Nogizaka46 made a surprise live at a high school graduation ceremony Ogawa, Ibaraki Prefecture. The school was founded in 1986 and is now closing down - 56 students were in the graduating year.

Nogizaka Romance DVD sets will be on sale! The way SME is going to sell it is quite peculiar tho.

From my understanding of it, the DVD sets will be on sale during the handshake events. Each set will have 5 DVDs, each DVD will have one episode! Each episode is roughly five minutes btw. Additionally, it seems like the episodes that will be contained in each set is going to be random!!! There are a total of 102 episodes available also, with the two episodes featuring graduate Iwase Yumiko not included. Each person is allowed to purchase a maximum of 5 sets. Each set will cost ¥ 1,500 including tax.

So what do you think of this sale format? Personally I don't like how each DVD contain only one episode. The price is not really expensive to be fair tho. However, the thing I don't understand is the random episodes per set decision. It will make it that much harder to collect the episodes one desire or to complete the set, even if there are fans trading with each other. Once again to be fair I guess its make some sense to do it this way if its only going to be sold at handshake events. All in all tho I am not a fan of this selling format.

Nogizaka Dorama Participation~~~!!!
Hashimoto Nanami will be playing the female lead in upcoming night time drama Bad Boys J!!!
Nanamin will be playing 由本久美, reported the girlfriend of the protagonist in the manga original. Nakajima Kento (中島健人) from Sezy Zone will be the male lead.
Additionally, several more Nogizaka members will also play roles in this drama! These members include Matsumura Sayuri, Akimoto Manatsu, Ito Marika, Ito Nene, Sakurai Reika, Takayama Kazumi, Wakatsuki Yumi, & Noujou Ami. Additionally, Itano Tomomi will play a role in this drama too!

Bad Boys J will begin airing on Saturday April 6th, 24:50 ~ 25:20 on NTV.

Also, words are the meaning of "Akasaka in 70 days" will be revealed on Ngzk's national handshake event on March 20th! Some fans are now also guessing it to be Ngzk's first album. But of course there's no info on what it is yet, so the possibilities are all speculations thus far.

It seems like Maiyan will be made exclusive model for women's fashion magazine Ray! Model Karina (香里奈) is also an exclusive model for Ray. Additionally, the most recent issue of Ray sold some 139 thousand copies! Previously, Maiyan have appeared three times on Ray, & to little surprise, received great attention & adoration!

^Jul posted a concern regarding Maiyan's contract, fearing decrease in diversity of magazine appearances. Looking back, "official model" seems to be a better translation of the word "専属" instead of "exclusive model." Official captures the meaning better, since based on what I know, being chosen to be an official model is very significant, it means you are deems worthy to be a face of a magazine. Whether this will be exclusivity I can't be exactly sure, but Mariko is also an official model for a magazine, & I don't think her magazine appearance are restricted due to it. I might be wrong tho.


Also, remember Maiyan & Naachan's appearance in Girls Award? They are once again chosen to participate in the event, namely GirlsAward 2013 SPRING/SUMMER! Former SDN Serina will be there too once again. Nogizaka will also be performing before the model show starts!

Maiyan will be an mc for upcoming FujiTV variety show Bachi Bachi Erekiteru (バチバチエレキテる)!


It seems like the show will be a comedian challenge. Hamaguchi Masaru (濱口優) will also be co-hosting. The program will start broadcasting this month, April 16th, every Tuesday 12:45 at night. For the Kansai region the program will start broadcast on the 23rd, on KTV every Tuesday 1:30 at night.
