Dear visitors, the moment has come to unveil the first Cosplay fashion show of Chibi Japan Expo 3. More than a Cosplay, it's a veritable Visual Kei fashion show. The judges? HANGRY&ANGRY!
Threefold, the Chibi Japan Expo Cosplay shows will let you sign up soon and prove your creativity... but what we're proposing here isn't a classic Cosplay, but a veritable "Around Visual Kei" fashion show, orchestrated by HANGRY&ANGRY and in partnership with BulleJapon.
So prepare yourselves to help on Saturday, October 31 2009 with this (very) special show, in the beautiful and classy Amphitheatre of the festival!

Précisons un peu ce qui est accepté pour ce thème un peu particulier :
- Les cosplay de chanteurs et groupes de Visual Kei et de Jmusic.
- Les cosplay de manga/anime si le costume est d'inspiration gothic ou visual.
- Les créations personnelles gothique, gothique lolita, visual et punk si vous avez dessiné et réalisé vous-même votre tenue.
Attention, les tenues doivent être réalisées par vous-même et non achetées !
Les costumes ou tenues choisies seront validées au cas par cas lors de l'inscription ! Si jamais le cosplay choisi ne rentre malheureusement pas dans le thème, vous avez la possibilité de vous réinscrire à nouveau en nous proposant un costume différent.
Le concours se présentera sous la forme d'un défilé sur de la musique HANGRY&ANGRY. Chaque personne (les groupes ne sont malheureusement pas possibles) disposera de 45 secondes pour son passage sur scène (1 minute en comprennant l'aller-retour).

Pour vous inscrire, rien de plus simple. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes dès maintenant et ce jusqu'au 25 octobre dans la limite des places disponibles ! (les inscriptions seront fermées lorsque le nombre de places disponibles sera atteint)

Let's specify a bit what is accepted for this particular theme:
-Cosplay of singers and groups from Visual Kei and of Jmusic.
-Cosplay of manga/anime if the costume is gothic or visual inspired.
-Personal gothic, gothic lolita, visual and punk creations if your outfits are home-made and designed by you.
Attention, the outfits must be made by you and not be bought!
The chosen costumes or outfits will be validated on a case by case basis at registration!
If ever your cosplay unfortunately does not fit the theme, you have the chance to re-register with a different costume.
The contest will be presented as a fashion show using HANGRY&ANGRY's music. Each person (unfortunately, groups won't be possible) will have 45 seconds on stage (1 minute total including the return).

SOOOO... from the sound of it, it's more like a fashion show rather than a parade. Fascinating. I wonder what the prizes are... maybe a photo op? hangry prize being a pic with hangry and so on? That'd be sweeeet. Too bad I'm not into cosplay.
