FRESH new shit from Yuna! her voice is OUTTA THIS WORLD! her US debut produced by none other than Neptunes Pharrell

Yuna (real name; Yunalis Zarai) is a female acoustic/folk singer-songwriter originating from Pahang, Malaysia and is now based in Selangor, Malaysia. She began making a mark for herself in the local independent scene in 2007, before releasing her demo in February 2008. Her debut EP, Yuna EP was released in October 2008. Her debut album was finally released in July 2010, titled Decorate. Yuna has been cementing herself in the local scene with complementary comparisons to the likes of Norah Jones and Rachael Yamagata.

I double-taked scrolling down the forum to my usual haunts below. (NO, not the pron section) I literally said out loud, "The *what* music thread?"

My contribution. Only because when in any other environment outside my own country and the internets (jphip is the only exception), I am proud to be a Malaysian.

They don't make voices like Zee anymore. Reminds me of the good old days when music meant something.

Following the previous posters, I also got wow-ed by the existence of this Malay music thread.

Speaking about a favorite, my friend in college recommended me this, and I love it so much.

:guitar: Good ol' grunge. :guitar:

So Malaysian friends, are there any current news about this band? I kinda lost track since their 'Kembali' (2008) album.
