Garo S3 ep7 pretty much sums up why I love this franchise a lot:
(just when you thought the good guys are done ironing things out and saving the day, something totally unexpected happens and people die wtf)

Yeah, around ep 4 I was thinking..."she'll probably make a great boss pawn cos all female leads who aren't Makai Priests usually get used by the enemy" (see S1: Kaoru

). And then ep 5 happened. orz Cue me thinking... "that was quick". Would have liked them to build up to it a little more though...

Wow, Zaruba was right about the new knights being babies. Episode 9 has got to be the worst Makai Knight beatdown in Garo history. Makes me wonder if the new guys are underqualified and didn't get the same training as the previous knights or are new horrors are really that strong. It's most likely both, since they were even having some trouble with some of the horrors in the earlier eps.

It seems that the Madou items are essential in building a knight's character. Takeru doesn't have one while Ryuga didn't have a contract with Zaruba. Giving Kouga those scary visions when he was younger must've given him a strong backbone.

I prefer the old Garo, rather than the new 'blacky' one. Kouga is WAY better than Ryuuga

^ Me too. It is getting vaguely more interesting but I still hated how we didn't get any explanation. On TVN they reckon they'll explain it later. I think Junya Ikeda should have been the main guy, although even him I prefered as Gai.

With Kouga his morals were clear whereas Ryuga just acts like an ass!
