FRINGE and why you should watch it
« on: April 17, 2010, 10:38:54 PM »
FRINGE IS AN AMAZING, TOTALLY UNDERRATED SHOW THAT IS CURRENTLY IN ITS 2ND SEASON IN THE US. THEIR CONTRACT HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR A 3RD SEASON. I THINK.

IT HAS MIND BLOWING SCIENCE, A CRAZY LOVEABLE SCIENTIST, A SEXY FEMALE FBI AGENT AND PACEY FROM DAWSON'S CREEK. AND AT LEAST TWO ACTORS FROM HBO'S OZ.

JUST DON'T EAT WHILE YOU'RE WATCHING THE SHOW.

REASONS TO WATCH FRINGE:

Walter Bishop

Special things for special episodes

Not shy of lesbian kisses

CHECK IT OUT!! THIS SHOW DOESN'T HAVE NEARLY AS MANY VIEWERS AS IT OUGHT TO.

OK Just so this thread has at least one reply I'll share my Fringe story. (^ Nvm, kuro replied lol)

When I first started watching Fringe (from the very first ep) I didn't think it was immediately awesome, and Olivia Dunham (the main character) seemed a bit cold to me. But I'm so glad I stuck by the show and kept watching it, because by the end of the first season I loved every character and couldn't wait to see season 2  Season 2 has been only reinforcing my love. There have been some really great episodes, most recently 'Peter' and 'White Tulip'.

It's fun to see how sick cases the writers are able to come up with  And how inappropriate comments Walter can make. The reason why I now love Olivia is because also her softer/more playful side has shown sometimes... And she is beautiful >_> The show isn't only about different cases, but many of them are tied to this bigger picture, a threat of a scientific war coming that should be pretty damn epic if the show gets to live that long. YESSS looking forward to that...

Anyway that is my Fringe story. LOL

I've been watching Fringe since it started, and was hooked from the get go.
Easily one of the best series on TV, IMO.
Olivia is HOT, and Walter is a treat to watch.
Astrid is a babe and Peter seems to be a pivotal character now.

I was definitely glad to hear that its gonna have a 3rd season, cause its one of the main reasons I still watch some TV.

Peter finally found out the TRUTH O-O OMG OMG OMG. I understand his anger, but I still couldn't help but think he was acting like a douchebag. Probably because I feel so bad for Walter lol.

And I think the dude who crossed is the other Walter. o-o;; Just because u could see the shadow of his nose and it was like Walter's... but who knows :P

Fringe is absolutely amazing! And it's one of very few shows on currently where I actually care about the main plot arch.
The episodes focusing on single cases are fun as well, of course, but it's the main plot that keeps me interested xD; ... and Olivia... and Walter, and uhm... everything xD lol

The retro opening was frickin' amazing. I wish they'd kept it :P Did you also notice that the last two episodes (recent season final) had a slightly different opening too? ;)

FRINGE and why you should watch it?

Anna Torv of course!  XD

First I thought it was a total X-Files rip off, I never cared for X-Files mainly because I can't stand David Douchebag, but I LOVE Fringe.

Too bad our channel stopped showing it in the middle of season two, now I have to probably wait til autumn til they continue showing the rest of the season  :(

OH MY GOD.

HOW EPIC IS THIS SERIES OJACFIWEJOIJFO

ANNA TORV DESERVES AN EMMY D: SHE'S SO GOOD AT SUBTLY SEPARATING OLIVIA AND ALTLIVIA, AND EVEN MAKING A MIX OF THE TWO. LOL

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH D: SO EXCITING, MY MIND IS BLOWN. OMG.

IT'S SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE BEST SERIES ON TV RIGHT NOW, I WISH IT WOULD GET MORE RECOGNITION, BUT I GUESS IT'S TOO SCIENCE-Y. BUT SRSLY THOUGH.

ANYWAY ON TO EPISODE STUFF
- I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY ORIGINAL OLIVIA T____T
- ALTLIVIA IS SUCH A SLUTBAG CUNTFACE
- GUESS WHO OWNS MASSIVE DYNAMICS NOW WHOA SHIT PIMPIN'

THIS SHOW IS SO GREAT, IT DESERVES FULL CAPS.

I just watched the second episode of the new season and I LOVED IT. The main plot is always what brought me back to the show (never really cared much for the stand alone episodes, which is rare for me when it comes to shows like this), and though I was rather sceptical of the whole Olivia vs. altOlivia at first, I'm getting into it now.

The season premiere didn't grab me at all, to be honest. There were too many things to pick up on, and I just found it uninteresting, but this second episode 8D This, thissss is why I love Fringe

Hey guys, if you want to start watching Fringe, here's an episode guide so that you can catch up without watching *every episode*
http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/51623939.html#cutid1
16 episodes from Season 1 & Season 2, less than half of all the episodes :3

(Tho if you end up really enjoying the show, I think you should watch all the eps lol)

Caught up on watching all the episodes. :twothumbs

This might sound crazy. But I actually had deja vu when watching "Unleashed" from season 1. I knew the whole story just by watching the first minute of it.
I think that is solid proof that those guys in the alternate world also get Fringe on TV. :nervous
