Chapter 4-Black's drastic change
It was early morning, and Yuki's room was just barely light.
Yuki was collapsed on the floor, deep inside a realm of her own dreams.
Her mother slowly opened the door again.
"Yuki..."
She didn't see her daughter in her bed, and then looked and saw her feet on the floor.
"Yuki?"
She flung the door open and rushed to her.
When she saw her unconscious body, she called for her husband and Takeru.
"Honey, Takeru, come quick! Yuki's collapsed!"
"What?!"
They rushed upstairs and found her on the ground.
"Yuki, honey, wake up!"
"Yuki! YUKI!!!"
They shook her shoulders, trying to get her up, but her body didn't respond.
Then, her fingers twitched a bit and her hand slowly moved. Her hand slowly raised up, then her mom took it tightly into her own.
"Yuki? Yuki. Can you hear me?"
"...Mm...."
Yuki's eyes slowly opened and she saw her mother close to her.
Her mother felt something different in her eyes. There was light, a welcoming, warm feeling that wasn't there in so long.
"Mama..?"
"Yuki, are you alright?"
"We were worried sick. What happened?"
"...Papa. Takeru."
Takeru got up and opened the curtains.
Yuki suddenly covered her eyes from the brightness of the sun.
Then, something changed in her.
The light from the sun as it shined on her made her feel... different. She felt this way before, when she was young, and missed this feeling so much.
"Ah! Is that too bright? I'll close it-"
"N-no."
Yuki got up and stopped him from closing it.
"No..."
"Eh?"
Yuki slowly walked over and opened the window. A small basket with purple flowers growing were revealed and captured her eyes.
A golden butterfly flew over across a few flowers.
Yuki slowly took her hand and let the butterfly walk onto her finger.
She was completely captured by the beauty of such a strange creature. She actually felt happy.
"This is weird, but... But...."
"Y-Yuki?"
Yuki turned her head and did something the others haven't seen her do in so long.
She smiled. A bright, warm smile that lit up the room more.
"Darling, are you okay?"
"Yeah, Mama. I'm alright."
"Well... Yuki, it's just..you seem happy."
Yuki giggled a bit and kissed her dad's cheek.
"What's for breakfast?"
She ran downstairs, leaving the three in her room dumbfounded.
"Honey, is my daughter okay?"
"I don't know..."
"Takeru?"
"How should I know? She hasn't called you guys 'Papa' and 'Mama' in years."
Downstairs, Yuki was happily eating her breakfast, which, by the way, was almost completely covering her plate.
"Mm~! Oishii!"
"Ah... You seem pretty hungry, Yuki."
"Well, she did skip dinner last night."
Suddenly, Ryota started poking one of his sausages in Yuki's face.
"Marimokkori! You're gonna choke, no one can eat faster than me!"
Yuki snatched the sausage from his hand and held it in front of him.
"Hai. Ah~~~"
"Eh?"
Yuki was feeding Ryota the sausage.
He hesitated a bit, but ate it.
"Eat your meat properly. You need the strength."
"Nuh-uh! No one can beat me! Not even you, Marimokkori!"
"I'll beat both of you if you don't hurry and eat," their dad joked. They saw the clock, almost 6:59.
Ryota started eating faster, but Yuki was stuffing more down.
She held her mouth closed as she ran to the door, still holding the glass of orange juice and a piece of toast.
"Y-Yuki?"
Yuki gulped down the orange juice and threw the cup over to her dad. He panicked, but luckily Takeru caught it before it fell.
"Itekimasu~!"
She popped the toast in her mouth and ran out the door.
The rest of her family were so confused. Why was Yuki suddenly acting so cheerful and bright after she's become so dark?
They ran over to the window and saw Yuki getting on her bicycle.
"Honey... Is there something wrong with our daughter?"
"I... don't know...."
Asuka was walking up to the bus stop, checking her phone.
Out the corner of her eye, she saw someone racing down on their bike.
She panicked a bit, and ended up crashing into her.
When they fell down, she got a better look and realized it was Yuki.
"No. No no no! This is bad!!!"
She imagined Yuki in rage, beating her up and threatening her. She whimpered in fear.
When Yuki got up, her bangs covered her eyes, which scared Asuka more.
Then, she slowly raised her head and looked at her.
"Ah! Kuramochi."
"E....?"
"Kuramochi, ohayou!"
Her happy eyes and bright smile tugged Asuka's heart. But, she couldn't figure out why. What happened that made Yuki seem nice now?
They both got up, dusting off their uniforms.
"K-Ka-Kashiwagi-san, I'm SO sorry."
"Don't be. I didn't see you, so it's my fault."
"Eh? She's... apologizing?"
"Hey, let's go to school together, 'kay?"
"Uh, no thanks... I'm taking the bus today."
Yuki frowned a bit, but then smiled again and said, "Okay. Your loss," and rode off on her bike.
Asuka just stared dumbly at her.
At school, Aki was riding her scooter and rode up to Asuka.
"Yo, Kuramochi!"
"Ah, Takajo-san..."
She parked her scooter and walked up beside her.
"What's wrong? You look a little pale."
"Um... did something happen to Kashiwagi-san?"
"Hm?"
"She was acting..different this morning."
They then saw Yuki ride in and park her bike. She was still cheery with a bright smile on her face. She was even humming a song.
"C'mon. She can't be acting THAT different."
As Yuki walked up, she saw Aki and smiled.
"Ah, Aki-cha!"
"Hm? 'Aki-cha'?"
Aki stopped in her tracks and stared at her.
"Ohayou, Aki-cha."
"O-ohayo..."
Now, Aki was just as surprised as Asuka. Yuki was acting...nice? Why?
At class, Aki approached Yuki again who was happily humming a song while reading her book.
"A-ano, Kashiwagi..."
"Hm?"
"..K-Kashiwagi, I, uh..."
"'Kashiwagi'?"
Her sudden response startled Aki a bit. She couldn't have really gotten amnesia.
"Why are you still calling me that?"
"...Because, it's your name."
"I know that, but..."
Yuki got up and patted Aki's shoulder.
"Call me 'Yuki' next time, 'kay?"
As you could expect, Aki was completely dumbfounded and only sweatdropped and said, "Uh, okay..."
As the teacher came in and started class, he announced that their class was going to have a new student.
The young girl walked in and everyone fell head over heels from cuteness.
The transfer student was none other than Watanabe Mayu, the owner of the town's new candy store.
After being introduced, Yuki ran up to greet Mayu first.
"Watanabe-san, remember me? I visited your candy store yesterday."
"Ah, yes! I remember you. Yuki-chan, was it?"
The other students came up spurting random questions at Mayu.
"But, wow, owning a candy store. I NEED to visit that place!"
"Yeah, you should. I ate one of the chocolates, they're so yummy!"
As the other students laughed, some students were still a bit confused about Yuki's behavior.
"Y'know, Kashiwagi-san, you seem pretty happy today."
"Yeah, this isn't like you at all."
Suddenly, something shot through Yuki's mind.
"Wait... they're right. I don't normally act like this. So, why am I..?"
Yuki gasped and grabbed Mayu's wrist, suddenly dragging her across the hallway. She screeched to a hault in a place only Yuki knew about.
"Yuki-chan?"
"What did you do? What did you do to make me act like this?!"
"Y-Yu-Yuki-chan, calm down."
"Calm down?! Calm down-! I don't wanna calm down!"
"Yuki-chan, if you let me explain-"
"Explain? This is weird! How do you explain me acting like this?!?! How do you-?!?!?!"
*Th-WHACK*
Mayu suddenly whacked Yuki's head with a paper fan that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Yuki went absolutely silent.
"...Where did that come from?"
"Yuki-chan, listen carefully."
She gulped for a brief moment and firmly nodded.
Mayu tiptoed up to Yuki's ear and whispered to her.
"I'm a witch."
"Eh?!"

Chapter 7-Black's strange family
Yuki's been looking unusually down for the past three days, and Mayu's been noticing her increasing sleeping habits during class.
Flashback
"Now, who can answer this?"
"............"
"Kashiwagi?"
"...Huh?"
*Snores*
"Kashiwagi?"
"..Oi. Yukirin. Wake up."
"...Eh..?"
"KASHIWAGI!!!!"
"Ah, y-yes!"
*Laughs*
*Blushes*
"Oh no..."

Mayu had to do something to help.
She slowly tip-toed over to her desk and tapped her shoulder a bit.
"Yukirin... Wake up, Yukirin..."
"..Huh? Mayu?"
Yuki rubbed her eyes and raised her head.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm worried about you, Yukirin. You need to get some sleep."
"Ah, sorry. It's my little brother. *Yawn* He's been keeping me up all night. Dad was busy with work and Mom wasn't home, so I had to help take care of him."
"Don't you have an older brother?"
"Yeah, but he has college."
Mayu crossed her arms and thought a bit, then she got something.
"How about I help you?"
"Eh? Is that alright?"
"Of course! I love little kids."
"Ufufu, okay. I'll walk you over to my house."
Mayu nodded and patted Yuki's head. As she was about to walk out, she bumped into someone.
"Ah, sorry there, cutie!"
"Eh?"
The person she bumped into was Sae.
"Oh, no. It's my fault."
"Hehehe, you're so cute~, I could just eat you up!"
Mayu blushed a bit as Sae gently petted her head and walked off with a bright smile.
"..Yukirin... ..Wh-who was that?"
"Oh, him. That's Miyazawa Sae-kun."
"Sae...-kun...."
Mayu's face was blood red and her heart was beating so fast. She never saw someone so ikemen.
"Kakkoii..."
Yuki walked Mayu over to her house, telling her the countless, crazy stories of her younger brother.
They finally got to the house and approached the door.
"Now... be careful, 'kay?"
*Nods*
Yuki opened the door and tiptoed in.
Then, she got tackled by her little brother, Ryota, from her feet.
"Kyaa!!!"
"Yukirin, are you okay?"
"Haha~! Gotcha, Marimokkori!"
Yuki got up and rubbed the back of her head.
"Mou~ Ryota!!!"
Ryota gave her an akanbe and ran off. He picked up a toy plane and made plane-like sounds.
Mayu's eyes were widened big and focused on the small, but wild boy.
She's never seen a child act this crazy.
"Vroom vroom vroom!!! Catch me if you can, Black Marimokkori!!!!"
"'Marimokkori'?"
"Mou~ Where did he come up with that nickname, anyways?"
"'Marimokkori'?"
"Ever since he got the little marimokkori doll, he's called me that forever. How do I even resemble the thing?!?!?!?!"
"'Marimokkori'?"
"MAYU!!!"
Mayu suddenly snapped out of her trance and looked at Yuki, who was so angry, her face was tomato red.
"Are you even listening to me?!"
"Ah, sorry, Yukirin. What did you say?"
"Argh, nevermind!" she said as she slapped the ground and got up. "Ryota, where are you?!"
The two girls looked all around the house for the little runaway.
But, he was no where to be found. And, they literally checked EVERYWHERE!!!
The kitchen cabinets, the bathrooms, under the beds, even Yuki's closet!
But...nowhere.
Then, it hit her.
"There's only one more place I know he could be. The only place we haven't been near in years."
She whispered to Mayu, then they both started forming an idea.
But to do it, they needed one more person.
Yuki picked up the phone and dialed a number.
Silence....
"Hello?"
"Takeru... Come home. We need help with Takeru."
"Eh? But--"
"Don't you have break soon?!"
"....Okay. I'll be right there."
She hung up and turned to Mayu with a clever, almost devious smile on her face.
"Now, one more thing..." She whispered to Mayu again.
A cheeky, crocked smile appeared on her face and she nodded.
Ryota was hiding somewhere that would, of course, be the LAST place for anyone to look.
The dog house that belong to the dog Yuki and the others used to own.
"They'll never find me... I win again, Marimokkori..."
Then, a small bag flew out and landed in front of the dog house.
Ryota, completely confused, slowly crawls out, to make sure he's unseen, and takes the bag. He then rushes back in the dog house.
He unties the string on the bag and opens it. Inside are many colorful jelly beans.
"Uwaa! Oishii sou~!!!"
He popped three or four in him mouth, then practically devoured every last one.
Then, he heard a loud bang outside.
"What the heck?!"
When he popped his head out, the backyard had turned into a battlefield made out of candy. It was Ryota's dream come true.
*Mayu's explanation time*
"Hi kids, Mayu here. :heart: See, the jellybeans that Ryota made are my special magic fruity-patootie jelly beans. Whenever kids eat them, the dreams and wishes in their hearts are displayed in front of them. Me and Yukirin will use this to our advantage. :twisted:

"This is...AWESOME!!!!!!"
His sister, Yuki, pulled him out of the battlegrounds and into her specially made safety area.
"Yuki-nee?"
"Ryota, you must help me."
"What's happening?"
"It's Take-nii. After he returned from college, he wanted to make us something sweet. But, there was an accident."
"What?"
*ROAR*
The two looked up a bit and saw a giant candy monster. He had cotton candy clothing, candy corn claws, and peppermint eyes and jellybean jewelry.
*Mayu's explanation time*
"Hi, it's Mayu-chan again. :wave: Again, only Ryota can see this. Takeru is actually wearing cardboard armor we made beforehand."
*ROAR*
"What do we do?"
"The only way to return him to normal is to retrieve the "King size Hershey's" chocolate bar from his neck."
She pointed at the chocolate bar, wrapped around a string necklace on him.
"Think you can do it?"
"Un! I can do it!"
Yuki held his shoulder.
"And, I'm here for you."
He nodded, then Yuki handed him a dart gun filled with gumballs. They started shooting the candy monster.
*Mayu here. He's not really getting hurt. Takeru-kun is very strong.*
The monster threw a large ball of cotton candy and broke the safe area.
The two started sprinting toward him, shooting him.
Yuki then took a candy cane branch and cut the monster, which made it only split in half.
Ryota tackled one and started munching on the head, while Yuki shot the other one down, dead.
"Yatta!"
"Yuki-nee~!!!"
The monster threw him off his back. Then, it threw a gumdrop at Yuki.
Like a grenade, it exploded into jelly and Yuki fell unconscious.
"Yuki-nee!"
Ryota ran over to the collapsed girl. Yuki's eyes opened slightly and she held her little brother's hand.
"No, nee-chan. Don't die. I promise, I won't call you Marimokkori ever again!"
"..Ryota... Please, be strong... Do it for me..."
Her eyes closed and she passed out, dead. Tears swelled up in Ryota's eyes.
"..Yuki... YUKI-NEE~~~~!!!!!"
*Mayu's explanation time*
"Yes... I'm sorry. Yuki is not dead. This is pure acting. She wanted to teach him a lesson for calling her that for so long, but..."
*Sees Ryota crying*
"But, it looks like I have to do something. :sweatdrop: "
"Please, don't cry child."
Suddenly, Ryota looked in the tree and saw Mayu, wearing a beautiful white dress and angel wings.
*Sniff* "M-Ma-Mayu-neesan?"
"Nope! I'm the guardian angel of your sister."
She flew down and landed on her feet. She patted the young boy's head and wiped away his tears.
"Please... *Sniff* Help Yuki."
"Okay. But, listen, I have to be kept a secret, so I can protect Yuki, so don't tell her, 'kay."
"Un. Okay."
Mayu knelt down and put a small candy in Yuki's mouth. Then, she flew off and disappeared.
A miracle came. Yuki's eyes opened.
"..Ryota? I'm okay?"
Ryota smiled, still crying, and hugged her.
"Nee-chan!!! I'll never tease you with that silly nickname again! I promise you, Yuki-nee-chan!!!"
*Mayu's explanation time*
"Hey, I used my magic to take the form of an angel in front of Ryota, but the candy was not magic. It was just a plain cherry flavored candy.
Again, YUKI DIDN'T DIE! :grin: "
Yuki smiled and hugged him back.
"Promise?"
"Yes!"
"Then, let's get him! I have an idea..."
She whispered something into Ryota's ear. He smiled and nodded.
They both ran around the monster to confuse him.
Then, once he was dizzy enough, Yuki shot the gumballs at the candy bar, unwrapping the paper.
Ryota jumped in font of her, allowing her to pick him up and throw him.
He tackled the monster and grabbed the bar with his mouth, eating it.
As they fell to the ground, everything turned back to normal.
"Are?"
"Hey, Ryota, what are you doing?"
"Nee-chan! We did it!"
Yuki passed him a peace sign, and he reflected back.
Takeru, in a heat of flames, became like a general and stood up straight and stiff.
"ATTENTION!!!"
Yuki and Ryota instantly reacted, and mimicked his pose.
"LISTEN UP, SOLDIERS!!! OUR CHEF HAS GOT A HOT BROILING POT OF HOT COCOA AND WE NEED TO EAT!!! DO YOU HEAR ME?!?!?!?!?!"
"YES SIR!!!"
Mayu pops her head out from the door.
"Calm down, you guys. It's almost ready, by the way."
"'YA HEAR THAT, SOLDIERS?! REPORT FOR DUTY!!!!"
"YES SIR!!!!"

Chapter 8-Black Science

Mayu was just finished cleaning up the shop, when the phone suddenly rang.
She floated over on her broomstick, standing due to high difference, and answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello? Mayu?"
"Ah, Yukirin! What's wrong?"
"I wanted you to know if you've been working on our school project yet? We've got all weekend to do it, but I wanted to check up to see if you started already... The teacher said we need to turn it in for the science fair on Sunday."
"Ah, that? No, it's a bit confusing... 'Ya wanna come over and help me?"
"Sure, I don't mind!"
"Great! We can start tomorrow!"
"Okay. Bye."
"Bye." Mayu hung up the phone and stretched her arms.
She hopped off the broom and headed to bed.
Then, she saw a picture beside her bed. It was a picture of her and her mom flying together in the sky.
"Mom, I hope you're watching. I'll make you proud."
Yuki rode her bike down the road over to the candy shop.
She screeched to a halt as she finally reached the door. Mayu saw her and floated over to open the door.
"No! Not like that!"
"Oh, right."
She jumped off the broom and opened the door to let Yuki in.
"You need to be more careful. I don't want people to know about you."
"I know! I promise, I'll be more careful."
"Say, why's the shop so empty? Are you not open on weekends?"
"It's just my lazy day today. I closed so that we could work without anyone disturbing us."
"Good choice."
They ran up the stairs and went into Mayu's room.
Yuki thought the room suited Mayu. it was very frilly and pink and she had polka dot pillows, a lacey canopy, even a stuffed alpaca.
"Cute?"
"Yeah..."
"Alright, what should we do?"
Mayu sat down at her small table and opened a few books.
"Our teacher said we needed to do SOME kind of project for science, so we need to try and think of something legitimate..."
Yuki sat down beside her and looked through the books.
"What if we made a model of something?"
"Like what?"
"Hmm..."
She flipped through some of the pages and found something interesting.
"How 'bout...a volcano?"
"Eh?"
"We can do something on Mount Fuji and make a model of it!"
"Sounds good! ..Sounds good... Manatsu~ no Sounds Good!"
"Haha, that's cute, Mayu!"
She made a peace sign and the two started to write down a few notes to create a rough draft.
Yuki was really concentrating and was speeding through her papers.
She wrote so fast, you could see the smoke form on her pencil.
Mayu was floating the books around to look at the notes and writing them down.
A few hours past and they were starting to work on the model for the volcano.
Mayu got so tired from her amount of magic use, she became terribly sleepy and was losing focus. Yuki could tell, because she was bobbing her head a bit and her books were slowly falling down from midair.
"Mayu!"
"Eh?" Mayu woke up a bit, and all the books fell to the ground.
"Mayu, stay awake for me, 'kay?"
"Un..."
Yuki sat beside her and ran through the books again. Whenever Yuki saw Mayu starting to doze off and fall asleep, she shook her shoulder a bit. However, she couldn't help but admire the cuteness of her sleepy face.
*Yawn*
"Hey, Mayu... See if you can create something with your candy to help with the model," Yuki said, rubbing her now sleepy eyes.
"..Ah! Un."
She took out a cup of jello and when she smacked it down on the table, it reformed into a jello volcano. she poked it a bit, and jelly came out from the top.
"Uwaa~ Mayu, sugoi!"
"Thanks! I can make this jello into ANYTHING! Even..." She smacked it again and the jello formed a jello Mayu.
Yuki giggled with delight as she saw the jelly-like Mayu replica jiggle.
"One more?"
*Nods*
She smacked it one more time and it turned into a blob. She cut it in half and smacked the two smaller blobs.
One turned into Sae, and one turned into Yuki.
She took out some red licorice from her drawer and it magically attached to their heads, arms, and legs.
She made the two puppets bow and start dancing to some waltz music Mayu was humming.
"Hahaha! Kawaii~! Nee, do you and me!"
She smacked one of the puppets and it was the Yuki puppet that turned into Mayu.
"Oops."
"Oh, don't worry. You and Sae-kun are pretty cute together."
"Really?"
"Yeah, totally."
The two giggled a bit and start playing more with the jello puppets, creating endless stories of endless possibilities.
Yeah, right! Hello?! Forgetting something?!?!?! Mayuyu!!! YUKIRIN!!!!
Yuki slowly woke up.
The notes and books were scattered across the floor and the jello puppets were no longer moving.
...Or there...
Yuki felt like she was held by someone. She was still very shakey from waking up and was a bit dreamy.
"Sae...?"
She turned and saw, not Sae, but Mayu clinging around her waist.
"Sae~..."
"Mayu?"
She sat up a bit and saw the time. They must have stayed up all night and slept until morning.
"Oh, god! Mayu! Mayu, wake up!"
"..No, Mama... I wanna sleep with Sae~... Sae...."
"Mayu, I'm not Sae OR your mom! Mayu, we're late!"
Mayu's eyes slowly opened and she woke up.
"Eh?"
"We don't have a project and we NEED to go!"
Mayu's eyes popped and she screamed. Yuki rubbed her ears a bit and went black.
"Mou~ Mayu! Don't yell so early in the morning, you..!"
Mayu was crying and running around the room.
Yuki went soft and started comforting Mayu again.
"Okay, let's think. We have the notes and draft on volcanoes, so... what do we have for a model?"
"Uhh... *Sniff* Nothing."
Yuki groaned and hit her head on the table.
Then, Mayu thought of something. She rushed downstairs, and after a lot of weird sounds and noises, Yuki ran down to check up on her.
She then suddenly heard animal sounds as it went on. A cat, a lion, even an elephant.
"What the hell is she DOING?!?!?!"
She ran down to the shop and saw random objects flying out of the closet.
"Mayu, what are you doing?!"
She came out, waving her hand around her to get rid of the dust.
"It's a bit old, but.. *Cough* *Cough* it might just work if you give me a few minutes."
Yuki looked in the closet and saw a small fountain she saw in fancy restraunts(the kind that have chocolate fondue fountains :heart: ) and she smiled brightly.
"It's perfect! Oh~, thank you, Mayu!" she yelled as she hugged Mayu tight.
After some time past, the machine was all fixed.
They put it onto a roller, tied it to Yuki's bike, and rode down to the school.
Once they got there, they set up their booth and put a cardboard cone around the fountain to make it look like a volcano.
Mayu plugged the machine in and the chocolate came put perfectly.
"Yatta!"
They high-fived and hugged each other.
"Mayu-chan! You're the best!"
A sudden glow came from Mayu's pocket. The start badge changed into a slightly brighter orange color.
"Ah! That much closer!"
"Why did it shine right now?"
"When things got rough and push came to shove, you trusted me and we pulled through. Even though we got knocked down, we got back up and went on. That's life. Twists and turns, 'ya never know where we end up."
Yuki smiled and hugged Mayu.
"'Ya just gotta keep going..."

Chapter 11-Black makeover
Mayu and Yuki were walking through town when they ran into Sae.
"Sae-chan!"
Yuki ran over and hugged her happily.
It's been about a month since the two became a couple, but...
Yuki is still a bit embarrassed by the fact that Sae's a girl. She often blushes when they hug or kiss.
"I like your outfit today, Yukirin."
"Hey, don't say like. This is really lame!"
Sae held up her chin and stared into her eyes.
"You look beautiful either way..."
She softly kissed her lips, and it just made Yuki melt.
Mayu just stood and watched as the two kissed passionately.
She learned her lesson after knowing stealing Sae from Yuki broke her heart, so she decided to make Yuki and Sae a couple again, even if she had to endure endless pain.
Sae suddenly broke the kiss and looked at Yuki shyly.
"Ano... Yukirin..."
Yuki looked up, confused.
"Would you wanna... go on a date with me tomorrow?"
Yuki was already blushing, but she blushed even harder at that statement.
"Eh?! D-d-date? With me?"
"Yeah... I mean, we've been going out for a while now, so I just thought... Can we?"
"...Ah, yeah, I guess."
Sae smiled and hugged her tight, making her face turn as red as a tomato.
"Thanks, Yukirin!"
"..Hahaha, n-no prob..."
She broke the hug and looked at her watch a bit.
"Ahh~, I gotta go. I'll see ya tomorrow!"
She ran off and waved goodbye before turning back around and dashing down the street. Yuki just shyly waved back.
"Bye..."
As she watched her run off, she made a decision in her mind and turned to Mayu.
"Mayu, please do something!"
"...'Something' as in....what?"
"Anything! I can't handle this date alone! Please!"
She bowed down at a far angle, she even got on her knees and begged.
"Yu-Yu-Yukirin, people are staring!"
"PLEASE!!!"
"..Okay, okay, just stop!"
Yuki got up and hugged Mayu tight around her neck, almost choking her.
"Oh, THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!"
Mayu started coughing from lack of air and forcefully pushed her off.
"Okay, okay... *Cough* Let's go."
"Eh? Where?" Yuki asked as Mayu pulled her wrist.
"We're gonna give you a special makeover! Just for your and Sae's date."
Mayu brought her to the shop into a secret room.
It looked like a salon and there were many, many mirrors.
Yuki was looking around, amazed, when she heard a camera go off from somewhere.
She turned and saw Mayu taking pictures of her.
Yuki was so embarrassed, 'cause she felt awkward with Mayu taking pictures of her suddenly, plus she had no make-up on.
"This is your before picture."
"Mou~!"
"No buts about it, Yuki. This is so we can detect a change." she said pulling out the photo.
Yuki pouted and plopped down in a chair, only to have belts wrap around her wrists.
"HEY!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?!" she screamed as her black character came out.
"I don't want complaints."
"MAYUUUUUU!!!!!!"
Before Yuki knew it, as she was screaming, she felt Mayu flick something into her mouth. A gummy.
She chewed it a bit, tasting the juice, and swallowed it.
She suddenly felt light as a feather and her vision was blurry.
"..M-m-Mayu..."
"No complaints. Let me take car*******"
Yuki finally gave into the sweet syrup of the magic gummy candy and fell deep, deep asleep.
After an hour, Yuki woke up and rubbed her eyes, as her hands were untied.
She looked around and didn't see Mayu anywhere.
She got up and decided to look around the shop.
However, the candy shop was no longer existent and she was in someone's apartment.
The room and furniture was really clean and a bright white that blinded Yuki a bit.
She then heard another snapshot, but softer and more digital.
She turned and her eyes were wide open. She covered her mouth, gasping instead of screaming.
"M-Mayu?!"

Mayu was standing behind Yuki in a male doctor cosplay, taking pictures of her with Yuki's cellphone.
"You look beautiful as ever."
"Huh?"
She turned and saw herself in the mirror. She was beautiful, and her outfit made her look like an adult business woman.
"Wow. You did a good job, Mayu."
"What are you talking about, honey?"
"..Eh?"
There's a shock.
Since when does Mayu call her honey? They aren't married or anything.
SAE is her girlfriend.
"Yuki?"
Mayu came unknowingly closer and gave Yuki a strange look.
It was very gentle and caring, but also handsome and seductive.

"Is everything okay?"
"...Uh..."
Mayu kindly sat her down and pulled out a stethoscope.
"Will I have to give you a check up?"
Yuki was blushing like mad.
What is happening here? Why is Mayu suddenly acting like this?
She suddenly came in closer and placed her forehead against Yuki's.
"You have a fever."
"...N-n-n-n-no-o-o, I d-d-d-don-t-t...!"
Mayu pressed the stethoscope into Yuki's chest and listened to her heartbeat.
Then, she took her and Yuki's hand and put it onto hers.
"My heart's beating faster," she teasingly whispered with a grin.
"Mayu, stop. This is weird."
"Hm... It must be love sickness."
Yuki was trying to back away and run out the room, but Mayu grabbed her wrist and pulled her close, hugging her waist.
"I have the perfect cure."
She held Yuki's chin up and kissed her.
Mayu's lips were soft, delicately kissing Yuki's gentle lips.
Her lips were warm and felt good, but Yuki forcefully broke the kiss and ran away. She shut her eyes tight, touching her lips.
As she was running, she heard her footsteps echo and felt the scenery change into a long hallway.
When she stopped running and opened her eyes, she was in an unfamiliar school.
She looked out the window and saw Yankees fighting each other.
Yuki was frozen in fear. How did she get in this place?
She heard another snapshot and turned around.
Once again, Mayu was taking pictures of her.

"Mayu? What are you doing?"
Once the phone uncovered her face, she saw Mayu was chewing gum and her long hair was covered up, inside her hoodie.
Her outfit changed again and made her look more female, but her eyes...
There was darkness in her eyes.
An evil grin crept up her face as she walked closer.

"What are you calling me that for, Black?"
"Black?"
"Are..? You seem different than usual..." She cornered her into a wall and Yuki looked down as Mayu grabbed her collar.
Yuki was wearing the same uniform as Mayu, but she had a black jacket with some design on it and some of her hair was dyed red.
"What's wrong, Black? Cat got your tongue? Or, better yet..." She stood on her tiptoes and slowly began closing in the space between them. "Mouse got your tongue?"
She kissed her, but not like the Mayu before.
It was rough and a lot more deeper.
Mayu was sucking her lips, almost eating them, and bit her tongue a bit.
Yuki was trying to contain her moans, but it only got harder as the girl went on.
"Mayu... S.s-t-top... Ahh..."
Yuki can't breathe. She feels like she's gonna die in Mayu's kiss.
Her shaking hands reached up and pushed her off with all her strength, knocking her down.
"Haa.... Mayu... This is wrong..."
"...You traitor. Do you even know how I feel?"
"Eh?"
When she looked up, however, Mayu punched her right in the face.
Everything went dark.
When Yuki woke up, she was in a narrow room.
It was very futuristic, but also cold and lonely.
She heard some kind of beeping and when she turned around, she was truly amazed.

"Mayu..."
Mayu looked like someone out of a manga, and was playing with only a clear tablet.
"Mayu, you look amazing..."
She looked down and saw she was wearing an outfit similar to hers, but not exact.
It wasn't as... robotic.
"Mayu, what's happened to us? When I woke up, there was a male version of you, and then you were a Yankee, and..."
Her voice died down as she stared at Mayu more.
Her facial expression didn't change.
Emotionless. Blank.
Like a robot.
"Mayu? What's wrong? Say something."
Mayu didn't speak. Or rather, she couldn't.
Yuki could see emotion in her eyes; she was longing to talk to her.
"Mayu, speak to me!"
No answer still.
Yuki started crying as Mayu just stood there, blankly staring at her.
But, then she felt her caressing her head.
She looked up and saw Mayu smiling.
She started walking down the hallway, into a bright, white light.

Yuki followed Mayu and the two were swallowed up by the light.
When Yuki came out, she saw her structure changed into an animated version of herself.
She looked and saw Mayu was animated, too, surrounded by neon colored lights.
She took some green light and spelled out something.
"LOVE"

"Love? Mayu, what are trying to...?"
She came close and pressed her finger against her lips.
She softly kissed then, but she couldn't feel it.
She was only digital.
"Mayu... All this time..."
It's all coming together now.
Doctor Mayu, Yankee Mayu, Cyborg Mayu, and the original Mayu are all the same person.
Their personalities are different, but they have ONE soul thing in common.
"Mayu, you are... you're..."
She started feeling sleepy again, and saw Mayu disappear, shedding a single tear and smiling.
"..You're..."
"***** ****kirin! ***Yukirin!!!"
Yuki opened her eyes and saw Mayu, her Mayu, in front of her.
"Yukirin, you wouldn't wake up now matter what I did. Are you okay?"
"Uh, yeah... Just had a weird dream was all..."
"What dream?"
Yuki didn't want Mayu to hate her, so she decided to let it off.
"Mm-mm... It's nothing. I'll get over it."
She then saw herself in the mirror.
Her hair and makeup was amazing. She looked perfect.
"Mayu. This is amazing. But... But, why did you put me to sleep?"
"I didn't want you to freak out over anything that I'd do. I wanted to do ANYTHING to make you look perfect. Also, I just wanted to surprise you."
"It's perfect." She ran up and hugged Mayu tight, making the young witch blush. "Thank you."
"..Ufufu, you're welcome, Yukirin."
Yuki's POV
I don't understand what went on in that dream.
It didn't make sense.
But, I thought it out later that night. I came up with certain explanations.
First, the male doctor Mayu.
She, or "he", was very caring and gentle, because he knew how to care for people.
Maybe, he was Mayu's desire to protect me and make me feel better.
Next, the Yankee Mayu.
She's about as strange as my Mayu and is pretty much a tsundere.
She hides her gentle side with her roughness.
She's probably Mayu's wish to be strong, but still has a softer inner character. She doesn't want to show it.
Finally, the Cyborg Mayu.
Cyborg Mayu doesn't have emotion, but I could tell she wants to be true to herself.
That's why she wrote... that word.
She represents Mayu longing to be free and let everyone know who she is, no matter if people accept her or not.
...But...
There's still one thing I wanna know.
Does my Mayu... the original Mayu feel the same as the ones in my dream?
Is Mayu... in love with me?

Chapter 12-Black's first date
Today was Yuki's first date with Sae, and Mayu intended to make it perfect by all means.
As Yuki and Sae left, she snuck out and followed them to Shibuya.
She felt they needed a new choice of fashion, cause they both looked ridiculous!
...Well, Sae, anyways.
Sae looked like a dork with a plaid shirt, matching bow tie, and shorts with suspenders.
Her sneakers looked like they were from the 50s, and her hair was a wild, but still gorgeous, mess!
Yuki didn't seem to care, though, and she made up excuses to try and go back and change.
She probably wanted to bail cuz she was so embarrassed.
Mayu did in the alleys and watched them carefully, she had to make sure they'd have a perfect day.
By all means necessary...
Once they got into a new shop, they started looking for clothes.
Problem was, Sae had NO sense of fashion, and was giving Yuki a bunch of weird combos.
On top of that, Yuki was blinded by the embarrassment and handsomeness of Sae and went along with them.
"Yukirin, you idiot! You're gonna look like a total fool wearing those!"
Mayu saw some really cute clothes on a mannequin and decided to use her magic and push it towards them.
But, instead, her magic bounced to the cashier and she went wild.
"Attention, all shoppers, everything is now on sale!!!!"
She picked up random clothes and started throwing them everywhere, not a care in the world.
They were all getting tangled together and even smacked around onto people's faces, but the magic was too strong.
Mayu smacked her head.
"Damn it! Stupid wand, look what you made me do!"
The cashier finally bumped straight into a mannequin and came to her senses.
However, at the same time, the mannequin fell off and almost hit Yuki, if it wasn't for Sae coming to save the day.
"Oh god, thanks, Sae."
Sae leaned back a bit, helping the mannequin stand back up.
"Hey, how much for one of these?"
"Oh, that's part of the 'Buy one, get one 50% off' sale for this summer."
"Yukirin, want one o' these?"
"Ah! Sure!"
Luckily, Sae actually made a good choice, and chose a perfect dress that fitted Yuki's style perfectly.
Mayu got out before they could find anything else. She didn't want to blame for anything.
She leaned against a wall and sighed with relief.
"I need this wand repaired soon..."
After they finished shopping, they both came out with new clothes on.
Yuki looked like an elegant young lady from a rich family palace, and Sae looked like a cool, celebrity type of boy...
Well, boy/girl ikemen.... >/////<
Mayu couldn't help but blush seeing them.
Her heart was beating so fast when she saw Yuki like that. She was more beautiful than ever.
"Looks like the makeover paid off."
On the other side, Sae kept complimenting Yuki like a pure ikemen, and whenever she wrapped her arm around her, Yuki blushed to high heavens.
"..Oh? Hahaha, Yukirin, you're red."
"Ahh!" Yuki quickly covered up her cheeks, nuzzling her head against Sae's shoulder.
Mayu was suddenly feeling a strange heat in her chest.
Before she knew it, her wand sparked on its own and a ball of lightning leaked out.
It bounced on the walls and hit a banana in a fruit cart.
The banana unpeeled itself, and it fell to the ground, making Sae trip.
"Uwa!!!" Sae's leg fell straight up and she fell on her butt.
"Woah! You okay?"
"Ita ta ta... Y-yeah, I'll be alright..."
She got up, rubbing her butt, and started walking again.
Mayu got mad and started batting at her wand.
"Mou~ this thing is busted today, really! Do I need to get a new one already?"
As she hit it, another spark flew and went into a window.
A metal tub floated out and fell right in front of Sae, just missing her.
"Kyaa!" Yuki screamed and hugged Sae.
Mayu was blushing mad now, cuz Yuki was so close to... well, Sae's.. her chest.
Then, she unknowingly shook in excitement and the wand sparked again.
This time, a tub came out and hit Yuki, knocking her out cold.
"Yuki!"
"Oh no... This is bad."
Yuki woke up, she was laying down on a bench in the empty park. The first thing that caught her eyes was the sunset.
She felt someone's hand on her head.
She looked around a bit and got up. She was lying on Sae's lap.
"Sae?"
Sae was fast asleep, because she got impatient for Yuki to wake up.
Yuki shook her shoulder a bit, but it did no good.
She touched her lips a bit, turning a light pink, and slowly came closer. She softly kissed Sae's plump cheek and she woke up.
"Huh? Yukirin?" She yawned a bit, stretching her arms. "You're up..."
"What happened?"
"A metal tub came out of nowhere and hit you smack in the head."
Yuki turned tomato red as she remembered what had happened. After Yuki got knocked out, Sae must've carried her ALL the way here.
And she doesn't wanna even KNOW how Sae carried her.
"You look so cute when you're asleep, y'know?"
"Eh?"
Sae gave her a warm smile and patted her head.
"Do you have an older brother?"
Yuki got pink again.
"Y-yeah. W-why?"
"Because, you're SO much like a little sister."
Yuki bit her lip, giggling a bit. She's never shown such a gentle side to anyone, especially Sae.
Mayu, hiding behind the trees, decided to take one more chance with her wand.
"Before this magic runs out, please. I beg you once more."
She gathered up every last ounce of energy in the wand and shot it up into the sky.
"Make it sunny, cheerful, and bright. This should turn this date around!"
However, unlike her prediction, loud thunder crashed as the lightning spread into the sky.
The grey clouds got darker and it started raining.
The two girls started getting soaked in the hard rain and quickly ran under a tree.
Yuki stomped her foot and pouted, really upset.
"Mou~ What the hell is this rain?! And our clothes... We were gonna go to a karaoke box! They won't let us in like this!!!"
"Yukirin..."
"What?"
Sae was smiling for some reason, staring at the rain.
"I like the rain."
"But, our date, it's..."
"It was fun!"
"EH?!"
Sae jumped up and picked two apples from the tree.
She bit one and handed the other to Yuki.
"Today was fun, no matter what happened."
Yuki sighed leaning up against the tree.
"I don't get romance at all. Love is so difficult."
"..Well, y'know what?" Sae said as she slowly approached Yuki again. "I don't care, as long as it's you."
Yuki smiled and hugged Sae tight. Even after being soaked in the rain, she felt so warm and comforting.
Sae lifted her head up and kissed her passionately.
Sae's lips tasted sweet from the apple, but also a bit salty from the rain, but it couldn't get any more deliciously irresistible in Yuki's eyes.
The two made out under the harsh rain, which only became a rhythm to match their heartbeats.
Mayu's POV
I just don't get it!
My magic has failed me all day!!
I only wanted to do the best for Yuki... What is going on?!
I took out something in my pocket.
They were special sugar cubes I made. When you suck on them, a gumball comes out, and the color and flavor represents your mood.
I held one out in my fingers. You need to ask a question to get the answer.
"Why did my magic make bad things happen?"
I popped it in my mouth and started sucking it.
Once the sugar faded, a sour taste hit my mouth.
I spat it out in my hand and a lime green gumball came out.
Lime green: Jealousy
"Jealous? I'm jealous? Why?!"
I popped another in, and this time it tasted sweeter than cotton candy.
I spat it out and this time, the gumball was pink.
"Pink? Shy? Embarrassed?"
Rose pink: In love
"What?! No way! That can't be right! I'm not in love with Sae!"
I broke up with Sae. I had to.
I can't be in love with Sae, because if Sae was under the spell and me and her were still dating, it would upset...!
