Had a sudden urge to rank KSS after seeing clips from the diagnostic tests.
1-5 = Should definitely debut
9 = Taguchi tier (has qualities that I find endearing, but questionable star potential)
10-16 = I like them a little bit
18-21 = didn't make much of an impression
27 = retirees

Uh oh!

Among kenshuusei, my top favs turned out to be...

#1 Kaede Kaga (overtaken Kurumin! adorable and skilled)
#2 Kurumin (I feel like she'll be another fav that never debuts, sigh, but she works hard and is a stable deliverer imo, and I like how expressive her face is)
#3 Rikako (just too cute and quite reliable, hasn't improved her skills as fast as I thought however, so ganbatte)
#4 Kisora (my pick for quirky cute weirdo I randomly like a lot)
#5 Runrun (great vocals and great smile)
#6 Kishimon (she has risen a lot - I always thought she was cute but I didn't really care, suddenly I actually notice her and find her super adorable)
#7 Maria (has lost some of my previous attention but I still think she's one of the prettiest trainees)
#8 Murotan (somehow she commands respect)
#9 Wadasaku (I thought she improved her vocals a lot, but is still endearingly clumsy-ish. I like variety in H!P characters and she is somehow unique)

So these are the ones I have bonus attention and bias on. Kind of awkwardly cut off at 9, but since I wouldn't call #10 "one of my favs" (it was Nanamin), I didn't include her and the ones after.

Trainee Ranking
1. Yamaki Risa (She was my favorite 12th gen finalist. I love her voice and everything!)
2. Murota Mizuki (She was my fav after Kaneko Rie until Yamaki won me over but I still love her and want her to debut soon.)
3. Funaki Musubu (Super cute and actually a pretty good singer for her age.)
4. Fujii Rio (One of my favs from the S/mileage auditions, the other being Sakura, I love her singing and her dancing.)
5. Taguchi Natsumi (Another cutie who somehow draws me to her.)
6. Sasaki Rikako (I just love how energetic she is. There is just something about her.)
7. Hamaura Ayano (She reminds me of a cute little hamster. I love cutesy idols and she is cutesy.)
8. Kishimoto Yumeno (She has grown on me a lot recently.)
9. Tanabe Nanami (The first person to join H!P after I became a part of the fandom. She has grown so much and I really want to see her debut.)
10. Ogawa Rena (She's so sweet and I love her voice because of it.)
11. Makino Maria (I think she's so adorable and I think she knows she is. She can quickly become a center should in any group she joins or at least a main girl.)
12. Yoshihashi Kurumi (She is a great performer and I think she would be in the background in any group she joins sadly.)
13. Inaba Manaka (Very cute and I think she will debut in the next group.)
14. Ichioka Reina (Cute but I don't think she will debut any time soon sadly. I think she is very unique though.)
15. Nomura Minami (She has gotten a lot better since she joined and is very cute but is kinda a background girl.)
16. Wada Sakurako (She has a weird but charming quality about her.)
17. Tanaka Karen (She's beautiful and part of me wants her to be a soloist but if not I can see her in a cool group.)
18. Kaga Kaede (I love how deep her voice is despite her cute looks. I want her to be in a big group for some reason.)
19. Haga Akane (She's cute but I think later on she will be a cool beauty. Not really a center type girl but maybe someone that is like secondary vocals.)
20. Oura Hirona (She has star potential. I think she is cute but not my type.)
21. Inoue Hikaru (Cute but not my type of member. She seems to have a unique about her though.)
22. Yamagishi Riko (She has a cuteness to her. I like her voice.)
23. Niinuma Kisora (Super cute singing voice. She has grown on me since she joined.)
24. Danbara Ruru (Amazing singer! I want to be a soloist honestly. I believe she can be a wonderful solo artist. I look forward to see where they put her.)
25. Mikame Kana (I like how she seems to have a funny personality. I want to see how she develops.)
26. Yokogawa Yumei (She's pretty and cute but she still has to improve. I just want to see how things turn for her.)

Everyone has potential and I want them all to debut but I know that might not be realistic.

Observations:

• I think I need to buy a rack for all these ties! But hey, nobody got stuck with zero points this time! And the lack of Berryz, Up Up Girls, or Trainees made this list a lot less overwhelming.
• Speaking of zero points, last time I did this it was Sayubee who got stuck with the lone zero, but this time she's tied for 10th with 4 other girls. Started from the bottom now she's here! Other notable rises are Maachan and Sakura, displacing Eripon's position amongst the Musumes.
• My C-ute and S/mileage Angerme rankings remain steady, but the presence of Juice=Juice has disrupted things a bit.
• Once again, noobs tended to rank low for me by default. 12th gen round out the bottom of my Momusu rankings, while Country Girls and Kobushi Factory are currently at the bottom of my overall rankings (though each with notable exceptions).
• Still, the lack of Berryz is painful.

How do you guys still manage to do these rankers? As the years pass, more & more of my favorite graduates get omitted & the list get populated with more & more "who are these peoples" whom I know nothing about.

In fact, I haven't been able to complete a ranker since Ogawa Sakichy left the company!
