The sales are published. Balalaika sold 1,364 last week, which brings the total to 66,420.

That means that the sales are up compared to the last two weeks and that the higher ranking of 77th was not (only) caused by overall lower sales but the single is actually doing better.

Rofl! But I'm not too sure Tsunku would be happy about his miracle going through too much of a hell, he needs to leech more money off her after all. Unless all this is a staged coup and he's hoping that if Koharu suffers too much the public will want to buy her single

Koharu does it again! Sales of Balalaika refuse to slow down. This week's ranking is 84th! The sales to go with it are 1,310 copies sold. By way of miracle addition this now totals to 67,730 copies sold.

Well, the Kirarin album didn't fare as well as Balalaika did.. so..

I think that it'll be moderately successful. For an H!P album.

Maybe 40-50k. But not Balalaika sales..

Maybe if they market the hell out of it. Koharu was on OhaStar numerous times to promote Balalaika and they also made it the theme song, so of course kids are bound to buy it!

Balalaika managed to get into the daily top 50 again this weekend. Charting at positions 50 on Saturday and 47 on Sunday, a top 100 ranking position in this weeks Oricon chart is again likely. We'll know more Wednesday morning (Japan time).
