I only went to the expos here for the first 1-2 years they started. Only been to one video game expo in the past 4 years.
Only get a sense of a packed area full of sweaty ppl pushing ppl, and little of interest.
I do like HK cosplayers though, cos they really put a lot of effort into the costumes.
Will check it out just for Shokotan though.
Hope it's a full-on concert. But I'll keep my hopes low, cos guests normally just sing a song or two unless they announce it as a separate event with a separate price. Only good thing from that would be photo'ing allowed.
Thanks for the info about the convention. I still wish I could go even if for only 1 or 2 songs ;;
The schedule does seem very short though according to the fan club website.
Hopefully there will at least be some coverage of the event and videos of the songs she sings.
Shoko's Pokomon cd release comes out on 15th July [I thought it was this month ]
01. 心のアンテナ
02. せーので恋しちゃえ_●
03. 硝子のプリズム
04. 心のアンテナ -Haruomi Hosono Original Mix-
Track 3 might be a Seiko Matsuda cover, either that or it's just coincidentally the same title.
I thought it was this month too lol
I kept asking my friends why the PV hasn't aired yet until I realized I was wrong about the month
The covers are already up on her discography page here:
http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/Music/Arch/SR/ShokoNakagawa/#The third track is definitely a Seiko cover
Information for the CD's tracklist lists the song as written by Matsumoto Takashi who was the writer for the original song and many other Seiko songs (and Kirei A La Mode
)
Also, Magical Tour 2009 concert is being broadcast on NHK on 7/26!!!
http://blog.excite.co.jp/shokotan/2873418/The broadcast is kind of late though lol (at midnight)
It's the last one performed in NHK Hall
This is also the concert where Shokotan sang 21 songs during the Magical Anisong Medley (she only sang around 9-10 anisongs for the other concerts)
If you include all the short versions and songs that were sung again (Sorairo Days and Namie were sung again during the encore), Shokotan sang 43 songs in total!!!
Hopefully there will be a recording of it, I need to watch it over and over for a whole day
They only thing I didn't like about Magical Tour was that Brilliant Dream wasn't included in the set list
Shokotan should have sang the full version of Mitsubachi no Sasayaki as well since both songs seems like they're fan favorites
Still, I have nothing to complain about, Magical Tour 2009 was awesome the way it was
Even watching last year's concert is kind of stale now since Magical Tour 2009 was so awesome ;;
I can't wait to see this broadcast to relive the memories
I had trouble watching the video of AX08 since it brought back so much memories ;;
I might get the same feelings for the Magical Tour 2009 broadcast
