Before Sayu even took her final bow as a Momusu member, the Fukumura era was off to a dashing start!

Sayu was injured and couldn't make it to the center platform, but the next song in the non-stop medley after "Brainstorming" was a duet! So Fukuchan broke formation early and rushed--heeled boots and all--to Sayu's side so that both were ready! (also just as impressive was how the remaining girls were able to adjust their formation flawlessly to account for the missing members)

As sad as it was to see Sayumi leave, it feels good to know that she has left the group in good hands! Even with her status as the group's youngest leader ever, I know for sure that Fukuchan won't let us down. IN MIZUKI WE TRUST!

^ Great analysis! I had no idea that Fukuhime is the youngest leader ever... must check that out, I wonder who was the next youngest in order of their age when they ascended the throne? I'm guessing Nakazawa Yuko was the oldest leader... in fact, probably the oldest member ever?

I really have high hopes for Fuku-chan's leadership... she is surely adored for her increasingly sexy image, which I think is a cloak she wears initially reluctantly but now coming with more acceptance... as seen by the number of Young Gangan appearances this year. But as people might have thought that all Sayumin had to offer was cuteness, but revealed hidden depths, I know that Mizuki-chan will not let the sexiness factor distract her from her new calling.

*NSFW* Finally, just to add an ecchi note to this, serious readers of the pervy side of Momusu should not miss the engaging Fukuhime birthday tribute story by kuro_808 in which both Mizuki and Sayu get down and dirty... literally.
