I wrote this one after listening to that xD
The Hands of GodOnce upon a time, there lived a girl who was often known for having
the hands of God.
Ever since young, she kept on playing piano.
It was her way of passing time,
Her way to enjoy herself,
Her passion.
But then everything went astray.
She simply wanted to play piano freely- but then her mother became obsessed of her talent.
She wanted to be praised for having such a talented child more.
And so, she asked Matsui Sakiko to play in the public.
And it worked,
More praises came to them, gifts, applauds, and at first, Sakiko was happy about it.
She liked to see the smile people would wear as they pressed their hands together.
But her mother, wanting to be recognized more, began on telling her to play more.
As a result, everyday, she would play at the town square, only stopping when her mother is finally satisfied for the day.
She played, and played, and played,
Until soon, she grew tired of pressing the piano keys.
I don’t want to play anymore…She said to her mother, and in response, a sharp pain crept up on her cheek.
Her mother. Her once sweet mother just hit her.
And it was all because of her damn talent.
Her father found out all about it soon.
How her mother have been pushing her too much.
How she just hit her for such a small reason and got angry.
The two of them began on arguing.
It became a daily thing.
Her happy family was no more.
And once again, it was all because of her damn talent.
Because of her hands.
She wanted to end all of this. To turn into the normal girl she used to be.
And so, walking at the back of the house, she picked up her father’s machete.
Shaking, she slowly placed her spare hand on a tree stump.
She raised the machete up,
And ended her misery.
