Wow, I'm actually updating?!?! A lot has happened in AKB world since I last updated! Well, since I do have some stuff written and this thread was bumped, I decided to post what I have. Not sure if anyone is still reading this, here's part 1 anyways.

Chapter 8 – It’s Party Time Part 1
“We need to tell Reina immediately that we need to save as much beer as possible for the grand celebration. Can’t have a party without Kiuchi beer. Oh, and Yuko, I’m stealing Ayarin for the party, hmmm, that means we need lots of metal and plastic dishes. Hmmm…”
“what else, what else…”
"Beer, check. Food check. Oh, guests!"
“Send an invitation to Aikuchi, everyone is invited.”
“This is gonna be the best party ever!”
It’s been two weeks since the end of war.
Miichan has been busy planning her party, leaving the Kingdom’s administrative work to Tomochin.
Miichan happily plan for the party while hanging out with Yuko, Yuki and Sasshi at Sae’s bar.
Rie walks into the bar. Yuko waved her over.
“Oh?” Sasshi surprised.
“I invited her to come after she finished fixing the vents from the lobby.” Yuko smiled.
Rie walked over to where they were sitting with a smile.
“It’s nice that everyone is back, it was weird living at your house Yuko, with just Ayarin and me. I think I’ve gained 10 pounds while you were away. She kept cooking meals for 8 people.”
Everyone laughed. Everyone has been trying to keep the mood light since the end of the war.
“So Yuki, what’s the weather going to be like for the next week?” Miichan asked.
“Eh?”
“It’s a weeklong celebration, I need good weather!” Miichan said seriously.
Tomochin entered the bar.
“Oh crap!” Miichan ducked under the table.
“Minegishi Minami!” Tomochin yelled.
“I am going to count to 3, if you don’t get your ass from under the table, I’m going to pull you out!”
Everyone smiled and enjoyed the commotion.
“One…”
“Two…”
“Okay okay, I’m up, I’m up!” Miichan surrendered.
“Sae, can I get a gin-a-tonic please.”
“Ehhhh. Tomochin, you finally give in.” Sae said as she handed Tomochin her drink.
“I’m going to drink this and then drag Miichan and her ass back to the palace.”
“Ha, not if I get back there before you do!” Miichan dashed out of the bar.
Tomochin sighed.
She took a sip from her drink and sighed again.
Yuko sat moved over to sit next to Tomochin and pat her on her back.
“Like I always say, Miichan is lucky to have you.”
Tomochin sighed loudly.
“I’ve been meaning to ask you, those attacks, were they your ideas or..?” Yuko asked.
Tomochin shook her head. “It was all Miichan, she took charge of the whole thing. She knew the lands inside and out, every crook and nook of the area. She took the info that Yuki gave her and ran with it. I’ve never seen her so serious.”
Yuko simply nodded.
“But that was short lived. She’s back to her ways and I’m back to running her Kingdom.” Tomochin sighed.
“When was it ever Miichan’s Kingdom, Tomochin? You can lie to yourself about it and deny it all your want, but you love Miichan as much as Miichan loves you and you love this Kingdom as much as Miichan does.”
“I don’t love her, I’m just bounded to her.”
Yuko rolled her eyes. “Sure Tomochin, if Miichan is going to marry someone, you’re really not going to care?”
“I don’t care who she marries!” Tomochin finished her drink and placed it on the counter.
“Are you sure about that?” Sae looked at Tomochin as she walked over to their table.
“Not you too Sae, I’m in no mood for this. Miichan can marry everyone in this Kingdom and I wouldn’t give a damn!” Tomochin raised her voice in reply.
“Careful what you say Tomochin, it might come true and you’ll regret it.” Sae replied.
Yuko gave a questionable look to Sae and Sae nodded back in return.
*Aikuchi Kingdom*
Knock Knock
“Come in.”
Atsuko opened the door and walked into the room.
“Atsuko.” Mayu said.
Atsuko placed the tray of cookies on to the round table in the middle of room. She sat down on the pillow by the small table next to the bed and motioned Mayu to sit next to her.
Atsuko grabbed two cookies and gave one to Mayu who was now sitting next to her.
Atsuko took a bite from her cookie and said, “It’s been awhile since we did this.”
Mayu nodded, “yah, not since I left for Bitoku…”
Mayu stopped mid-sentence.
Atsuko looked at Mayu and moved closed to Mayu and gave her a hug.
“Atsuko, I…” Mayu started to sob in her embrace.
“It’s ok, it’s ok.” Atsuko patted Mayu and let her cry.
Atsuko has always felt guilty not being able to spend much time with Mayu. She let Mayu cry in her arms and listened to what Mayu in between her sobs.
“So that’s how you were able to do it. You got close to Lord Kashiwagi.” Atsuko smirked at her little sister.
“What? It’s not like that!” Mayu said while blushing.
“I guess I should have had the sex talk with you before you left.” Atsuko smirked.
“Atsuko!” Mayu blushed.
“My little sister is all grown up…sigh.”
“Atsuko!!!” Mayu slapped Atsuko. “Stop teasing me!”
Atsuko laughed. “Okay, okay.”
“By the way, Kiuchi invited us to a celebration party, why don’t you and Minami go on behalf of our Kingdom. I hear the Kiuchi Kingdom knows how to throw a good party!”
Mayu didn’t respond.
“It’ll be good for you, meet new people and have some fun.” Atsuko said as she lightly patted Mayu on her head.
“Okay…” Mayu agreed reluctantly.
Atsuko left Mayu’s room and walked back to her office. She was in a good mood. After spending the afternoon with Mayu, she felt relieved.
She wondered, what is it that she’s fighting for.....
