Like you said, I was guessing the "druggie look" might be a side effect of using/implanting the GaiaMemory directly into one's body so much. Shoutarou & Phillip use the belt, which could, in theory act like a buffer of sorts, which could mean they wouldn't suffer similar effects (or at least not look so bad).

K, I know I said that I would NOT be doing the episode batches with W that I did with DCD, and I do plan on sticking to that. However, 1st ep, first henshins...couldn't really pass them up now, could I?

Now for the GIF on the left, I would have really liked to have included the part right before the henshin where Phillip and Shoutarou stand up on the staircase (where the latter is screaming) and hold up the GaiaMemories, however I had to drop it because all the dusty-windy-smoky effects made the final GIF look like utter shyte.

I rather like the whole USB concept going on here. Plus the rider design is kind of old school, if you discount the half-and-half concept they threw in there as well. Lol.

Well, most of the heisei Riders seem to be bishie. I think that it might even be a requirement now when you audition.

Since I'm a girl, I don't mind the the odd bishie once in a while. However, it gets annoying when most of them are bishies. >_> Takes the fun out of it.

Plus, some of them just look wimpy. *coughRyotarocough*

I rather like Philip though. He's such a little boy, getting excited over Takoyaki.

He seems to like learning about stuff, so he gets points with me.

Something I realized recently. In Double, the girl who plays Wakana, the younger daughter in the dopant family is played by Asuka Rin, who we previously saw in the role of "Akira" in K-Tai Sousakan 7!

It's official, I'm fanboying over over one of the "baddies" instead of the "good guy" female lead (i.e. Akiko) whom I'm starting to see more as a "comic relief" character.
