I use conjunctions in the beginning of sentences all the time, and Ping was the first person to say something about it since like the 3rd grade! The "but" was supposed to show contrast with the main idea of the previous sentences, which was Seohyun going to sleep, but Tae ended up sleeping too... change my line to "Taeyeon too was..." That should work without breaking the 3 word rule.

Suddenly, she (TaeYeon) had a hand on her younger friend’s luscious assets.
After minutes, the ice cream that SooYoung carried melted, just like Sunny's heart when she saw that HyoYeon had brought her some delicious corn.
SooYoung: "What is this meeting about?"
TaeYeon: "Confetti, my dear. Or that's what I want it to bea bout"
All this time, Seohyeon was lurking; watching scrambled porn all by herself in the dorm.
SeoHyeon: "Oh my god!!! You unnis are so damn sexy in clogs and purple polka dots!"
Meanwhile, YoonA figured out that the maknae was going to bed. She then thought of making pudding pies with TaeYeon unni but TaeYeon was strangely aroused by the smell of Jessica's tuna salad, therefore distracting her.
SeoHyeon pleaded to join in on tasting Jessica's tuna which was filled with mayonnaise, but fell asleep before getting mud butt. The mud butt ended up being a direct result of bad food. So she swore that she'd try to eat less of Jessica's food (imagine seo swearing after she realizes everyone had mud butts the next morning). TaeYeon too was also quite sleepy, so she crawled purposely into Yoona's closet so that it'd be quieter.
Meanwhile, Sunny was eavesdropping on the conversation that Yuri was having with Jessica about hot nights with Tiffany.

Thank you Liam oppa <3 To me, form doesn't really matter much as long as it's grammatical (or as much as it can be) and still sounds nice. Though, I worry more about it making sense at this point

And yes, I see Yulsic as the two guy buds and TaeNy as the two girl friends. JeNy is the couple
