I have to admit, I started suspecting that [SPOILERS]Shroud was going to be Philip/Wakana/Saeko's mother[/SPOILERS] a little bit after she gave Terui the Trial Memory. It was starting to be strongly implied (at least IMO it was) that she had a "personal" stake in how things were going; the way that she was telling Philip a few eps back about how Shotarou wasn't a "good match" for him also kind of made me start to wonder "well, how come?"

@L - were there any other Garo specials aside from Beast of the White Night? First time I heard about Beast of the Midnight Sun.

I'm guessing Midnight Sun and White Night refer to the same 2episode special. Just the 白夜 being translated differently.
More basically put, it's the one where the 3rd 'white' makai knight shows up.

There was also a gaiden episode.
But I honestly don't remember what that was about anymore, probably meaing it was really boring.

The Gaiden was the one where Kaori was running around in a theater and met Zaruba and Silva in their human forms, the 3 loliloli girls/watchdogs and Kodama who was talking in English

Not sure why it was given a different title.
I've never seen that Gaiden before, and now I'm interested in wanting to watch it, but I wonder if I can still find a download for it.

They got permission from TV-N to upload the Garo eps. in MU. I think the Gaiden is also available in TV-N's tracker, included in the Garo batches.

Saeko is friggin' hot! Anyone got any more info on her? O_O
