Taking a slightly different approach this time!
(http://uppix.com/f-1864954750b247fe0011728a.jpg)
Will Eien Pressure break one million in its first week?
In comparison, the last two singles sold:
Gingham Check - 1,143,834
UZA - 1,128,696
In addition, the "janken single" always sells less than the "cool autumn single."
Beginner: 813,320 --> Chance no Junban: 588,669
Kaze ga Fuiteiru: 1,276,694 --> Ue Kara Mariko: 1,143,062
UZA: 1,128696 --> Eien Pressure: ???
Will Paruru have enough appeal?
Will the sister units provide enough back-up?
Will Lemon48 give it the final push it needs?
Vote now for bragging rights!

I think NMB48's track is really going to help push this one over one million, and break the trend. 4 different types should help too. And if it does, I'm totally going to credit HKT48 for that~

Given AKB48's current name power and all four subgroups participating, I think it'll easily go over a million. I don't see how it can't with everyone in on it. :thumbup

It's not a guarantee but I think they will reach a million :)
Personally more interested to find out the different sales numbers for the different types considering the participation of the sister groups :thumbup

I personally don't think it will reach one million, but perhaps I'm underestimating Paru's appeal. This single is very weak in my opinion, especially standing in the shadow of the recent UZA which I think is one of AKB's best in awhile. Then again AKB's popularity is isn't decreasing so I might be proven wrong.

The single is questionable, and I don't care for Paruru, but I believe it will still surpass 1 million sales. They're so close to having the record for most consecutive million sellers, too..

One thing that I think harms the janken single's sales figures are the lack of Ltd Editions which come with national handshake event tickets. If we look for UZA, for example, http://www.phileweb.com/ranking/cd-top20/1674.html (http://www.phileweb.com/ranking/cd-top20/1674.html) the three types without HS tickets sold between 89-100k each first week, whereas the regular editions without the HS tickets sold only 27-45k each. However, to combat this, they are enlisting the aid of 4 CD+DVD types, and three of the sister groups. Will they help bolster sales enough? I only hope so because otherwise people will always blame Paruru for breaking the million seller record...

Don't forget that besides the sister group side songs, this single also includes the PVs of the top 3 fan voted songs.
That includes an Acchan solo.
Yeah, I think this single will break a million.

Listened to it yesterday. Don't even remember how the song sounds anymore, so it must be pretty weak.
Still, guessing it'll break a million. Even if Aki-P secretly buys a load just to keep the sales record going... :nervous

:lol: :lol: Nice mental picture popped up of Aki-P walking out of a store with bags full of his own CDs lol

The Acchan PV is just some Tokyo Dome footage? Not sure if that will make the difference. On the other hand, it's Acchan. This might actually be the last AKB48 related release she appears in... (unlike the album, team surprise, etc. lol)
But yeah, I'm guessing it will end up between 1.000.000 and 1.100.00 :cathappy:
