Everyone complains about campers, nuke-boosters, n00b-tubers etc but there's a much more serious threat in my eyes.
People who quit during a match on FIFA.
It's seen in other sports games, but on FIFA it's extremely prevalent. I gave up on Head to Head play for a while considering how much of it I had seen. Returned to it this afternoon and of all 4 games I played with random people, all 4 of them gave up when they were losing. I can sort of understand if you're losing 8-0 (go me
) but quitting after the 25th min as soon as I score a goal? Give me a break. The automatic 3-0 score to the non-quitter is not much of a penalty to these people as they just don't learn.
I appreciate the fact that not everybody has the best connection in the world so it may kick you out without even intending to do so. It happened to me more than once back with my old ISP. But at least then I went back and offered them a rematch. As all the people I've played against throughout my time with FIFA10 haven't done that, then I can assume that they're intentional quitters.
Man up. It's a game. Winning a match does not result in a naked Megan Fox descending on your lap. Means nothing at the end of the day besides a bit of fun. You accept it and learn from your defeats. This is the biggest issue I have against online players. Hate it.
