More useless fact! Woohoo!

Quote from: Me
Apparently, since she became a Musume, Rika had concerts there in Nagoya for 31 times, probably more than any other places.

All 31 times in Nagoya...

Hi, it's me again. :D

For those who aren't Japanese-impaired, could you tell me what Tsunku's talking here?

A very bad translation:

"[Rika Ishikawa] Is Ishikawa's charm "voice"? Although it continues saying decisively and it shines, whatever who may say this. If charm is in "voice" too, it is in the state which has always licked its lips as a maker, saying "It cooks. How it is a way." Therefore, although more than half of Morning Musume's music is made based on Ishikawa's voice and it is inherited by 美勇伝, from now on, there are already many ideas. Joint work with Ishikawa makes it a form. He is 卒業した and others about Morning Musume. Since only the daughter who things ask doing solo for the thing of only that, and can reply to it can graduate. Reliance of as opposed to Ishikawa at the point"

Ishikawa Rika
Ishikawa's charm lies in her voice, doesn't it?
this is what most people continue to decide. when a voice has its charm, as a creator (i.e. songwriter or otherwise...) one is always tantalized by the prospect of cooking up something with it. that is why more than half of MM's songs are written to match the pace of Ishikawa's voice, and this continues with viyuden, for which I have many ideas. This is what takes shape from working with Ishikawa.
After graduating from morning musume, what I look for is "going solo" (I think this means existing apart from MM) and only the musume who can respond to this will be able to graduate. In this sense, the responsiblity for / reliance on Ishikawa is great.

Sounds like he's either gonna graduate another one of the girls to go solo (my money would be on either Aichan graduating or on Miki starting to release solo singles again), or he might start up another round of auditions to find another soloist who would be seperate from MM.  Who knows?  He might even bring back one of the girls who made it to the finals of the ACE auditions.  If he does the latter, let's hope he doesn't keep the winner "on the shelf" the way he did to Erika after she won her audition.

Man, kray. Did me, Masashi, and tama-chan's banter @ JPM in those Rika and viyuden praise threads bring you out of retirement? And how many TRULY hardcore Rika fans are there? We are like such a small group yet SO LOUD hahaha.  :halo:
!

Damn acheungpae knows ive "retired" and come back like 3 times~  I dunno rika just keeps sucking me back in.  But actually you guys have let me kinda fly under the radar you guys pimp rika more than i did back in the day (than again back in the day the only people who liked rika was me and acheungpae).  Ive actually been back into fandom since like summer 2003, but just not been doing much on the boards.  Rika hate is at an all time low~  even though she still has her haters generally people like her (wohoo top 3 in overall like!)  So there is no real need for epic posts of pimping on my part, for real i think i converted like 3 people and it was more like an upgrade from ignoring her to slightly liking her.  And i think i made haters just hate her more, oh well.   But hell yeah yoshizawa fans totaly pwn us in numbers, but we are by far more commited.  Thank god were not too insane though... like some maki fans.. though i guess thats a matter of opinion.

its really true though that rika will always be a 2nd or 3rd choice among alot of ppl in the boards. at least the polls speak for it. of course then nowadays there are less rika hate. some turn out to like her more as times went on.

Rika should praise 5th gen... at least Konno took over the "worst singing voice" role.
And then Shiggie took it from KonKon.
*runs away*

Come back here!! (grabs ~Tettekete~ too) :hits with chair: (<-- I never get to use this enough hahahhaha) You guys should make a 5th Gen praise thread!!!

"5th Gen praise"???  I resent that accusation!  They're bottom of the barrell for me.  :P  :)

You two (kray & ahcheungape) are like the oldest long time Rika fans that I know. And that guy, he went MIA long time ago...uhh...cutewithoutthe"e"? I wasn't a Rika fan when I first got to JPM, though I've always liked her. I didn't even know daigong was a Rika fan at first, until we had the viyuden thread, I guess. And Masa just popped up not so long ago. I think Rika is pretty well-liked, but except from us, I can't name other Rika fans.

Hey, bot, thanks for the translation! I don't even know if that's really from the book or some fan made it up. :P  I saw someone at JPM called you a crazy Rika fan... Are you a Rika fan? Coz I really don't know.

Eco Eco!!!
