I don't like this song.

PV is not bad, but I don't think this is a good song.

I always hear every one sing the song together, no impact.

Maybe I still stay in 1st and 3rd Gen Idoling!!!.

After 目には青葉山ホトトギス初恋,I only remember EVE. I mean main song of the single.

Just my opinion.

Looks like the competition is raising their game, Morming Musume is on a promotional blitzkrieg along with almost 100k in weekly CD sales, Super Girls is right behind in a very strong showing. How the hell could Idoling even match those sale figures? Without any extra promotion there's no way this single would even outsell Mamore!!!, a sexy PV alone simply won't cut it. Add to that NMB is the competition for the release date.

But then again, I don't mind if this single doesn't do so well, otherwise they'll keep doing the sexy theme which doesn't fit Idoling.

that is true indeed, promotional team is taking things for granted a bit too much. Getting #1 in oricon just because of the 5th gens really means nothing and looking by the way the team is looking at this, they are definitely taking the previous sales for granted.

I'm wondering just how much influence does Kado-P has in this new singles, or is this more towards Pony Canyon's decision? Does anyone have any idea how this kind of decision is made.

At the very best, this could reflect the real number of actual sales without the influence of voting gimmick, at its worse, this can be the best wake up call that things are not going on the right direction.

Gotta get this out.

My main gripe for that performance is that they cut Maipuru's solo

Was it that hard to add an extra 20 seconds for that?

In my mind, if only Maipuru got her solo, it will balance out the ridiculously 'fan service-y' vibe they bring with that costume

Can't help if higher people there is actually famous Idoling!!! antifans. Performing there is considered lucky. They could choose Momokuro, Supaga, or Momusu.

Agree. HEY!x3 is *the* marquee music variety show in Japan. I don't remember the last time Idoling!!! performed on this show alongside mainstream artistes like SNSD and the 48-groups outside of the quarterly Idol specials (where they invite almost all of the idol groups anyway). It's already considered a win.

The tide is definitely turning, mainstream crowd is showing signs that they are getting tired of AKB overkill. The fact that AKB has no skill and that AKB songs in general are incredibly dull and generic is exacerbating the effect.

You never see a comedian even admit to being an Idoling fan, now they are coming out one by one.

Idoling is on the verge of a break-out. Whether the staff can take advantage of the moment is another story.

Just watched the PV for the first time. It's done a lot more tastefully than I feared. I was dreading it going the Heavy Rotation route so much! The way I see it, it's no different than any other swimsuit singles such as Mujouken Koufuku or Poolside Daisakusen. Heard the song fully for the first time also and I am liking it so far:)

The PV's not bad, it's just that i think the concept is not suitable for the song. I mean it's a summery song, and the water splashing is obviously not enough to describe it

I see another pro/con for Kikuchi here

she's getting pushed to the front-ish position, and not surprisingly she's bringing the overall quality down

They can definitely bring her for center position in MCs, but for stage performance?? keep her as far back as possible please!

Seriously, even a 5th grader elementary schoolers can do a better expressions than her
