The L Word
Walking into Miki’s trailer Yossi and Aya were ready to confess their love. They were two days away from going on tour and it could not wait any longer.
“Come in guys. I’m glad you’re here’
“We need to talk to you about something Miki.”
“Okay but I need to talk to you guys first. Something happen to Reina, she was rapped. She’s only told Ai, and she thought it would be a smart decision to tell me.”
The two girls stood speechless.
How could someone do something like this to a sweet girl like Reina.
“WHAT?!” about to explode Yossi was pacing the room.
“When did this happen? Do they have the guy?”
“I knew Reina would be going through a lot right now, Ai and me went to the police to report it. They have a guy in custody; three other girls identified him for the same charge. It was in the same location, the chances are it is the same guy.”
Aya stood silent.
You hear about this on the news, but I never thought it would happen to someone I know and care about.
“Yossi, you know Reina better, I was hopping you would come help me get her to go in the station to identify him”

Reina’s apartment door was open; Ai’s car was parked outside. The three girls let themselves in.
“Reina? It’s Miki.” Aya, Yossi and Miki heard voices coming from the bedroom.
As they knocked they heard Ai’s voice.
“Come in”
Sitting on the bed Reina was curled up crying; Ai was holding her close and stroking her hair.
Miki and Aya stood at the doorway. Yossi approached the bed and say down, pulling Reina into her arms and hugging her softly.
“I know you must be hurting, but we really need you to come with us and identify the guy”
Tears fled her.
I don’t ever want to see him again.
“We will all be there for you. Please come, no one wants to see this guy go free.”
Softly lifting her up onto her feet Yossi stepped back. Falling down she winced in pain.
Picking her up again, Yossi was confused why Reina was in pain.
Looking at Ai for help she stood on the floor crying. Moving closer she held her tight.
“Guys it’s not that simple, she needs to rest right now, she just came back from the hospital”
The three girls weren’t sure what had happen, but soon they all realised that Reina had been pregnant, and had an abortion.
Deciding that Ai would be fine taking care of her they said goodbye and gave Reina their best.
Lying in bed next to Reina, Ai realised how much it hurt to see her suffer. Her heart felt sharp pains and anxiety came over her having not said this to anyone in years…
“I love you…”
