Nogizaka46 members Shiraishi Mai and Nishino Nanase will be double CENTER of their 17th Single (TBA). It was announced in TV Show "Nogizaka Under Construction".
17th single's selection members:

Nogizaka46 17th single title "Influencer"
Nogizaka46 17th single's title has been announced in 5th Year Birthday Live, the title will be "Influencer". The single will be released on 22 March 2017.

They are going a little too safe. Maybe they were just the right members for the theme of the song. Timing in "The Great Nogi Plan" to rule everything. Dunno. :lol:
Unlike AKB, I feel current Nogi46 has the fantastic problem of having too many high potential girls. :P
Any particular member/s you want to see get a chance at center?

It is safe for Nogi menegement, they are the most popular members right now but (just like you said) they've got many charismatic girls who never got the chance to shine. For example Kazumin, she is really capable of taking center position. She is intelligent, funny and pretty so center would be a piece of cake for her 8)
I know well-known face sells better but when Nishino and Shiraishi will graduate (I HOPE it will not be during my lifetime :) ) Nogizaka may just be coursed like AKB, without any ace or girl aspiring to become one.

Yeah. I was hoping for a Kazumin center during early Nogi46 (if I remember right she was like the face of the 1st audition results). But it just didn't happen. :nervous
Might be hard for her to center now. But a W center with a fun theme (like SKE's 12 Gatsu no Kangaroo) I can totally see working. Wonder if they'll ever give her a shot, I'll even take a c/w song. :lol:

Yep, early days in Nogi was her biggest chance to be center. "Graduation center" might be her only chance :P But first row in "Sayonara no Imi" and second right now in "Influencer" is not a bad thing at all. What's more she seems to be happy for raising her position so it's OK for me.
