Thank you everyone for reading my fic
This is part 2
Part 2
The next dayToday, I also go there to meet her. When I sit down, she turns and gives me a lunch box with a big smile.
“I made it. It didn't look good though. I will do my best next time” she said
“She actually did that” I thought in surprise
I see that fingers on her both hands was bandaged. I feel my heart tightens when seeing that.
“She did this for me.” I thought
I take the box and open it. It was a little burn, but it smells good. I take a bite and put down the box
“Too salty. How can it eat this?” I said
“I’m sorry. I will do better next time.” She said
“Water” I said shortly
“I will buy for you” she said and stands up
“She didn’t even get mad at me. Why?” I thought
I feel like I’m a bad person in this whole thing. I look down at the lunch box which she made for me. It is a little salty, but it is good. I take it and eat all of it. At the same time, she comes back with a bottle of water in her hand. She is panting while giving me the bottle.
“Here Minami” she gives me the bottle
“Thank you” I said shortly
Then she looks at the empty lunch box. She smiles brightly.
“Uhm…a little salty but I can eat it” I said and turn away
“Thank you, Minami. I will do my best next time” she happily said
My heart sudden skips a beat when seeing her innocent smile. Then the bell rings. I just stand up and walk back to my class. On my way back to my class, I thought
“Why did I have a feeling that the things I heard about her and the real her is way too different”
Then every day, she will cook for me. Her food is getting more delicious every day. However her fingers still have a lot of bandaged.
Then one day
At lunchI also come to the school backyard.
“Hello Minami” She smiles brightly at me
“Here is your lunch” she said and gives me the box
I look at her hands. I don’t want her to do this anymore. I feel hurt when seeing her hurt like this. I take the box and put it down. I look at her
“You should stop doing this” I said to her
“You don’t like it?” She asks me sadly
“No, I just don’t want to see your bandaged hands.” I said
“I also can feel your exhausted eyes. I guess you have to wake up earlier than you used to, right?” I continue
“Uh” She nods
“That is why I want you to stop. I don’t want you to get sick” I said
“Minami, you are worry about me. Thank you” she smiles and said
“I’m your boyfriend after all” I said and look away to hide my embarrass
I don’t know why, but I feel like I want to bring that words up. While spacing out, I feeling some soft touch my check
“Atsuko kissed me” I thought
My heart suddenly beats faster again. I can feel my face getting hot. I turn and look at her. My cheek still feel her kiss.
“Thank you, Minami” she smiles brightly at me
This time I can see crinkle on her nose. That is so cute.
“Ah..Uh…n…n..no problem” I can’t say anything
Then the bell rings. She stands up and smiles at her
“Bye Minami, see you tomorrow” She said and goes back to her class
I still stun with what just happened. I touch my cheek where she kissed me while looking at her back.
“This feeling” I thought while touching my chest
After school
I just go back to my house as usual. My mind is filled with her smile. On my way home, I try to look for a job. However, I found none.
“Finding a job is getting harder and harder every day.” I thought and sign
Then I continue walking back to my house. Suddenly I hear a loud horn. I turn and look at the road. I see someone rushing to middle of the road. Then I realize
“Atsuko”
“What is she doing?” I thought
The truck is approaching her with high speed. I quickly rush to her and push her to the other side. She and I both fall on the ground. I sit up and yell at her
“Are you crazy? Why did you rush into the middle of the road and stand there? Do you want to die?”
My heart beats so fast. My hands still shaking
“I’m sorry” she said in broken tone
She sits up and looks down. Then I see a little white puppy in her arms. I realize something.
“Did you just save the little puppy?” I ask her in gentle tone
“Yes, when I was walking, I saw him standing in the middle of the road at lost. I think I should rush to save him before he gets hit by the truck” she answers me in small tone.
I scold myself for being stupid. I want to slap my face right now. Why did I fast judge her? Why did I believe in those rumors? She is a kind-hearted girl. Why did I put her in the same place as her father and hate her.
“I’m sorry for troubling you, Minami” she said and sobs
“It is ok. I’m sorry for yelling at you, Atsuko” I lift her face up and said while wiping her tear.
“Then you are not mad at me right?” She smiles and said
“Uh, I’m not" I said
“That is great.” she happily said
I look at her and smile. She seems to be surprised
“Minami, you are smiling” she said to me
“Uh? What’s wrong?” I ask
“You smile at me?” she asks
“Uh” I nod
“Minami, this is the first time I see you smile at me. Thank you” she happily said
I stun with her words.
“She is happy just because a simple thing” I thought
“What have I done for all those time?” I said to myself
She is so pure and innocent. I hate myself for hating her without any reason. When I look at her, I see she holds the puppy up at her face.
“You are safe now. That is good right” she smiles and said to him
*woof* *woof* *woof*
He barks to thank her. Then he licks her nose. She laughs softly.
“Where is your family, little puppy?” She asks him
Then she looks at his collar. He didn't wear anything which means he doesn't have an owner.
“You don’t have a home huh?” She asks him, and he barks
“How about go home with me? I have a lot of friends. I will introduce you to them.” She smiles and said
I smile when looking at her like this. Suddenly, I notice blood on her arm. I quickly take the little guy from her hands and put on my laps. She looks at me with confused look. Then I take her arm to check
“Ouch” she frowns because of hurt
“My home is near here, let me take you to my house and treat your wound” I said to her
“No, it is fine. I don't want to trouble you. You are also busy, right? I see you go around finding a job" she said
"No, I'm done. Just go to my house." I said and stand up.
I hug the little puppy in my arm. My other hand, I pull her with me. After a while, we reach my house. I open the door for her. She walks in and looks around.
"Come with me" I said and pull her to the bathroom
I turn on the water at the sink. Her arm is still bleeding. I feel sad when seeing her hurt like this.
“It will hurt a little” I said to her
She nods at me
Then I take a cup and pour water on her wound. I do it gently so that she wouldn't feel so hurt. After drying her wound, I take her to my living room. I take the medical box and treat her arm. I clean her wound again by rubbing alcohol. The liquid makes her frown because of hurt. I bend down and blow gently to ease her pain. When I look up, I see a little pink on her cheeks.
"Somehow looking at her like this, she is so cute." I thought and smile in my head.
Then I take the bandage to bandage her arm.
"Done" I said
"Thank you, Minami" she smiles and said to me
“You’re welcome” I said to her
Then I take the medical box and stand up
"Minami, where is your parents?" she asks me
"They were dead in a car accident 2 years ago" I said while putting back the medical box
"I'm sorry" she said in small tone
I turn and look at her. She looks sad
"It is ok. Don't be sad" I said and smile at her
"That must be really hard, right?" she asks me
"Uh. However, I have to do my best no matter what. My dream is to be a doctor. So if I don’t’ do my best, I can’t achieve my dream in the future" I said
"Do your best, Minami. I will always support you. I believe that you can do it. After all you are the top student at school. Also, in my heart, you are the best" she smiles at me and said
My heart once again beats faster. I want to pull her in my embrace.
“Come here little puppy” she calls
Then she picks the puppy up and puts on her laps. She strokes his head and said
"You must be sad. Staying all alone"
"Uh, a little. But I'm used to it" I smile at her
"Minami, do you like him?" she asks me
"Uh, he is cute" I said
"How about he will be your friend here? So that you won’t feel lonely anymore." she said to me and smiles
"But he is your dog" I said
"Just see him as my gift for you." she smiles and gives him to me
*woof* *woof* *woof*
He barks and licks my cheek
"Welcome to my house, buddy" I said and pat his head
"Minami" she calls me
I look up at her. I see that she is looking down
"What is it, Atsuko?" I ask her
"If possible....can I also visit your house?" she said in small tone
I smile and said
"Of course you can"
"Really, thank you" she smiles happily and said
She stays in my house for awhile then I walk her home. She refused, but I insist. After awhile, we reach her house. When we are at the gate, a middle aged woman rushes to her
“Atsuko-sama, where have you been? What took you so long?” she said in worry tone.
“I just came to my boyfriend’s house for awhile. Sorry, I forgot to call you” she said to her
“It is ok. You are safe is all matter.” she said
“Minami let me introduce her. She is my nanny, Eri. She takes care of me since I was born.” Atsuko said to me
“Eri, this is my boyfriend, Minami” she happily introduces me.
“Hello, my name is Takahashi Minami” I greet and bow at her
“Hello Minami-sama. You don’t have to do that” she smiles at me
“Oh my, you got a boyfriend already. That is why you woke up so early every day to….”
“Hush Eri. If you said out loud everyone will hear that. What if they tell Papa and Mama. Also, I told you to keep that as secret between us” Atsuko stops her and said in whisper tone.
However, I heard all of that. I feel sad when she has to do all of that just for my sake. Suddenly her nanny gasps in surprise
“Atsuko-sama, your arm”
“I’m fine. It is just a scratch” she said
“No, you are hurt. I will call your personal doctor to check on you. What if the wound get worse? ” she said in worry tone
“I’m fine, Eri. Minami already treated it. He will be a doctor in the future, so everything will be fine” she smiles brightly and said
I feel embarrassed when she said that. Her nanny looks at her and smiles.
“Atsuko-sama, why don’t you go back into the house and get changed. I will tell the maids to prepare dinner for you and Minami-sama” she said
“No, it’s fine. I will go home now” I said
“Minami, can you stay here? I want to eat dinner with you” she said to me with pleading eyes
Somehow I can’t deny her eyes
“Ok, I will” I said
“That is great. I will be right back” she said and rushes to the house.
Before she goes, she turns around and said
“Eri, can you take Minami to the backyard for me. I want to introduce my friends to him” she continues
“Ok, Atsuko-sama” she said
“Her friends?” I thought
“What should I do? How should I act before them? I guess her friends will be a bunch of rich girls and boys” I thought
Seem to realize my thought, Eri-san said to me
“Don’t worry, Minami-sama. Her friends are very friendly” she said and smiles
Walking for a while, I suddenly hear a lot of barking and meowing sound.
“What is it?” I thought in confuse
Then Eri-san takes me to a big garden. I see a lot of cats and dogs. I look at Eri-san with confused look. She looks at me and smiles.
“They are her friends” she said
“You can say that Atsuko-sama doesn't really have a friend. Except you are her boyfriend now” Eri-san said to me
I widen my eyes in surprise
“Since she was born until now, most of her time she spends is at home. Even studying, she used to only study at home.” Eri-san said
“Why didn’t she go outside?” I ask her
“Her parents won’t allow her.” She said
I’m surprised
“Atsuko-sama is a premature baby. She was born about two months early.” She said
“No wonder she look so fragile and skinny” I thought
“When her father took her mother to the hospital for weekly check, a drunk driver dangerously passed their car and changed the lane. His car hit hard at the top of her parents car. Her father lost control, and their car rushed down into the side of the road and hit a tree.” she said
“Master is ok. However, the impact affected mistress and the baby. Master quickly rushed out of the car and called emergency and police. He tried to take her out of the car, but the door was stuck. After awhile, the ambulance with the police finally came. It took them quite some time to get her out. At that time, she already fainted because of tired” she continues
“Her mother was immediately taken to the biggest hospital. Because of the impact, the doctor had to take Atsuko-sama out early. If not both of them might die. When she was born, she was really weak. At that time, the doctor thought that she couldn’t be alive. She was taken to a very special care for several months. Fortunately, she was alive. Her parents was very happy about that” She told me about the story
“However, because of that, her health is weaker than a normal person. Therefore, her parents take care of her very careful.”
“Also because of that, her parents are very protective over her, and they won’t allow her to do anything or go anywhere.” she said to me
I’m very surprise.
“Because can’t go outside, sometime Atsuko-sama looked very sad whenever her parents weren’t home. Luckily, she didn’t have any allergy with animals. Therefore, her parents bought a lot of pets to play with her. That way she will not feel lonely when they aren’t home.” she said to me
Eri-san’s words remind what Atsuko said to me
“You must be sad. Staying all alone”“She is just like me. She is always alone. No she must feel lonelier than me” I thought
Then I look at Eri-san
"Can you tell me more about Atsuko? I want to know about her more" I said
I really want to know more about her, every little thing about her
“Uh, When she was 7, her health suddenly got worse. She has to stay in hospital for one year. Thanks to the advance of medical in French, she is fully recovered.” Eri-san said
“France?” I said in surprise
“Uh, there is one time, she and her parent moved to Paris for Master’s business.” she said
“After that, her health is getting better and better every day. Though her health is better, her parents didn’t let her go to school until two years ago. Because she only studies at home, she doesn’t know how to interact with people. That is why they categorize her as an egoist Ojousama. Although she didn’t say anything, I knew she is really sad” she said in sad tone
I look down when hearing what Eri-san said. I feel guilty because I’m the one who think of her that way, too.
“Thank you Minami-sama” she sudden said to me
I look up in surprise
“Thank you for making her more cheerful. These weeks, Atsuko-sama seems to be very happy. She talks more at home. I knew you are the one who makes her that happy.” she said
“I did” I thought in surprise
“The only thing I did to her is trying to hurt her feeling” I thought
I feel angry at myself
“Though I’m against her wake up so early to cook because of her health. She also has to hide this from her parents because they forbidden her to go to the kitchen. I still teach her to cook because she looks very happy when she is doing that” she said
“I’m not that good. It was me who forced her to cook. It was me who treated her badly. I’m the worst” I thought while holding my fists tightly
“Minami-sama, please love her and take good care of her. I take care of her since she was born. By looking at her, I knew she loves you very much and is happy when you are around” she said
“Uh, I will definitely make her happy with all I got” I said firmly.
“Thank you, Minami-sama” she said
Then I see Atsuko rushes to me
“Minami, let’s go” she holds my hand and pulls me with her
“Have fun, Atsuko-sama, Minami-sama” Eri-san said to us
Then I stay at her house and play with her and her pets. After dinner, I return home
“Bye Minami” Atsuko said
“Uh, bye Atsuko. See you tomorrow” I said to her
Then I leave. Suddenly something flashes on my head. I turn and call her
“Atsuko”
“Huh? What is it, Minami?” Atsuko asks
“What is your favorite food? I will cook for you tomorrow” I said and smile at her
“Really, Minami?” She asks me happily
“Uh” I nod
“Anything, I will eat anything you cook” She happily said
“Ok” I smile and said
Then I leave her house.
“Her smile, just by looking at her happy smile, I feel so great.” I thought and smile
That night I go back to my house and sleep happily with my new doggy friend.
The next dayWhen I come to the school backyard, I see that she is sleeping soundly. I smile and walk closer to her. I sit down next to her and look at her sleeping face. Her face looks so cute. Because the weather is a little cold, I take out my jacket and carefully put on her. I slowly pull her head down on my shoulder for her to sleep more comfortably. Sitting by her side like this makes me very happy. I slowly lean down and kiss her forehead.
“Looking at you like this, you look so fragile. I want to become a strong person to protect you. I will make this shoulder stronger for you to lean on forever” I stroke her hair and whisper.
Then I take out my book and read. After awhile, I feel her moving her head.
“Uhm” she sits up and rubs her eyes.
Then she yawns. Her action looks very cute
“Hello, Atsuko. Do you get enough of sleep?” I ask her gently
“Uh,” she nods
Then she quickly turns to me
“Minami, you came. Since when?” she said in surprise tone
“Uh, I came here a long time ago. When I came here, I saw my cute little girlfriend is sleeping soundly” I said and pinch her nose
She blushes and looks down shyly
“You are so cute, Atsuko” I said and smile at her
“Are you hungry Atsuko? Here is your lunch” I said and give her the lunch box
“Thank you Minami” She happily said
I sit and nervously waiting for her to eat my cook.
“Delicious Minami. It is very delicious” She happily said
I sigh in relief
“I’m glad you like it” I said
After finishing her food, we sit back and talk
“Minami, how is the little puppy?” She asks me
“Pretty good. I think he like my place” I said
“That is great. I want to meet him” Atsuko happily said
“How about I bring him to your house to see your friends sometime?” I said
“That is great Minami” She said
Then she happily tells me a lot of things about her pets. Looking at her like that, she is very cute. So pure and innocent.
“I finally know the feeling inside me” I thought and smile
“Minami, you know whamhmm…”
Haven’t let her finish her words, I pull her closer to me and kisses her lips gently. I can feel her gasp in surprise. But then she slowly replies my kiss. I pin her on the tree and kiss her more wildly and roughly. She hugs my neck to deepen our kiss. I press my body against her and kiss her more passionate and intense. After awhile, we break the kiss because we need air. Looking at her, her face is all red. That is so cute.
“You are so cute, Atsuko” I said to her while caressing her face and stroking her hair.
She blushes madly at my statement. Then the bell rings
"See you later, Atsuko. Today, let go home together" I said and peck on her lips again
When I’m about to go, she catches my hand. I turn around and look at her with confused look.
"Minami" she calls me softly
"What is it, Atsuko?" I ask her gently
"Do you.....really love me, Minami?" she asks me
