Yes I have watched it, and I must say it is one of the better Super Sentai shows that I have seen. When you watch the entire series, you see that there are story arcs that span multiple episodes, which makes it a lot more interesting in my opinion. It is done rather smartly, and it's also not too campy/childish in how it is done, which is another good point for me.

From the helmet down, the costume design is very reminiscent of ShinkenRed when he wears the mantle that he gets when in "Hyper" mode.

^Most new Kamen Riders normally just start with a clean slate with their own independent beginning, storyline and world.

Off the top of my head, there are some linked seasons though. Like the earliest KR1 and 2, both were implanted with cyborg tech from the evil organization Shocker but were able to get away and then fight back.

Yeah. But that felt more like an easter egg for fans, it doesn't affect the stories/characters of the 2 series so far.
It's hard enough right now just guessing what the Kougami Foundation actually is.

Although I like this guess.

Actually all the Showa era Kamen Riders are technically set in the same universe. It's only the Heisei riders that start with clean slates (except for Kuuga -> Agito). And of course, W and OOO.

Actually, the link in common is Foundation X, because towards the end of W, one of the agents of Foundation X pulls up info on both the Gaia Memory "investment" and the "Cell Medal" project that was basically the basis of OOO. Unless Kougami Foundation = Foundation X, which I highly doubt... It's more likely that Foundation X is backing Kougami Foundation in the Cell/Core Medal research, the same way they backed Museum in W for Gaia Memory research. They're kind of like Evil Investment Inc. Lol.

Also, for linked riders...there's always Decade for some serious continuity breaking.

After all, he's the Kamen Rider who's always just "passing through".

evil societies outsourcing. what is this world coming to.

Although it would be great if they really did flesh out the relation, like finding a big umbrella corporation, and have an excuse for W/Accel to guest in 2-3 of the last episodes for a TV team up.
