Man, I hate senbatsu with a passion.I predict the result would be similar to the usual senbatsu list, the less popular girls still will not make into senbatsu. But here where the (hardcore) fans will vote for their oshimen/kamioshi, so expect a few surprises on the list.It is a great chance to push their kamioshi forward to get recognized by the more casual fans, and getting more chances in the future single releases.
It adds so much drama to something that should be totally and absolutely up to the producer. The fact that everything lies (ostensibly) in the hands of the fans is just lame.
...
however, I don't see the picks veering too far away from the usual frontgirls.
Although I won't be surprised if Komori got a spot. Maybe displace Acchan at the top.As much as I dislike Acchan (don't send me death threat!), she will still be No.1.Her fans will make sure of that, plus if the casual fans are voting as well, their votes probably go to Acchan's.Believe me, this is a battle for No.2 ~ No.21.
I'd like to see Erena get a spot, if only so she can finally get TV spots again.I found that one weird too.It has been a long time since I saw Erena performing live with other members on TV.I would like to think it is because she is busy with outside jobs.Or maybe she got into some trouble (ala Ayarin).
I think Rena might actually be able to get higher than Jurina...

The coupling song is great too... is a 80's style (costume, wig, song).

AKB48’s “Heavy Rotation” creates new record on Oricon’s Karaoke Ranking!http://www.tokyohive.com/2011/08/akb48s-heavy-rotation-creates-new-record-on-oricons-karaoke-ranking/ (http://www.tokyohive.com/2011/08/akb48s-heavy-rotation-creates-new-record-on-oricons-karaoke-ranking/)
AKB48’s 17th single “Heavy Rotation”, which was released back in August of 2010, has come in at number one on Oricon’s Karaoke Ranking this week, making this their 43rd consecutive week at number one! Up until now, ORANGE RANGE’s “Hana” has held this record for six years with 42 consecutive first place wins.
“Heavy Rotation” was the result of AKB48’s “2nd Senbatsu General Election”, where Oshima Yuko took first place and was in the center position for the first time. This track was second to AKB48’s first million-seller “Beginner” in Oricon’s 2010 Yearly Ranking, selling 713,000 copies.
“Heavy Rotation” officially entered the karaoke ranking on September 13, 2010 at #12. It gradually moved up in rank until November 1, 2010, where it finally took the first place position and has continued to keep it for 10 months. More than a year after its initial release, “Heavy Rotation” is still in the TOP100 single ranking and is a song people love to sing at karaoke.

Where is the exact location that I could post this?
Congratulations on 100,000,000 views for Heavy Rotation on Youtube!
Here are my pictures, I could have gotten 100,000,000 views, however Youtube wouldn't update my view-count until 5 minutes later.

Popular idol group, AKB48's representative song 'Heavy Rotation' (released in August 2010)'s Music Video, became the first Japanese music artist to overcome the 100 million views hurdle on video sharing site 'YouTube' slightly over noon on the 23rd. The Center for this song, Oshima Yuko remarks, “What should I say”.
Hebirote is the first song Oshima Yuko centered, after defeating then immovable ace, Maeda Atsuko during the 2nd General Elections; It is AKB48’s 17th single that was released on 18th of August 2010. Movie Director, Ninagawa Mika was in charge of photography and the Music Video’s direction. How members appeared in bewitching lingeries during the shoot was also a topic of discussion.
This MV that was uploaded on the group’s official YouTube channel on 8th of September 2010, took about 3 and a half year to record this feat. After NHK’s Kouhaku Uta Gassen held on New Year’s Eve last year, where Oshima announced her graduation from the group, views took a sharp rise, and managed to achieve this milestone before her graduation.
Oshima who achieved this feat remarked, “What should I say about this. In my entire life, I had never expected to be associated with the number, 100 million. How views were accumulated one by one till 100 million, makes Heavy Rotation’s shine even brighter. I am extremely happy. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people that have played back this MV repeatedly. Thank you so much everybody.”
AKB48’s management that also runs their YouTube channel commented on their Google+ page saying, “Japan’s First”. As no Japanese Artist’s official MV had achieve this 100 million views milestone before, that makes this achievement all the more remarkable.
