The first sign of actual rivalry among the groups!
N46 is taking on Sashihara Rino - 1st Single "Soredemo Suki da yo" (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=31606.0) on Aki-P's birthday! :lol:

Can N46 match their sales from Guru Guru Curtain: 136,309
If so, will Sasshi be able to beat Mayu's Synchro Tokimeki: 123,237

Actually, this is properly interesting. A number of scenarios:
- Sasshi fans will buy Sasshi's single, which might lead to less votes for Sasshi in the senbatsu election (since they might overspend on Sasshi's single, instead of the AKB48 single with the voting ticket).
- People who normally would've picked up N46's single, may opt for Sasshi instead causing N46's sales to drop.
- Sasshi's Muse no Kagami will have ended by then, but I doubt that will cause her any sales.
I think this could be really close!

The choreography is hilarious! I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not but at least makes the performance enjoyable.
I'm not a fan of their outfits though.

Choreography: great
Outfits: At least it's different from AKB48's and it's similar to the ones in their first single. However, not really feeling it.
Covers: bit different, bit random, I like they look a bit casual
But the big question is, will all this be enough to outsell Sashihara Rino - 1st Single "Soredemo Suki da yo" (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=31606.0)?

Unless N46 adds another awesome AKB48 cover/remix, I think Sasshi is going to outsell them this time. Since the groups are supposed to be rivals, I think people who casually bought Guru Guru may opt for Sasshi instead... We'll see! What do you think?

Hmmmm.... The song seems catchy enough, but I agree, the choreography seemed a little strange.
I look forward to the PV, that always makes such a difference to me when listening to the song.
But I like these girls, and will definately follow with interest

But I don't think it's a dance that can be appealing when performed live. You don't want to see girls just hugging each other every time it's the chorus. But of course, this is my own taste speaking. :nervous
Outfits are like Guru Guru Curtain's. The style is far from the costumes of the 48 groups. Not bad, but not something I'll dig.
Since the song is pretty much about taking a bath, I'm looking forward to a PV preview. The covers don't seem to make a relevance though :?

They will change the part of the choreography that they raise the skirt to the face in the lives of Oide shampoo.
I thought it very good, after all this part of the dance was ridiculous... :smhid

I don't know if it's okay to be saying this, but I felt really weird when the girls hug each other from behind and moved back and forth... The skirt lifting part is also weird, more like awkward, to me.
If there would be anything I would dislike about this group then it must be the outfit they wear.

Guuzen wo Iiwake ni Shite is cute. Takayama Kazumi = ♥
Mizutama Moyou is nice, but yeah... her voice is still pretty green. There is a nice sound to it in general, though.
Ookami ni Kuchibue wo sounds like a really good Idoling!!! song. I like it. :lol:

Mizutama Moyou: not really feeling this. Not even the singing, but the entire song isn't that good somehow.

Guuzen wo Iiwake ni Shite is probably my favorite part of this release. However, looking at this release as a whole compared to Sasshi's songs and promotion... They don't stand a chance. Hopefully they'll give her some good competition though.

based on NINKI rating (based on survey of popularity of the release), Nogizaka46 is #1 and sasshi is #2 with pretty big gap..NINKI is often accurate to predict the oricon result..

I've watched Nogizaka 46 perform this on TV several times... and I've learned to love the song ^o^
Sales battle against Sasshi starts today! The NINKI rankings show that NZK wins by about twice, but we'll see the real outcome from the Oricon weekly charts.
Rooting for NZK, but I'm buying one copy each for both :nervous
