FC tours(Berryz and C-ute).

About the Doko Ga TV they were filming the concert tour to show on OC16 and to Japan sometime in the future. Some FC member groups even got interviewed. I don't think it had anything to do with someone being a fan...lol. Nice try though.
