^ that was teriffic! I never get tired of seeing the newer
generations singing Love Machine!

{please cue music below}

There are some plans one can make with a fair amount of certainty.
For example, pairings......

You take a beautiful girl
like Maimi Yajima

and put her with someone she has
known a long time, and you have
Maimi/Airi magic!

Maimi/Mano- fo sha!

Okay, well we have
another photogenic
athletic beauty-
Ayaka Wada...
Lovely lass indeed
:

And we know that
we all would look forward
to seeing Dawa and

Honey Boo Boo
Haruna Iikubo
looking great together
in a photo shoot:

{simulated pairing}

      Works for me!!

But hold on.....someone
at the head office had
a better idea for a
perfect pairing-
must have been a genius!!!

Genius? Well yeah,
what can I say?

But an Ayaka / Haruna backer
spoke up:

Hey Tsunku san,
erm...I know I am just
a 10th gen inaka baka,
but I gotta tell ya,
I would go for that
Dawa/Honey pairing,
if you want a winner.
Just saying.......

Ayumi chan, let
big daddy make the
decisions here,
I'm award winning!
Now get back to
practice! Vamoose!

And Indeed! There was an award!

Who's yo daddy now, fool?

What i liked most about this is that they sang Love Machine in all Japanese. It lets me hear the song in their voices rather than the original track that automatically plays in my head when that song comes on.

The Pink Marshmallow Incident
Morning Musume 15th Anniversary Debut Concert Tour Fall 2012 ~Colorful Character~

MC topic: First thing you would say after a week of sleep paralysis.

——————————
Reina: Excuse me, please let me go to the bathroom!
The end.

Sayumi: Ahh, but it was kinda cute.

Reina: Cute?!

Sayu: Yeah, like the way you said it, expression and all.

Reina: But I was asking to go to the toilet, you know.

Sayu: Well, we didn’t really wanna think about thaaat~

Like, ahh, Reina also uses the bathroom.

Reina: I DON’T!!! *turns to audience* I do not.
I’ve never gone to the bathroom before.

Audience: Ehhhhhh~

Reina: I’ve never gone. Cuz y’know, pink marshmallows come out~

Sayu: Iikubo, what do you have to say about that?

Iikubo: I’ll eat it, certainly!

———————-
Mujack: 2013/05/03

Reina:  I got a text from Iikubo one time. It read “I ate marshmallows, pink ones!”
During MCs before, I’ve said things like “I don’t use the bathroom, pink marshmallows come out, etc.”

And so I got a text from her, with a picture attached. And in it, half of the marshmallow was covered in chocolate!!!

Sayu: Ewwwwww!!! gross~

*Ikuta cracking up*

Reina: So I asked her why she sent that to me.

And she said, “Well, when I saw pink marshmallows, I thought of you, Tanaka-san.”

Sayu: So wait, that means she was thinking about you when she ate it, right?

 Reina: I think so.

Sayu: GROSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

^Ohhh she said she couldn't come during the final Budoukan concert so she was glad she was able to go to this one. Kinda makes me hopeful of more OG cough*Eri*cough appearances on the d-day.

Hmm... maybe I should occasionally put up a disclaimer after all huh? /sincerity mode
-Every concert mc report I posted here are usually from twitter and crosschecked in 2ch and it's always been reliable so far but still, take it with a grain of salt-

This one is kinda confirmed by Kaorin on her blog though ^^
In one of today's MC Sayu reminisced about Rokkies first stage (Keichan's grad concert, 5/5/2003)
Quote
从*・ 。.・) 「Our first stage was in Saitama Super Arena, at that time we also played hide and seek with the other members backstage right?」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「We did! In the room where there's a desk in the middle of it.」
从*・ 。.・) 「Yeah and we were wearing a white costume and was going like "Don't come here !" (lol)」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「Fujimoto-san was there too」
从*・ 。.・) 「She was, that's why we can understand Maachan's feelings pretty well (of always wanting to play hide and seek) so we don't mind playing along and keeping her company 」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「It was surprising that Fujimoto-san didn't get angry back then too huh」
从*・ 。.・) 「Even Fujimoto-san did it with us and when Sayumi asked her to say the line she used in a CM around that time she actually did it complete with the pose! Although she was looking at Eri the entire time... Ahh even though I wanted her to look at me while doing the line and pose」
从*・ 。.・) 「It's been 10 years since then... Yasuda-san graduated and now she's even getting married」
wota "~ooooohhh!"
从*・ 。.・) 「We never thought it'd come to this, right?」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「No, we definitely didn't」
wota "~eeeeeeeh!"
从*・ 。.・) 「No, not in that way
从 ´ ヮ`) 「We didn't mean it that way! What are you "eeeh"-ing about? It's weird isn't it? Reina wins this round(of talks)!」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「Anyway, what we meant was that we'd never have thought that Sayu would be Leader like this. People sure change, huh」
*chime, talks end*
从*・ 。.・) 「Reina changed too, you know」
wota "~oooohh!"
从*・ 。.・) 「Nowadays being near Reina is very soothing for Sayumi」
从 ´ ヮ`) 「That part?!」

Encore Last MC
从*・ 。.・) 「It was exactly 10 years ago yesterday that we stood on our first stage. Up until now we've been to many places, worked with a lot of different staff-sans and stood  alongside various members and met many different fans. Each and every stage was a different experience so I would like to keep treasuring every moment of it」

Tanaka Reina: “The Platinum Era lineup was the strongest. It would’ve been something amazing had the group back then attained the same level of popularity as today.”

From the June issue of Gekkan ENTAME:

―― First, can you tell us how you thought of Takahashi Ai?

Tanaka: Me and Ai-chan often discussed singing. Although Ai-chan is my senior, emotionally I might be stronger than her in some aspects. When Ai-chan went “I can’t do this!”, I’d encourage her by saying “You’re fine! We can’t give up now. Let’s do our best!” We weren’t rivals — she felt more like my partner. Lots of members have graduated from Morning Musume up until now, but Ai-chan’s graduation was the most shocking to me… I really thought Morning Musume was going to end! I kept telling Ai-chan “No no no! I’m telling you it’ll be bad news if you leave!” I was really worried. “You’re really quitting? You’re joking, right? And then what are you going to do?!” (laughs)

―― But in the end, Takahashi-san did graduate and Morning Musume still exists.

Tanaka: Right. Because the group is still going strong without Ai-chan, it really made me realize that Morning Musume will be fine no matter who graduates. Morning Musume’s members are not its only strength. There’s also our staff who have given their utmost effort for the group up until now, and of course there’s also our fans who keep supporting us.

―― Since the Morning Musume of today is still gaining popularity even without Takahashi-san, perhaps that can be attributed to the current lineup of the group.

Tanaka: But even now I still think that the lineup back when Ai-chan and Eri were in the group was the strongest. I feel that it would’ve been something amazing had the group back then attained the same level of popularity as today.

Has the girls of AKB48 or other idol groups ever appeared in an occult magazine to talk about her personal experiences of mysterious UFO sightings?
