Something's wrong with meetan too, she couldn't make the encore of some theatre performance(SDN I think) and has been checked out by a doctor.

^ According to stage48's news thread, she is out because of "straining her quadriceps", which wikipedia says is "a large muscle group that includes the four prevailing muscles on the front of the thigh." Ouch.

The flu seems to be hitting the idol world hard. Read on Japan Zone today about how five of the seven Berryz Kobo members are out with it. This is a good time of year to be an indoor type.

Hopefully everyone, idols and forum members, gets better soon!

Team PB vs Team YJ Project Start!

AKB48 NEXT BREAK COMPETITION
[Team Weekly Playboy] - Kashiwagi, Miyazawa, Miyazaki, Oota, Nito, Takajo, Maeda Ami
[Team Young Jump] - Kasai, Kitahara, Nakagawa, Minegishi, Sashihara, Kuramochi, Kikuchi

In both Weekly Playboy and Young Jump, members of that magazine's team will be given a great push with appearances every issue. Look at the features in each magazine, and from the 14 members decide your #1 and vote for her! Each members votes will be totalled up for her team.

In February 2010, each team will hold a campaigning event at the AKB theater. At these events both teams will perform their new songs written by them for Akimoto Yasushi. In March 2010, they will hold a combined event where the results of the competition will be announced. The winning team will get to be on the cover of both Weekly Playboy and Young Jump, as well as do gravure for both. There might be a surprise prize as well?!

Looks we got a bunch of awesome photoshoots coming up!
