So, it appears Fonchi is having problems as well lately. She's been feeling pain in her right arm for some reason and it's disabling her from moving it freely without hurting. Because of lack of time there's no way for her to have a doctor look at it either, so she's seeking advice at her blog at the moment.

Really hope it's nothing serious,and she can have it examined quickly after 9th live & CDL.

Today's Shinahachi makes me worry more about Fonchi.
She looked nervous from the start and then forget the lyrics of her Shinatsubu request song.
Luckily for her Umeko and Ai-chan came from backstage to bring a paper containing the lyrics. She then broke down to tears mid song.
The fans was all chanting Fonchi's name by this point showing support for her.
I don't know if this is her first time singing solo or anything but she clearly looked troubled by something.
She still cried during the next song singing Nagara with Hii-chan, Amimi and Ai-chan
Hope it was just her feeling nervous.

it was not her first time singing solo though, because before this during the hachitama era. she was the first one to get to sing solo and she even sung ZONE's Secret Base

aaw man that's a real bummer to hear that. I hope that she can regain her composure soon

I feel very bad for Fonchi as well, I hope she's alright and can regain her confidence.
And such a wonderful thing to hear all the Idoling fans cheering her on, not just a few.
Even though every Idoling fan has his own favorite(s), they still cheer on the whole group and support all members.
This is what I love about Idoling as well.
Hmm,I think I should put a comment on her blog.

I'm guessing its her first name, but then whats her second name?

She doesn't have a second name, she's a pure Vietnamese. Thus the difference in her name. Born and raised in Japan though.

I thought her actual name is Phong Chi in vietnamese thus the reasons for her japanisation to fonchi. So Phong would be her surname?

Fonchi/Phongchi is actually her name, she's never mentioned her family name before.
