For anyone who didn't see already, Yaguchi Mari is now listed as an official artist on Hello! Project.com. She has a new pic up and everything.
This doesn't 100% mean "solo artist", as Yasuda Kei and Inaba Atsuko are also listed as artists.

It's always been official. The 2 fan club shows on 14 & 15 June were listed just 2 or 3 days after she quit MM.

According to this thread by tama-chan, Yaguchi is besides MC'ing in H!P Summer concert, also singing a song! I guess this could be finally called her "comeback" and enough reason to raise this thread back up.

I still hope they find something bigger for her than just singing a song in H!P concerts though. Tsunku should make her sing some fast and energetic songs, leaving boring ballads to Maki and Ayaya. I think Yaguchi would fit that pretty well.

Or she could join W, when it would become http://WWW... Which would kind of ruin the "Tsuji-Kago twins" thing

I think she'll be earning less money now... I don't precisely how they pay to MM members, but she loses all provisions from records and concerts, and more important, I guess she loses commercials too.

Well, but she has been erning lots thru all those years. And shes got a fames boyfriend

My guess is that money is her least concern.

But whats is realy nice, is that Mari didn't disaper out of show-biz the way she disaperd from MM.

It's good to see mari's getting around like she is and that she has so much support. Her agency's behind her and keeping her busy and people want to book her for their shows. She hasn't been shut out and she's not burned out.

(I still miss her from hm but realistically there are so many others to share screen time with it almost doesn't matter.)

but they get paid for appearing on each TV-shows...that's why being a host of a TV-program (which airs everyweek) and CMs earns more than the average singer-only-person

copyrights earn you the most money. hence Tsunku (H!P)

wrap it all up, good to see her so active, unlike some other ex-MM

I had an urge to discuss about our all-time favorite member Yaguchi Mari, and raise this thread a little bit up again!

Despite being guest in various tv-shows and hosting Yaguchi Hitori, I think it has been pretty quiet about Yaguchi lately. What Do you think, will she ever get a bigger role in H!P anymore, or does she stay like Kei aging steadily in H!P without having anything important to do? Or she might leave H!P and marry her glue-sniffing boyfriend. Unfortunately I've been thinking the last option is the most likely one. I hope I'm wrong though.

But yeah... I hope she'll continue her tv career and be in many shows. Japan loves her more than Kei so she should survive ^_^ Even if she got married she could continue... Since her boyfriend is already revealed then who cares anymore if she marries him XD I think it'd be Mari's wonderful dream coming true. it doesn't mean the end of their career. ^^

Mari & Ayaka just did 3 fan club shows (1 on the 22nd and 2 on 23rd) at Hiroo, La Crochet. They must have posed for pics with fans because I found this poor quality pic. In a months time Mari has 5 fc shows with Yasuda.

Time to raise Yaguchi topic up again! I noticed that Yaguchi have been in photoshoot with that -6% shirt, which means pictures have been taken after the incident. It's good to see her doing normal h!p stuff again. Maybe they let her sing something soon!
