The new Superman reboot! set for 2013

During story discussions for The Dark Knight Rises in 2008, David S. Goyer, aware that Warner Bros. was planning a Superman reboot, told Christopher Nolan his idea on how to present Superman in a modern context. Impressed with Goyer's concept, Nolan pitched the idea to the studio in February 2010, who hired Nolan to produce and Goyer to write based on the financial and critical success of The Dark Knight.

.... Henry Cavill has been cast as Superman, making him the first non-American actor to be cast in the role. Amy Adams will portray Lois Lane, while Diane Lane has been cast as Martha Kent and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent. Filming will commence at Vancouver Film Studios, and the film, reportedly titled Superman: Man of Steel, will be released in theaters in December 2012, which also includes IMAX venues.

Russell Crowe will cast as superman's father

Ehhhh, I'm not so sure I'm wanting to see this. I really hated that last movie =/ made me want to punch things  :P . I'll have to watch the trailed again, to get myself hyped up over this one. :P

I thought it was pretty good, but I haven't watched previous Superman movies so I can't compare.

I thought the special effects were great at least.  I wasn't a fan of the new Lois Lane.  Superman looks very iconic though.

^ I agree. I hated Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It makes me wonder what they were thinking when they were casting people.

IMO Teri Hatcher was the best Lois Lane ever. She was sexy,sassy,smart and I think my crush on her has not gone away  :lol:
