Aaliyah...5 Years Later

R&B Singer Aaliyah passed away today. (January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001) Still missing you. Man, I remember it was like yesterday....hearing it over the radio.

Her acting career was aight...starred with Jet Li and DMX in laugher...then in the Anne Rice Vampire movie.

Anyway, I never really followed her stuff until after she died, which is really sad :/ I liked her singing although I never really heard much of it -_-;

I remember the shit like it was yesterday too, was watching MTV when they first said something about it. I thought they playing around. It was right before the first day of school of my senior year. Now I see they got these wannabes out here trying but nobody can take her place.

2001 was a bad bad year. She died around the same time the 9/11 attacks happened..

I thought she died on 9/11. That's what I get for believing a rumour. She will always be missed, for she was the Qween of the Damned. Damn, that movie rocked.
