My favorite member is Ai Takahashi but my favorite generation is the 4th generation

4th Generation is truly the best generation in terms of voice, looks and talent. ;____; Yossi's the only one left, and she's carrying the torch quite admirably all by herself. ^____^

Obviously she would need to lead Aibon. Aibon needs the sort of leadership and support that only Aibon would provide.

Also, she could lead an army of Robo-Tsujis and Robo-Aibons...

I think subleaders are kind of like the best man in a wedding.  It's their job to provide drinks and dancers for the parties. :D

Yay 4th gen! The souls of H!M skits. Although duos like Rika-Kamei (Sachi) and Yossi-Ogawa (Kazuko) are funny as well, nothing can beat those with all four of them involved.

Why do you have to break the 4th gen apart, Tsunku? Because nobody other than them can lead? :cry:

It's amazing, eh? 4th Gen has the most characters and they're always the main focus of all the skits? And judging by future HM, they ain't going away!!  :w00t:

*laugh*  That's pretty much true...

So... with W, do they even count as NEEDING a leader?  I mean, it's obvious that Tsuji is the more leader-ish in personality, but they seem more like a partnership.

Actually, I laughed my head off when I first heard the leader-subleader introduction. Having a leader in a duo is funny enough, but Aibon annoucing herself as sub-leader just cracked me up...

The joke definitely worked on me :P

man...that's what I love about 4th Gen. They keep coming up with weird bits to amuse the hell out of us. FRESH. Innovative. I saw Nono singing something like "Ode To The Toilet Paper Fiasco in Finland" on recent HM Skits. Now it's fuckin sweet to see Rika do it too, but I want to see Rika to do Nono's main part next time!!!  :w00t:

Oh, I always wondered why in W's PB Nono wrote to Aibon's back "watashi wa zou desu" (I'm an elephant). This must be the reason ^_^ So cute.

my favorite generation out of all...
I think they really add some kinda new flavor to MM at that time...
we have the...
1. "beauty", Rika
2. "Leader", Yossi
3. "Two-Top", Aibon and Nono
too bad...most of them graduated...
and I think Yossi is not gonna stay for too long...
My guess..."the most" is at the end of next year...
or the beginning of the following year... :o  :o  :roll: ...
maybe at the end of this year...who knows what Tsunku is thinking...

Well somewhere before the release of Happy summer wedding. I got the 4th gen audition somewhere but cant be stuffed going through my hard drives to find it.

I think their official debut is the date Happy Summer Wedding was released(I don't know what that is). though I could be wrong.

People use different dates. Some use HSW's release date and others (me included) use the date they announced the winners on Asayan, which is April 16th.

To be honest I don't miss Kago at all. By the way all 4th gen fans should check out the new HPP DVD, it should have plenty of Rikanono action.

4th generation is/was the best! I love everyone of them:heart:  and miss they very much...

Ganko family is my favorite of HM skits. They did it so perfectly that I almost thinked they were real family.

Saddly I became MoMusu fan too "late". I never got know them "live", if you understand what I mean. Sorry my bad English, but it's still "early" morning:D

I think Aibon's comeback will be much like Nacchi's (if Aibon does come back).... A public apology, some concert appearance thing (like Nacchi + Melon Kinenbi), and then back full on (Nochiura natsumi tour etc). But as far as I can remember, it took a while until Nacchi got back in HM, maybe because they shoot the episodes in advance.

4th gen ,aibon is the reason i'm here now and yeah, I still hope she'll be back soon but in the same time it's just scary to think if she won't. I miss her and W a lot and wish W will be the same. Coz it's possible that she may never sing again :( i know many ppl may be not think of her in the same way like they used to (and i understand that) but i really hope to see her comes back.

You now.....I love 4th gen but i dont think they will be together again. Maybe for a little while but then....its sad but its true.......there wont be morning musume anymore. Their songs arent that popular like few years ago. I still love them and Yossi is my favourite but I'm very afraid that sooner or later theyll gone.....i already read something like that. Nah everything what i love always gone!

Morning Musume 4th Gen is awesome.  the Cute Two Top Tsuji Nozomi and Kago Ai of W, the Sexy-cute Rika Ishikawa, leader of Biyuuden and last but certainly not least, the Beautiful-sexy-cute-funny-tomboyish Hitomi Yoshizawa, leader of Morning musume, Gatas Brilhantes H.P., and a popular member within H!P. with many close friends.  the 4th gen members has done alot of h!p activites compared to other MM generations.  And also i don't know if this counts of not, but Miki Fujimoto was also discovered in the 4th Gen. Auditions so would she be count as a non-official 4th gen. u know as a soloist. Aya Matsuura was also discovered during that time as well, although she didn't auditioned for MM but the Heike Michiyo Protegee Auditions.  

Anywayz, like i said before, the 4th gen has been active and probably one of the more popular generations. throughout the years, with rika being in many subgroups, like country musume, tanpopo with kago, economi, and DEF. DIVA.  Tsuji and Kago both became leader and subleader in their own duo group, been apart of Minimoni(the most popular Morning musume subgroup) and had been most popular for the cuteness and being the bakajo and kusojo(Stupid girl and Crap girl), haha!! (no disrespect).  and then there's the Beautiful Hitomi "Yossi" Yoshizawa, the current leader of Morning Musume, the captain of Gatas Brilhantes H.P.(H!P futsal team), former member of Petitmoni and then became its leader.  Pegged by Tsunku as "intelligent beauty", extremely skilled in sports, and a popular member of Hello! Project due to the fact that she is very close friends with Satoda Mai and Kimura Ayaka, as well as with Goto Maki, Fujimoto Miki, and Ogawa Makoto. She together with Rika is known to be "the model boy and girl" of MM.  

well anywayz dat about all i could think of right now.  so lata.

P.S. if u haven't figured it out, i'm a huge Yossi fan.  Love her to death. as well as some other H!P members, but she no#1 in my heart (although there is a certain someone who is in a very close second. a certain Rokkies with hypnotic eyes).

Don't worry, we're all biased to a certain extent. But if I'm not mistaken, most would agree that 4th generation and Gottsan were the pioneers of New-School MoMusu, if you know what I mean; and this might probably be why subsequent generations, in general, seem to lack originality or seem to have weaker characters in comparison to the POWER of Gottsan, Yossie, Charmy, Nono, and Aibon!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, 4TH GEN!!!   they're my most beloved generation.  and accoding to a recent poll, so is everyone elses.  they're the best.  i always thought of them as the most active and stand-out gen of all of the musumes.  they have the most fun, don't they.  we have the tom-boy otou-san (yossi), the cute charmy okaasan (Ishikawa), and the two cute but mischevious twins ( Tsuji and Kago...aka...Bakajo and Kusojo).  that's the complete family there.  but now one is missing (kago), she'll definitely will be missed.....

I think this was posted in every thread at 2ch. ;D It's when Gatas was in Hawaii...

Nono said that Gatas members had been together for a long time, but quarrels did happen, and Yossie would deal with it like the leader she is. She gathered everyone around and, in the end, we all cried. Then we circled around and yelled "Ganbarou!" All in front of a restaurant's toilet. :D After then we gathered again, but this time it was just Non, Rika-chan and Yossie. And Yossie said "Yocchan ganbatta yo" which made Rika and Nono cried once again.

Rika said that Yossie never showed her weakness. They'd been together for 7 years and she never showed it once. But this time in Hawaii, she actually did, in front of Rika and Nono. Rika said she was glad, and Nono probably was, too.

4th Gen is always special.....They can do anything together! I love their roles in Ganko Family...Its always so fun and they understand eat other well enough to make fun of each other! Yossie loves to bicker with Rika-chan in cute thiings Rika-chan said Non-chan likes to say that Yossie is like a guy! They always encourage each other and looks after each other. Can see both Yossie n Rika-chan worried faces when Non-chan hurt herself in Gatas matches and also in PK matches Rika-chan n Yossie tends to encourage Non-chan a lot. Even when Non-chan hurt her ankle on the H!P 2006 summer concert its Yossie that stands in the performance for her not forget the recent musical where Non-chan is sick also. Its Rika-chan n Yossie standing in for her! ITs sweet of them . 4th gen love!!!

I'm a big fan of Nono and Aibon. I miss the way the old Morning Musume use to be. Yossie was the only reason why I keep listening to Musume. Not really a big fan of Rika but her personality is funny sometimes. I saw old pictures of her as a child and she look a little mean in them.

only got to know morning musume recently mostly cause of ishikawa, but all the 4th gen is awesome...3rd and 4th gen were the one two punch ko of HP...I dont think Tsunku will ever get anything similar

IMHO 4th gen were the support of MM, they developed their own characters quickly and I agree with Chibs "3rd and 4th gen were the one two punch ko of HP" considering "Love Machine" was their highest selling album to date (considering without file sharing) and pretty much propelled them to the star power they were in the past.

Just too bad Kago had done what she did  :(

There are a few key Hello Project figures who I credit with sparking my interest in the whole deal, but if I can credit one subset of members with really setting things off, it's Morning Musume's Fantastic Four(th), AKA the goofball generation. They pretty much have always served as my entry point: They were the first ones I really took notice of in Ayaka's English Lessons; my first UFA-related purchase was Hangry & Angry's Sadistic Dance album; Minimoni was the first H!P group I was ever aware of thanks to random Wikipedia surfing and silly YouTube memes; heck, I even knew who Aibon was years before I actually knew who she was because of [noembed]that one TV show she was in (http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/celebrity_and_showbiz/watch/v170401539bEMdkG5)[/noembed]. And when it comes to actually interacting within the H!P fanbase, it was here at JPH!P, the home of the Chuuch of Charmy, that I first made my presence known (I registered at Hello!Online first, but started posting here before over there  :thumbsup).

It's sometimes sad to see these recent 4th gen group photos that only feature 3 of them, and it's a shame that we may never see a full reunion (of course you can never really say never), but it's good to see all of them still staying active after all these years, and they definitely have a legacy that has yet to be matched.
