2015/06/11 "Deai no Tsuzuki" Launch Event Talk+Mini-live at Tower Records Shibuya

350 people in attendance - had to win a lottery by buying CDs at the store - over 1800 CD applicants...

Mayu performed 2 songs:

Onna no ko nara

In the talk, she talked about Matsui Rena's graduation, the AKB election (how she felt so much anxiety, the push for 2nd consecutive win, and how she felt so relieved afterwards), and a funny bit where she kinda joked about the low ratings of her drama "Tatakau! Shoten Girl", rough translation from the Oricon piece

"Who here has heard the new song?"
everyone raises their hand
"100%!!!"
"Who here has watched the new music video?"
less people raise their hand...
"Audience ratings of 3.6%!!!"

(I think 3.6% was the historic low rating one episode of her drama got...)

Good to see her able to joke about these things and feel relieved after the election, not worked up.

Also, Pom Pom Purin, Mayu's seemingly latest addiction, and favourite Sanrio character appeared:

There was a 90% change probability of rain, so they had a lottery for autographed umbrellas, but it ended up not raining.

Got the CD in the mail today, I was so happy! I also got a picture of Mayu as the character she plays in Tataku! Shoten Girl. I really can't wait to put on the CD now, lol xD
