『ＴＰＥ４８』プロジェクト発足！

２０１１年１０月１日（土）、

ＡＫＢ４８（東京・秋葉原）、

ＳＫＥ４８（名古屋・栄）、

ＮＭＢ４８（大阪・なんば）、

ＨＫＴ４８（福岡・博多）

の姉妹グループとして、「JKT48（ジャカルタ４８）」に続く海外グループ

「ＴＰＥ48（台北４８）」

の発足を発表いたします。

『ＴＰＥ４８（ティー ピー イー フォーティエイト）』は台北にて発足する、ＡＫＢ４８同様に「会いに行けるアイドル」をコンセプトとした、秋元康総合プロデュースのアイドルグループです。

来年の夏に劇場公演が開始できるよう準備をしていく予定でおります。

詳細につきましては、年明けに改めて発表させていただきます。

I was always surprised by the sheer speed of Aki-P's group making...

Many of you will know Akimoto Yasushi as the mastermind behind idol groups AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, SDN48, and HKT48. He’s recently branched out his idol franchise to create AKB48’s first overseas sister group, ‘JKT48‘ from Jakarta, Indonesia, and it looks like he’ll continue to establish new ‘48′ groups in other countries.

AKB48’s official blog has just announced that Akimoto will be forming ‘TPE48‘ with girls from Taipei, Taiwan! The post assures that this new idol group’s concept will remain the same as AKB48’s, being “an idol you can meet”.

They are already planning for the group’s debut, which is said to be in Summer of 2012.

TPE48 might be a hit around HK and China and Taipei itself. But if Aki-p and his team doesn't choose the members, TPE48 will be full of model like member who might not know how to entertain 48's fan there.

but somehow he's returned.
and in the past hour has managed to be the reason for 10 pages of comments on that article.
its an article about jpop and mandopop

yeah but they're good about updating about music videos and whatnot
and they translate alot of stuff
its just a matter of convenience.
as long as you ignore the ridiculous kpop ties into everything
and the super ridiculous kpop trolls.
oh and the tabloid rumors.
its not that bad.

Yesterday, AKB48 officially announced its plans for a Taiwan-based sister group called TPE48. This will be their second overseas sister group to launch, as the Indonesia-based JKT48 is aiming to debut at the end of this year.

As the TPE48 name suggests, the new group will be based in Taipei. Like the other AKB48 groups, Akimoto Yasushi will serve as the general producer, and the group will maintain the concept of being “idols you can meet.”

According to the announcement, TPE48 is aiming for a stage debut next summer. Members will be chosen through an audition aimed at Taiwanese residents. More details about the audition and schedule will be announced in early 2012.

News of a Taiwan-based unit first surfaced in February of this year, and at the time it was believed that the group was aiming to launch this past summer.

TPE48 will be the seventh group under the AKB48 umbrella (counting SDN48). The Fukuoka-based HKT48 is expected to launch this winter.

I liked Shenshen myself, but I fear she may be too old (24 atm) to audition.

I wouldn't mind Linlin either, but I don't see that happening. Not sure if mainland China - Taiwan relations allow it, and with 21 years old she may be too old as well... but it would be awesome.
