Glad to see Eiko working with such great cast as Tomokazu Miura and Kimiko Yo.
This film, known as "Crossroads" for the international audience, is called RAILWAYS 愛を伝えられない大人たちへ (Railways: Ai o Tsutaerare Nai Otona-Tachi e) which means something like "Railways: The Love We Don't Communicate as Adults".
It is a followup to the 2010 film RAILWAYS 49歳で電車の運転士になった男の物語 (Reiruweizu: 49-sai de densha no untenshi ni natta otoko no monogatari) which means something like "Railways: The Story of a Man who Became a Railroad Conductor at the age of 49" which stars another great veteran actor, Kiichi Nakai, along with Reiko Takashima. Co-starring Takahiro Miura, who won "Rookie of the Year" award at the 2011 (34th) Japan Academy Prize ceremony on February 18, 2011. Miura is the son of Tomokazu Miura and J-Pop legend Momoe Yamaguchi.
Both movies are about family relationships, set with a back story of Japanrese Railway employees, the finest Rail Service providers in the world.
Okay now a trailer with Crossroads, some scenes with Eiko:
