Akari Kitō (鬼頭 明里 Kitō Akari, born October 16, 1994) is a Japanese voice actress from Aichi Prefecture affiliated with Pro-Fit. She debuted in 2014, acted her first main role in Time Bokan 24 (2016), and has since received more major and leading roles. In October 2019, she made her debut as a solo singer under Pony Canyon

The official website for 25-year-old voice actress Akari Kito has posted a four-and-half minute clip to introduce the three songs in her second single, including a short version music video for "Desire Again" and sound-only previews for "Tiny Light" and "Closer."

"Tiny Light" is featured as the ED theme for the ongoing TV anime adaptation of Iro Aida's comedy-horror manga Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, in which she is also cast as its main heroine Nene Yashiro.

After graduated from voice actor agency Pro-Fit's training school, she started her professional voice actress activities in 2014 by playing a minor role in Sword Art Online II. Since then, she has voiced many main characters, such as Nezuko Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Sayu Tsukisaki in Re:Stage! Dream Days♪, Noa Himesaka in Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me, and Kanata Konoe in Love Live! School Idol Festival - All Stars.

 

Meanwhile, she made her solo singer debut under her own name from Pony Canyon with her first single "Swinging Heart" on October 16, 2019, her 25th birthday, which ranked a very good 11th in Oricon's weekly single chart.

 

Her second solo single "Desire Again" is set to be released on February 26, 2020.
