Title: AKB48 Stock Trading Game
Post by: SomethingWild on December 05, 2012, 04:00:06 PM
TheOnly92 created a stock market game based on AKB48 members. You would basically receive 1,000,000 yen when you create an account and then you can invest in the members you like.

Website: http://www.48kei.net/?lang=en (http://www.48kei.net/?lang=en)

Useful:
http://www.48kei.net/tutorial (http://www.48kei.net/tutorial)
http://www.48kei.net/faq (http://www.48kei.net/faq)

Some of us have started playing already and it seems like it could be fun.  :thumbup

Join in and let's discuss how our investments are doing

<Masa> that would be offensive as fuck if you weren't talking about 48kei lol

Wow. It looks interesting!  I'm gonna try it.

Oww.Gosh.   It's Japanese. I'm so poor I can't understand it.  :bleed eyes:
The translator is not helping either.  XD

Need to study!ASAP.  :panic:

I am gonna try to buy stock of members methink are under-appreciated! :)
People who update blogs & g+ are good choice too due to the dividend system.

& gee I thought Mirurun was under-appreciated... but her stock is not cheap (despite not ranking high lol).
I have Keira & Yukiko shares for now, trying to slightly low-ball some more lol.

Jurina is under-valued to methink, considering the dividend one can reap on her multiple single appearances. But she don't update her blog often & g+ at all. :nervous

Oww.Gosh.   It's Japanese. I'm so poor I can't understand it.  :bleed eyes:
The translator is not helping either.  XD

It's all in English as well, there's a language switcher in the bottom right of the page for Chinese/English/Japanese. However, the girls names are still in Japanese.

One rule that caught me out: "More than 10 shares must be involved for orders that are higher than the current price."
So if you are wondering why that transaction isn't happening, this might be it.

Enjoying it so far! So much so that for when I heard of two different members news today I went on there to see how their stock price reacted  XD

Saw it coming and managed to get in cheap. My Lovetan stock is up  ¥82,000  :twothumbs
This game will make her 18th birthday extra special

This game is pretty interesting once I kinda got a clue on it. Massive props to the AKBar IRC'ers for helping me get started in understanding what the fuck's going on.

I'm totally on board with our AKBar48 push girl Okada Nana (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=33481.0) and bought 50 shares. Her stock is doing pretty well right now (thanks to us mostly  ) but what a gamble long-term. She could resign and ruin me!

Not to give away all my strategies(that's what I call me semi-randomly clicking buttons) but I'm investing a generous amount of money into HKT. Most of their stocks are quite cheap at the moment and should grow at least some as the group gets their own original content next year. Also, IMO, even though Jurina's expensive she's worth getting some shares. I don't think her stock is as high as it should be. Like as of this writing, her and Shawako are the same price. I think hers is destined to go way up as this game balances itself out. There's a lot of oddities as the game's still pretty new, it seems. Also, I'm banking on Fuuchan. Recently named Team M's center, in singles, getting prettier every day... I think it's a lock for some profit, even though I bought hers first when I didn't know what I was doing and epicly overpaid.

Hopefully this game sticks around and stays active. It's pretty fun and even educational!

Aw yeah, sold of all my stock for three girls, all for profit!
I ditched one of the SKE48 KKS since she was just too risky and not going anywhere.
My investments went from eight girls down to five who are all doing well:

I think I have some good strategies figured out now. Let's see how it progresses.

Account value: ¥ 1,214,139 at the moment, but Lovetan's birthday's coming up soon which will add a nice amount as well  XD

edit: man, there is one person who's trying to buy 50 shares of every girl with an upcoming bday in the next three weeks. That sucks because a lot of us don't have that capital, meaning the rich will only get richer. Just like in real life...  :nervous

Or not. I had everything planned out. Everything went exactly like I had predicted...
After I received the birthday dividend I wanted to unload my Lovetan stock for a decent price before it would plummet.
However, in my rush I accidentally BOUGHT a lot of shares instead of selling them!  :bleed eyes: :bleed eyes:

I more or less broke even, rather than cashing in big. Aw well, lesson learned.
I'm down about 100K portfolio wise but I managed to invest in some promising stock.
I will be back. Big.  XD

^ at least you got in there for the birthday bonus! Seems I accidentally bought some Suzuran as I had a low limit bid on which went through after her price crashed. Guess I'll hang on to them.

I also bought in to the AKBar Push yesterday, and I already could make a nice profit  :thumbup

I finally got a way to play this game. So far so good. I'm really hoping to become rich next year.

I used half of my money to buy Yuki's stock. I don't think her price will drop anytime since she got a a lot of activities next year.
I set her as my long term investment.  I hope I'm right though.  :nervous

My thoughts exactly :( Though I only had Lovetan and Yui for the birthday dividend. Ended up buying some Suzuran for cheap now that it crashed; I forsee it going up in the future! [/fake fortune]

I'm also hoping for something with Kojima Natsuki 'cuz there's some gravure of her coming up soon..

So, I'm loving this site and I'm doing pretty good so far (1.4 million value, thank you Wasamin stock!), but its really difficult to see how my stocks are doing at a glance because I can't read ANY of the names.  Well, where there's a will there's a way, and now my 48kei looks like this:

How?  A Greasemonkey script, Melchizadek's names file for Romajifier48, and about 30 minutes of reformatting it to work.  And I thought I'd share.

http://pastebin.com/4iYAn3kG (http://pastebin.com/4iYAn3kG)

I edited http://userscripts.org/users/23652 (http://userscripts.org/users/23652) this script in Tampermonkey (Chrome's version of Greasemonkey) and it will automagically romanize pretty much every name out there.  It should work for Greasemonkey for you Firefox users out there.  And you can change the script if you want to work on ANY website by modifying the @include line.  Seems like some HKT KKS are missing and I'll work on that and post a new version if someone doesn't beat me to it.  Again. BIG CREDIT to Melchizadek's hard work with that Romajifier48 keyfile (I hope its ok that I copied it...)

Enjoy!

Yesterday the TakaMina stock crashed & it was priced at around $14,300 per stock.
Upon seeing this, my immediate action was BUY! & I decided to purchase some 30 stocks, at a price that was $700 above the price at that time.

Yet, the purchase didn't go through somehow... & now the TakaMina stock is at Over $30,300!!!!!!! :panic:

What on Earth!?!? :banghead:
My profit!!!

...well at least my Jurina stocks & Keira stocks are doing well. :sweatdrop:

I'm not gonna reveal my strategy because I don't want it to be messed with but I'm doing fine so far. Not out of this world results but I have yet to lose in a transaction.

This game is fun but still needs a lot of tweaks. It's too easy to cheat and I see a lot of stocks going insanely up for no reason at all. It's too easy to tamper with the price limits and make a stock cost much more than it should by buying a single share.

I'm not too thrilled with the dividends either. I think a blog post should give more return than a G+ post. Blogging is far more rare. I also would like to see more dividends per comment on the blog post. Another addition I'd like to see is tv show appearances. It'd be a better representation of a girl's current value imo.

This sounds overly negative and I'm sorry. I trully enjoy the game just wish it to continue improving.

There's an auction going on at the moment!

They are releasing new shares in a lot of girls. It's just started and the auction lasts 2 hours, so, get in there for the girls you want stocks of (unless you are going for mine, grrr)

Yes, as well as magazine appearances and photobook releases. However, I guess keeping up with that is an insane amount of work.
But yeah, it's just a game. It's been entertaining so far and that's what matters most.

Man! An auction? Was this announced somewhere? I could have prepared for it ;_; All my money is in stocks right now...

Photobooks and magazine appearances would be easy to track. My idea would be tough, sometimes they just do the song and it's hard to tell who's there or not.

^ The auction was on the front page. I had some money spare, and made a bunch overnight so managed to spend about 400k on new shares. Finally got some of my oshimen  :twothumbs

Given that the news tracker for each girl on 48kei already lists TV appearances and soforth, lusobr's idea of dividends for them makes sense.

I saw that ^_^ I meant like some sort of post saying day such and such there'll be an auction or every such day of the month there'll be one. If I had known about it even two days earlier I could have sold some stock and saved up the money for the auction. Oh well! No sense crying over spilled milk.

I can't read japanese so I had no idea the news feed in there already tracked tv appearances. I guess there's no reason not to implement it then XD.

Another auction hits soon, started 9pm JST till 11pm JST. Not as big as last time, but still worth checking out.

I wonder when the Eien Pressure sales dividends hit...

Oh, and I logged on with my phone where I don't have Flyp's romanjifier installed, and what do you know, they've romanised all the names now too.
Title: Re: AKB48 Stock Trading Game

Some girls I had my eyes on but nobody wanted to sell are part of this auction. I'm in a better position right now than last time but still not good enough to get what I want. I'll be able to get at least 1 girl's stock so that's better.

Just when I was getting used to recognizing their names by the kanji they do this XD. Thought I could learn Japanese forcibly but oh well... Also I hate when people westernize japanese names. I get confused with the first name last name. I'm used to seeing Japanese and Chinese names inverted so I do it automatically in my head and it messes me up when they do that ...

Couple that with the auction it's prime time to buy.

Speaking of the single dividends can anyone explain to me how they work?
I tried making the calculations but mine don't add up. The dividends table is not very clear. The solo singles seem to follow a 1:10 rating but the group singles I can't reach the right result no matter what.

I broke two million before the Eien Pressure dividends were given out.
In fact, I completely forgot about those so I didn't really gain that much from it.

However! I'm doing pretty well. My four week plan paid of sooner than expected.
A lot of that has to do with Rena's stock going through the roof lately, so when she goes down I will follow.

I'm at 2.1M. My plan is working so far, but now that the market has somewhat stabilized it will take longer to do things.

I still think there is some cheating going on but so far it is not widespread, but unless something is done to prevent people from colluding and driving prices up for no reason this game will get frustrating and not fun... The stock value should be determined by the market not a group of people trying over-price something.

My four week plan heavily relied on Kasai... and she's graduating.  :bleed eyes:

Even though my account value is still over 4 million, it's completely meaningless because I will lose a lot of money on Kasai.
Yes, I will get a nice amount of dividend from the single release, but that is nothing compared to the amount I will lose  :bleed eyes:

The timing is funny, because:
1. I sorta figured out how I could make money relatively easily. All I needed was the upcoming dividend as starting capital.
2. I also realized that playing the game to get a high account value isn't really that interesting and that supporting your favorites, regardless of gain may be a much more fun approach.

So yeah, let's see how I will come out of this Kasai fiasco and then it's time to re-think this entire game  :nervous

edit: I am already down 1.4 MILLION.  :sweatdrop:

You can now short sell:

Quote
Long? Short? What are these?

Long means that you own the stock. Short are the stocks that you owe the system.

Why does my money get deducted when I short sell? Why does it tell me that "Not enough money" while short selling?

When you short sell, you will pay the system [Number of shares] x [Current price] as deposit. When you buy back the stocks later, you will get back your deposit and the profit/loss you made from short selling.

The market has been fluctuating a lot this week, as for me, I was affected a lot by the Kasai grad announcement too, and have reduced to around the mid 2.5million level, still don't think I've cracked 3mill, but might have done when Kasai was at a high. But then, as I've always said, its only really a gain once you sell at a profit.

sorry guys can someone explain short-selling a bit more to me? I'm a bit confused by how it works. :nervous

you are borrowing stocks against the market and sell it at a certain price i.e. XYZ is at 9800 yen/share and with ten shares you get 98,000 yen in total in a short sell

in an optimal situation (where the short sell works) the price of XYZ drops to 9000yen/share and with the amount you have you buy the stocks at 9000 so you gain 8000 yen + 10 shares of the stock (98,000- (9000 X 10)= 8000 yen)

If it rises, you lose money because you will need more than the amount you borrowed i.e. XYZ at 10,000 yen/share (98,000- (10,000 X 10)= -2,000 yen)

If you can read the jargon, here it is (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short_(finance))

Yeah, I'ma ignore all that. Too complex  :nervous

Anyway, I'm making mistake after mistake. I actually sold all my Kasai.
The upside is that I sold them at a price 5K more than what I paid on average, so in that sense I still got the single release dividend.
On the other hand, I will miss out on the sales dividend but at least I won't lose money when her stock will plummet after that, so yeah.

One thing that is annoying me is that some people sell thousand+ shares for like 500 yen (yesterday, Lemon). It seems like some weird tactic to kill a girl's stock or something... Not sure. It's happening with other girls' stock too. :/

Title: Re: AKB48 Stock Trading Game
Post by: Rust on December 19, 2012, 05:38:07 PM
^
^Someone is guess that the cheap stock-killing is actually mistake by stockholders who mix up the price & the amount. It a possibility, like instead of selling 500 lemon stock for $12,000, one is selling 12000 stocks for $500. But I think it is happening too much to be a "mistake" as it is happening to Rena stocks too. Also the number (such as the one I provide) don't seems too plausible.

Soooo... I dunno. :nervous

Edit: They also seems to have added an image uploading system. It seems like you can get money from uploading too
Haven't try it yet, will give it a look later.

I'm not surprised by the colluding (IMHO it is so) but the person running it can always add more complex security protection to prevent that but people who aren't familiar with stocks in general will tune out because of the complexity.  But as for me I understand all of it but the fact that it has and will happen only interests me more.  aka "inside trading" or stock bombing

If we work around it, we can build a team to benefit each other.

This should be interesting  XD I got my eye on four N46 members... definitely gonna try to get a piece of the action this time around.

Well, that was the auction. I had my eyes on five girls, but narrowed it down to two in order to increase my chances of actually winning some stock.

I ended up HUGELY OVERPAYING for Erika Ikuta! However, with her birthday coming up soon and her being one of the top members I'm sure I'll get my money's worth in the end.  :)

They also announced the NMB48 4th gen member going up for auction in a couple of days!
I'ma pass since I have zero money anymore. lol

Before the auction I manage to covert about half of my stock value into cash, slightly more than one million.
My brother also created an account just for the Nogizaka members too.

So, this morning my brother woke up & find out he got 200 Nanase stocks (his oshi) & 50 Sayurin stocks (also an oshi, but slighty lower one).

& I woke up to find... I still have one million cash.

...
...
...

What?!?!
& to my greatest fear, I Did Not Got Any Nogi-Stocks At All!!!!!!!!!! :shocked :panic:
Seriously? Before I slept, my bid price was certainly not in the high range, but was certainly not in the low range either.
I even bid for the less-sought-after members too, & that also yielded nothing!??!!?
My bid price was similar to my brother's too, & he Got 250 Nogi-Stocks!

What on Earth! (rage) :banghead:

...my life is miserable. :( Well, not really. My stock life is. :nervous

Can anyone living in a timezone where they might have witnessed the last moment of the bidding process tell me how was the situation like? I have a very hard time believing I got out-bid on every single bid I made.

If you are using the same computer, be sure not to buy/sell each other stock or you might get banned.

It hugely depends on the member. The ones I watched had top bids around 25K with over 9000 bids. With only 3000 available for each girl a lot of people who put in low bids missed out. However, for the lower tier members it was very different with top bids around 4500 and only an amount less than 5000.

In the end, even Ikuta sold for slightly less than 8K per stock which seems quite cheap. I think only Ikoma was a bit higher.
Bottom line, if you put in bids around 4K for low tier members and 10K for top members you probably should have gotten some.
Are you sure you pressed the "bid" button after filling in the form?  :nervous

edit:

Nine days ago I lost 1.4 million due to Kasai's graduation announcement, but I managed to bounce back!
--> Account value: ¥ 4,009,668  XD

Thanks for the reminder. I know about that rule so no worries.

& yes I did press bid for sure. :nervous
It was on the "my share" page too (the bids that is.)

It funny how if they didn't have 24 hours bid time, it might be better for me. :sweatdrop:
Now... what to do with one million in cold hard cash...

^lol yeah I noticed. However after the last auction, I was busy trading making good on my one million spare cash, now I have almost no cash. :nervous I managed to got some Maiyan, Nanamin, & Sayurin stocks, & must say they are doing awesome! Still no luck with Ikuchan thou. :banghead: & no cash for more auctions for now. :nervous

Good thing there's still time, so I can managed to raise cash. Yesterday's amount of trading met new height for me btw, I managed to trade some 128 stocks! Althou the 200 stock trading bonus isn't much, but since I already made it that far, it was very tempting for me to try to reach it. Alas 200 it seems I cannot reach. :catglare:

I also managed to up my account value to ¥ 2,707,564 during the process too. :)

They are trying to revamp the dividend system too! I personally think its a good thing, as the current system over-reward g+ (& somehow that means NMB lol) & punish members who are actually doing well but haven't manage to touch g+ (mostly senbatsu AKB members).
E.g. mayuyu, jurina, ace material sitting around ¥ 30,000; AKB's cm queen & fashionista tomochin at ¥ 36,000, while NMB's nana is over A Hundred Thousand!!! :bleed eyes:
Even mirurun (as much as I like her) managed ¥ 41,200, which frankly speaking doesn't reflect her value imo (too high).

What do you folks think of the dividend revamp?

I hope they don't change it too much, tbh. You can't keep making fundamental changes to a game like this, it's unfair.
People base their strategies on the rules of the game and if you change the rules that can have severe consequences.
While I do agree that the value of certain members isn't properly reflected, the value of that member in the game may differ.
I have no problem with that as such. Aw well, let's see what they'll come up with.

I'm down about 60K on Ikuta so my account value dropped to ¥ 4,385,429. Can't complain, I guess. lol

And yeah, I never reached 200 day either. Even when I ditched all my Kasai and bought new I barely reached 150 iirc.

Still not really playing it anymore (apart from to collect my daily bonus)...

But I've  been hearing on twitter that NMB stocks are going nuts. A few members over 100k, and then some lesser known members going for ridiculous amounts, like http://www.48kei.net/stocks/%e4%ba%95%e5%b0%bb%e6%99%8f%e8%8f%9c (http://www.48kei.net/stocks/%e4%ba%95%e5%b0%bb%e6%99%8f%e8%8f%9c) and http://www.48kei.net/stocks/%e4%b8%89%e6%b5%a6%e4%ba%9c%e8%8e%89%e6%b2%99 (http://www.48kei.net/stocks/%e4%b8%89%e6%b5%a6%e4%ba%9c%e8%8e%89%e6%b2%99) for example

NMB stocks are going nuts.

Buying one Milky share right now would cost you ¥ 169,000  Crazy.
There's this other NMB girl who posts like 20 G+ messages in one day who is quite expensive too.

I was looking at the main group indices and it the groups' worth seem like this AKB > NMB > SKE > HKT > N46.
Especially the N46 looks really flat. After the initial auction crazy everything settles down super fast. I guess it'll stay that way until the next single releases or something.

Ikuta and Sasshi had a bit of a dip today, but they are back making me reach the next target: ¥ 6,130,418!
Title: Re: AKB48 Stock Trading Game
Post by: lusobr on January 04, 2013, 08:44:02 PM
NMB stock has been high ever since I joined the game. They had the most suspicious price spikes I've seen so far. Now it has somewhat settled down. It didn't make sense then that their price was higher than SKE for instance, but now that they announced an album it makes sense for their prices to be up there. Since Nogizaka members don't use G+, have less CM's and their first solo act is far away it makes sense their price is low. Not to mention 2nd generation auditions that should drive some of the back-row members numbers down. The risk of forced graduation is high right now for some NGK members. Specially considering they have no regular theater performances and too many girls for what they do right now.

My strategy is doing fine. It's slow because my stocks are at a bad place to sell right now, but my goal is inching closer every day.

Not sure what happened while I was asleep but a lot of the stock went up! Maybe new people joined pushing up the prices or something.
Both Rena and Sasshi are higher than ever, which is good for me since I passed another barrier at: ¥ 9,470,558  XD

I doubt it will last though. I was considering selling my Rena's, but she's the only one I get dividend from so it's a tough choice.
If I sell Rena at 131K I could invest in someone new, but none of the girls I have my eye on get decent dividend so it seems like a waste to sacrifice Rena for them.

Once the single spree if over I'm going to take more risk, because the game is getting a tad boring. I'm too calculating, haha.
After the spree I might sell it all and only invest in my top favs regardless of their future or dividend.

Quote
How on earth are you managing to make such crazy profits!!!

Like Jul3 mentioned, a lot of the stock blew up (and is still doing so) so naturally that helps a lot.

Tip 1. My advice would to only keep 100K or so maximum in cash. Cash is money that isn't properly invested.
For example, if you put that 900K in pretty much any girl, chances are it will have gone up by now since all indeces are still rising.
In other words, always invest!

Tip 2. "Free" stock. Any stock under 2500 yen (or 3500 yen for better known members) or any stock that's up for IPO is a good deal. the stock will go up eventually due to birthday or single events. I bought my Takada Shiori at 3,500 and with SKE48's upcoming single release it's now up to 42,000! BAM.

Tip 3. Think big, think ahead, don't limit yourself. In other words, when a stock has been at 25K for ages, that doesn't mean buying one at 45K is a bad deal. For example, I bought Rena stock at around 65K which was an enormous amount at the time. However, I expected Rena's stock would go up so I bought it anyway. Turns out I was right because Rena is now at 279K making my initial 65K seem like the bargain of a lifetime.

Of course I have several other strategies and tips but the idea of the game is to figure those out for yourself  :P

Another barrier broken at ¥ 33,468,888

I've been getting bored with this game since it just goes on... Stock and cash accumulates without any clear purpose.
I've seen some people suggest that you can make it interesting by setting goals for yourself, for example to collect member badges. Collect as much as you can from one girl and become the #1 fan, or try to get complete teams, etc. Idk... Might be a nice change of pace.

I'm tempted to sell it all and only buy Rena's, but I don't want to waste all the work I've done so far, so I'll wait until the major singles have been released.

I sold all my Shiitan's as soon as the news broke and got around 45K for most of them. I guess some people hadn't heard the news yet. Just in time, since she dropped to 30K last night.

^ Yeah, I got bored of it a long time ago and only check when people mention it.
Broke a barrier though, by doing nothing:

Account value: ¥ 10,097,426

So in 5 days since my last post, my value has almost doubled.

I'm going to claim all the benefit was due to Mayuyu's  :shakeit: though since: ¥ 21,210 --> ¥ 269,000

But then also, Jurina is fairly similar with a 10x increase into the 200k range and Wasamin a 10x increase into the 100k range too.

The one thing for sure is that the gap between members is sure widened a lot. Here's the top and bottom:
Haruka Ueno   ¥ 2,400
Nana Yamada   ¥ 420,000
And Nana peaked at ¥ 515,000 at one point...

lol if this game taught me anything, it is the virtue of Patience!
I bought a lotta good stocks long ago for hyper cheap prices... e.g. Jurina.. Wasamin.. I even have Rena's stocks too!
I know they were under-valued, so I bought them, however...

eventually I sold them all for lowly profit, cause I was impatience with their relative steadiness.

of course... now that the stocks are experiencing super-rise, I am left with anguish & regret!!!! :mon nwei:

Patient is the key Rusty! Patient~~~~!!!! :mon runcry:

Blasted past another milestone this morning: Account value: ¥ 51,219,657

I noticed there is barely any stock for sale anymore. A lot of the good stock is at "OVER" and nobody is selling because:
1. prices are still going up
2. there is nothing to buy

As a result, I have been hoarding NogiStock like crazy  It's cheap!

So, we've lived without dividends for a while now. How did it affect the game for y'all?

- My spending is down a lot. I only bought around 10 new stock and not even the ones I was planning to buy.
- I also sell less because I don't know what the new dividend system will entail. Selling any stock now may be a massive waste when the new system is in place.
- As far as portfolio value goes, it's still going up every day. You can see in the charts that the inflation is somewhat less, but not really by that much. I'm currently at ¥ 71,493,462 which means it went up roughly 20 million in just over a week.

I'm glad the CD sales and Bday dividends are still being paid out because I got a lot coming my way these next weeks  XD

The hyper-inflation led me to loss track of everything!
I don't think anyone was willing to selling, since the stocks just kept going up, up, & UP! XD
I did bought 20 stocks for cheap during this period, but they're not going up like crazy... :(

Anyways, my current account value is ¥ 23,804,653. I don't know how much value that is anymore thou, considering the hyper-inflation it might not be much! XD

Title: Re: AKB48 Stock Trading Game
Post by: SomethingWild on February 06, 2013, 05:55:34 PM
Man, my dividend plan was a huge anti-climax.

- Bday dividends won't be paid out until they turn it back on
- For Yuki's solo debut I got nothing. (It lists 5K in the dividends chart)
- The dividend for SKE48's single sales were REALLY LOW. Jurina: ¥ 310 + 62 and Rena: ¥ 138 + 41.

How is that even possible. For Eien the dividend was between 700~1200! Sure, the sales are half of what AKB does, but these are the aces! Even the No Sleeves single a couple weeks ago was ¥ 609 and that didn't even sell that well.

Anyway, I got bored so I revamped my portfolio a bit to get a more balanced list:
- AKB48: 120 shares (including double members like Jurina)
- SKE48: 60 shares
- NMB48: 30 shares
- HKT48: 60 shares
- Nogizaka: 70 shares
- French Kiss: 10 shares
- No Sleeves: 10 shares
- Warota: 30 shares
- Not yet: 30 shares

The theory being that no matter who releases something, I'll always get a slice of the cake
But even so, it seems meaningless now that the SKE48 proved to be hella low  :nervous

Account value going up and down, mostly due to the Yuki rumors. Wavering around 72 mil.

About dividend, do you think it is possible there were something off? (uh oh, that sounds like a pun on your name lol... sry not intentional!)
I was getting what I considered abnormally high g+ dividends for my Annya stocks for a while, & if that was replicated by a large scales, we get hyperinflation reminiscent of interwar Germany? Additionally your dividend seems way off too, so that adding to my fueling my suspicion that the calculation might have been off or something.

I'm actually pretty happy with all this! There's finally some movement again.

I also lost a lot of money, but there are upsides to all this:
- We can play the game again: buy and sell stock to make a profit.
- Stock from more members is available now
- Some of the extreme prices have leveled out a bit

I went from roughly 72 million to ¥ 60,280,067. However! I managed to update, or rather, streamline my portfolio.

I bought:
- Watanabe Mayu: center for the upcoming single, center for the new NO NAME, solo artist and all around ace.
- Ikuta Erika: CHEAP ZOMG.
- Ikoma Rina: Nogi center for around 35K!
- Matsui Jurina: Was watching the So Long Team K dorama and couldn't resist.

I sold:
- Kashiwagi Yuki: been going up and down for a while now and the solo dividends have been paid out already.
- Minami Hoshino
- Takayama Kazumi
- Ikoma Rina: I sold it off quite soon again to be able to buy more Ikuta. It's tricky because you never know when something will go up or down. In retrospect I sold this a bit too soon since it's around 83K again. On the other hand, I did manage to score some Ikuta because I sold this, so it's all good. Nogi for Nogi.

So yeah, I sold off a lot of Nogi to buy AKB and SKE ace stock. Makes sense from a business point of view since the Nogi stock doesn't pay out that much. I have 50 shares of Ikuta now, so it's not like I abandoned them completely  :P

Not quite finished remodeling my portfolio, but so far so good. I'm still lacking NMB members. Somehow they're a pain to get.

I received roughly 200K in So Long! dividends, which is less than expected considering the amount of top girls I had. Aw well.

I sold all my Ikuta! It shot up to 99K today, so I sold them all and bought Ikoma Rina and Shiraisi Mai instead who were 50% cheaper.
This means I have the same amount of N46 stock, but with higher dividends AND several million left in cash!

I finally managed to get a hold of some NMB stock as well! Picked up some Mayu Ogasawara, Miyuki Watanabe (!), Rena Kawakami and Yui Yokoyama.  :twothumbs

Worst investments so far are Lovetan and Mayu. Lovetan keeps dropping and Mayu won't go up (yet! I have faith).

Also, the top investor list now shows your position as well!

Nope, I think it closed down many months ago...

A few years later...

Seems like AKB is releasing something which seems like an official version of this!

Seems very familiar to it on the surface so hopefully it does trigger a greater interest  :nervous
