[16:31] <PKristen> I bought all of the OG IY stuff on Hello Store USA but not the t-shirts
[16:31] <PKristen> I only wanted the pics and didn't think paying $40+ each set was worth it
[16:31] <PKristen> when I arrived at the event though, I noticed how many peeps were wearing shirts of their fav girls
[16:31] <PKristen> and sooooo.....
[16:31] <PKristen> I stood in the merch line, didn't get to the front table until about 15 mins before
[16:32] <PKristen> I bought all sorts of goods AND the IY T-shirt set
[16:32] <PKristen> thanks to having lockers nearby (love JP efficiency) I crammed my stuff and opened up Y's t-shirt set
[16:32] <PKristen> I put on her shirt for the concert but wore both wrist bands
[16:33] <PKristen> and then I wore R's t-shirt for the evening concert
[16:33] <PKristen> I looked retarded
[16:33] <kimuuu> I LOL'd IRL
[16:33] <PKristen> I wanted to take a pic to preserve the moment but I couldn't
[16:33] <kimuuu> but you blended in
[16:33] <PKristen> well, I was more interested in seeing what type of peeps were wearing which shirts
[16:33] <PKristen> so in the women's section: Y was number one (of course)
[16:33] <PKristen> then Mai, and then Rika
[16:33] <kimuuu> no doubt
[16:34] <kimuuu> Mai? Interesting.
[16:34] <PKristen> yeah, that surprised me
[16:34] <PKristen> I knew she was popular but I didn't know the fan base
[16:34] <PKristen> and I was also surprised at the number of women in R shirts
[16:35] <PKristen> among the men, I saw the most Y shirts
[16:35] <PKristen> and then a significant number of R and K
[16:35] <kimuuu>
[16:35] <PKristen> (they labeled that the XL-size shirts for M and K were sold out before I got there)
[16:35] <PKristen> oh, and Y too
[16:36] <PKristen> but it could be a case of under realizing the demand and not bringing enough. of course, R is also going to have the most merch
[16:36] <PKristen> in terms of qty
[16:36] <PKristen> but the younger ones had their fans too
[16:36] <PKristen> sprinkled around
[16:36] <PKristen> but to a couple of tidbits from the concert
[16:37] <PKristen> from the women's section, I was actually able to see the concert very well, at least up to their waist when they were all standing at the
front of the stage
[16:37] <PKristen> well, in the opening numbers, that were really high-powered and energetic, I SWEAR Y slipped for a moment
[16:37] <PKristen> 'cuz they were all standing at the front and then she disappeared for an instant
[16:38] <PKristen> and then was back, but laughing her ass off and looking around
[16:38] <kimuuu> O_O
[16:38] <kimuuu> aw, poor Yossy!
[16:38] <PKristen> but since the others kept dancing, she got back into the number (like the pro she is)
[16:38] <PKristen> since they focused filming on this concert, I'm wondering if they'll keep it in the DVD
[16:38] <kimuuu> ooh
[16:39] <PKristen> so of course, while I like to do equal IY viewing, I had to admit I kept more of an eye on Y to see if she does anything else....

[16:39] <PKristen> but not as funny and noticeable as the others
[16:40] <PKristen> another moment that was in the evening MC (and may not have been filmed for the DVD) is when IY were talking to one of the younger ones
[16:41] <PKristen> so they were doing the teasing Mom and Dad routine to the one in the middle (sorry, I don't remember which one, but not Kore)
[16:41] <PKristen> well, then Y started talking about diving (glad I was able to pick up some words)
[16:41] <PKristen> and she said something was "KAWAII!" but had this total hand wave of a gay man saying "Darling!"

[16:42] <PKristen> and R immedately said "Wait a minute!" and imitated her
[16:42] <PKristen> I laughed my ass off
[16:42] <PKristen> I don't think the other wotas appreciated it as much though
[16:42] <kimuuu>

[16:42] <kimuuu> I'd love to see that
[16:42] <PKristen> yeah, R was on top form that day
[16:43] <PKristen> the nice thing about being able to watch whoever I wanted (when I could actually see them) was seeing things that probably would not be
chosen for the DVD
[16:43] <kimuuu> exactly
[16:43] <PKristen> I watched R's face a lot and she was just smiling and having a great time. they all were, it was clear
[16:43] <PKristen> I'm totally commited to going to the next OG concert
[16:44] <PKristen> it's like H&A is great and I want them to succeed.
[16:44] <PKristen> but OG is where they really get to be IY, and the fans know and love it
[16:44] <PKristen> instead of these pseudo chara's
[16:44] <kimuuu> aww
[16:44] <PKristen> plus, it was fun to actually be able to dance to all of the songs I knew
[16:44] <kimuuu> LOL!
[16:44] <PKristen> no chance of a US club going to play that music
[16:45] <kimuuu> hell no
[16:45] <PKristen> but yeah, wotas totally CANNOT dance
[16:45] <kimuuu> ...no
[16:45] <PKristen> ... but then I thought about it, and realized they aren't meant to
[16:45] <PKristen> otherwise, they wouldn't be wotas
[16:45] <PKristen> and without them, the girls would not be where they are
[16:46] <kimuuu> very true
